The Princess Diaries ♥ 2014 will be the year I earn my crown (ok, Target badge)!

Thanks lovely peeps!! So chuffed. And as I say time and time again - I couldn't do this without your support. Here's to another great week everyone :) xxx

I wish I had a SW friend. I had one friend who inspired me to join in the first place. We went to different classes but we'd help each other resist temptation when out and share recipes etc. She lost 5 stone and is now at target and managing to have mad weekends and keep it good for the rest of the week. I wish my other half would rejoin but he won't :( Admittedly he isn't overweight but he has gained everything he lost last time! I'm very dependant and despite doing it for a year now, I still feel very dependent on others. :/

Don't focus on what she has done! Everyone is different - I've been doing this for over 2 years now and have "only" managed to lose 2st 9lb, whilst there are members of my group that have only been there a year or so and have lost 4 and 5 stone. I could get myself down about it and worry about not losing as much as them, but I try and focus on me. Nobody else! I have still lost weight. If I had not been going for the past 2 and a bit years, how much extra weight could I potentially have put on?? And you, my lovely, are the same. So you must stop thinking like that!!

If we were closer I would be your Slimming World friend and would try my hardest to keep you on track - although (admittedly) I find it hard enough on nights out myself lol :D But you know I'm always here as a virtual friend. If you need anything. Any recipes, ideas, or just someone to talk to. Even if you didn't want to post it publicly and prefered to private message me. That is totally fine. As I said on your diary yesterday - you never gave up on me, so I won't give up on you either!! xxx

Guess what I am doing tonight...going swimming!! Oooooh. I keep saying I am going to start again with the Body Magic but it has just been empty words up to now. Anyway I've just sat and made myself a little exercise plan, which is looking like this...

Wednesday: Swimming, 6-7pm
Thursday: Rest day
Friday: BodyCombat, 17.45-18.30
Saturday: CXWorx, 09.30-10.00 and BodyCombat 10.00-10.45
Sunday: Rest day
Monday: BodyCombat, 18.15-19.15 and Bums, Legs & Tums, 19.15-20.00
Tuesday: Weigh day / Rest day

Most weeks I will probably only do either Friday or Saturday, but occasionly I may do both...depending on how motivated I'm feeling :giggle:

Now, I'm not saying I'm going to do all of that this week. But that's what my aim is eventually. I am going to gradually build myself up and reintroduce Body Magic a little at a time - aiming for my Gold award. And the timetable may vary from week to week, depending on what I fancy. But you get the picture, it's a rough plan.

I think my problem last time was that I really hammered the classes. I went pretty much every day (except for weigh day) and did sometimes 3 classes a time! I did enjoy it at firts but then I ended up sickening myself off. That's why I'm aiming to have rest days in between and also doing the swimming as well. Something a bit fresh and different. I love swimming but haven't been in ages - thought I'd bite the bullet and go tonight! Looking forward to it actually :)

Morning diary. Almost Friday, woop!!

Had a very busy night last night. I finished work and went to Tesco for a few bits we needed, then just as I got home my Mam and Dad FaceTimed me from Mauritius! It was lovely to see them. I am still blown away by technology today. Thousands of miles away and we can still see and speak to each other. They said everything is just lovely. The hotel is gorgeous and very traditional, the beach is beautiful and the pools are lovely. Yesterday they were very tired after all of their travelling (they had to fly Newcastle to Paris and then Paris to Mauritius) so they just had a totally lazy day by the pool. They said they'd had some gorgeous fresh pancakes/crepes at snack time - my mam had one with coconut and one with lemon and sugar. I am not jealous at all...:giggle:

Anyway, after I got off the phone to them I prepared my breakfast and lunch all ready for today. Made some more of my roasted red pepper hummus and chopped my fruit and veg all ready to grab out of the fridge this morning. And then at 6pm I went swimming! I loved it. I haven't been for ages so the first few lengths really took it out of me, but once I got into the swing of it I really enjoyed it. I managed 26 lengths in about 30 minutes. It's probably not fantastic but it's a start, and something for me to work on! After that I came home and made myself pasta for tea, watched a bit of TV and had a nice bath. It was about 10pm before I climbed into bed, which is late for me! Through the week I am normally tucked up in bed by 7pm with a cup of tea and a HiFi bar ready for the soaps starting lol!

Spoke to my nanna on the phone before I went to bed. Bless her she is so canny. She is always texting me to see if we are okay or if we need anything. She amazes me. She is 80 year old and she is fantastic. She is always texting or on the computer and she has a great social life too! We always joke that whenever you go round to see her she is out at the bingo or with friends lol! I hope I'm like that when I get to her age. Anyway, I think we will go round for tea one night next week as she likes to have us. It will have to be next week because Joel (my brother) is on nights this week. He has said he will have sausage, egg, chips and beans. My nanna is following SW and goes to my group, so we could also have a SW version.

Also text my Aunty Linda again last night as she was going to visit my Grandad JJ. She said he was a little better and is improving every day. My mams cousin works at the hospital so she has been popping in to see him too. I saw she had posted a message on her FB to say that he was looking tonnes better and that he was also very chatty. Which is great news! Still not sure when he will be home though, but not worrying about that as I know he's in the best place. There's no point being at home on his own when he is poorly.

Think tonight is going to be a bit calmer lol. I have no plans so I think I will just come home and make tea and then watch some TV. I'm really into all of the soaps at the minute (I have phases) so I will watch those. Waterloo Road starts again tonight and also Educating Yorkshire. I've really been looking forward to those. God I need a life!! Lol :giggle:

Anyway, this is my food for today. Have a great one everyone x

Have a lovely day x

Oh no made a mistake any one know the syns for crunchy nut yoghurty?

Can't see it on the website. It will be 1 Syn per every 20 calories as it doesn't contain any free food allowance x

Thanks hun so annoyed

Just takes a bit of getting used to. Keep reading your book / exploring the SW website and become familiar with the different HEx's and what does / doesn't count. It will soon become second nature x

Hey lovely, here to subscribe to your new diary. Sounds like you're in a really good place with SW at the mo :) Glad to hear your Grandad is on the mend. My parents are on holiday at the moment too, which means I'm cooking dinner for my Grannie (who's 92) every night for a fortnight. It's lovely spending time with her though xx

Wasn't too keen on the fruit pot, ginger was too strong for me. But then I'm not the biggest fan of ginger in the first place. But hey, I tried it!

Hi again :)

I've been reading bits and pieces of your diary... Congratulations on how well you are doing ! :) You're an inspiration, and so positive :)
Do you have only 5 syns on week days, and 15 on Friday, Saturday and Sunday ? This sounds like a good idea to me, I'm thinking of giving it a try x x
