Oh fluffing hell. A LOT worse than I expected last night. 4lb on!!!!! :eek: :eek:

Oh well, the kick up the backside I needed to get back on it this week. The only problem is, I am at York on Saturday. All day and night. Last week all went to pot due to alcohol and a mammoth hangover. I don't want this week to end up the same.

So my plan this week...I'm going back to basics. Back to EE all week and going to limit my Syns. If possible I'm going to try and have a couple of Syn free days - no more than 5 Syns per day anyhow. Then I should have lots left over for York. Already posted my plans for York itself yesterday, so hopefully I should be able to stick to my guns. I really want a maintain next Tuesday. I don't want to start this gaining malarkey all over again.

Breakfast:
- Apple (S)
- Danio Cherry Yogurt (1.5 Syns)

Lunch:
- Tesco Light Choices Chicken Breasts (S) with Tomato and Basil Sauce (2 Syns) served with Broccoli (S), Carrots (S) and Cauliflower (S)
- Orange (S)

Dinner:
- WW Wholemeal Pitta (HExB) topped with Tomato Puree (S), Mushrooms (S), Peppers (S), Red Onion (S), Sweetcorn and Cheese (HExA). Served with Potato Wedges and 2 tbsp. Lighter Than Light Mayo (1 Syn)

Healthy Extra A: 40g Low Low Grated
Healthy Extra B: Weight Watchers Wholemeal Pitta

Daily Syns: 4.5
Weekly Syns: 4.5 / 105

At least you have a plan for avoiding too many syns at the weekend! I reckon you can lose those extra pounds fine, especially if you stick to plan in the week like usual :)

How is your friend doing that joined sw btw?

Hi Stevie.

Well done for having a plan and putting it into action. I would hazard a guess that the gain is not all 'fat' weight but mostly fluid, especially if the junk food included salty things which make your body hang on to water. It may take a few more days for your body to recover.

Good luck for next week's WI and enjoy your time in York.
 
Sounds like a great start to the week - you'll shimmy those lbs off in no time with days like this. I've got a bit of a manic weekend all over the place coming up, so I will use you for inspirational thoughts to keep me making sensible choices!
 
Morning everyone, thanks for such lovely supportive comments. It feels great to be back on the wagon already. No beating myself up or being miserable after a gain - just picked myself up, dusted myself off and started a fresh week!

Thanks for asking about my friend Sarah who joined a couple of weeks ago. She did really well in her first week, losing 5.5lb! Last week she had a bad week and gained 1lb, and this weekend she is at York with me, so I don't know how she'll do next Tuesday. Unlike me, she's decided just to enjoy York and have whatever she fancies. Nothing wrong with that! She's hoping for 2.5lb off for her first half stone, so we'll have to wait and see. I really want her to do well.

Ooh, I'm going out for tea tonight!! Well, round to my cousins. She is house sitting for my older cousin and hubby whilst they are away on their jollies so she asked if I'd like to go round for some food and a catch up. I'm never one to turn down things like that!! She's following SW too, and is doing extremely well. She's lost just half a lb shy of 3 stone in no more than 20 weeks!! So she is making us SW friendly tacos with potato wedges and salad. Yum yum, can't wait for that!!

Then it will be home to finish off the ironing, get any washing done that needs to be done and then an early night. I am shattered - I must have seen every hour last night / this morning!! Thankfully I'm off work tomorrow so I won't have to be up too early. I do need to be up at a reasonable time though as I'm picking my mam and dad up from the airport at 11am, and I will get up and have a quick hoover and make sure everything is looking ship-shape before then.

Anyway, this is how today is looking...

That is a great first week loss, so pretty much cancels out the pound put on last week. I'm glad she is enjoying it

Never had them SW style. I love mexican food though so I know they'll be right up my street! With eating out I'm not sure if she'll have cheese or not, she's not in her own house so it might be a bit awkward. I'm saving my A choice for that though, just in case. If not, I'll have a nice glass of chocolate milk before bed. Yum! :) xx

They were luscious!! I am definitely going to buy some of those taco shells and make them myself, so easy too!! The Discovery taco shells are only 2.5 Syns each whereas the Old El Paso ones are 3 each I think. Worth knowing!
