The Secret Diary Of A Fat Girl..Has Her Mojo Back.. And It's here To Stay!

Just a thought bunny but you said on a different thread that you didn't think the doc would sign it. You could always get a private prescription from an online doc

I don't think she will sign it and let me have the Xenical, I want both so i can use the Xenical when re feeding..

Have you done tfr before? xx

Yeah, I have not cd though and I didn't last very long, by day 5 I was just dying for food, I wasn't in ketosis though, once you get there it's ok...my own fault as I had a piece of toast and threw my off course lol!

Ah ok I see! But will the doc sign both?! I imagine they'd say you didn't need xen with tfr?! Thats just my assumption though?!

When you seeing the doc?! Xx

hey hun... add me on fb... krystle smith (my piccie is me with topgun glasses on)

im so sorry ive not been around much over the last two weeks....

sounds like you have had a right crappy time...

personally.... you are being far to hard on yourself. (but others say that about me too!!!) lol

i also would contact another cdc.... you dont have to have a sig for all the plans. and if that is the case then the last 3 cdc's ive been to have been wrong..

your bmi is below 40, so as far as im aware you dont need your dr sig for it.. so i would get another opinion before you take it in there. as i pretty much can garentee that your doc wont sign and give you xenical...

hope you are doing ok...

Biggest loser shakes are not overly nice. (and for future reference the celebrity slim ones taste exactly the same!!)

if you want to continue with the xenical have you thought about exante.. there are not as many flavour of shakes/soups and bars, but at least you dont need a dr sig to do it.. and the plans are the same :)

if you have any questions please pm me.... or ask away.. honestly i will give you the best adivce i can...

once again sorry ive not been here much...
xxx

Why don't you try your practise nurse, they signed mine before for tfr. Then your dr might not twig when you need xenical again. This is really underhand and i can't believe i've just surgested it!!

Mandy

I take it your practice isn't computerised Mandy ? Everything in my docs is written on the computer so whoever you see has the full history

Aww hun, don't worry about not being here hun, you've had a lot to deal with yourself, and I understand, it's nice to see you back though! :)

Those Biggest Loser shakes are the worse I've tasted, so synthetic and all I can taste in powder, gross!!.. I've come to the end of the box and I'm definitely not having anymore!! lol!

I've had a right crappy time, head all over the place etc...but I'm coming round now, tfr is the way forward for how how long I'm not sure, but it's what I need right now..

Mandy

lol!...that is sneaky.. our practise is really nice, but she might send me to the docs anyway as she hasn't seen for the Xenical

Ours is all on the computer, our doctors recently went to a new building, it's really posh... a nice surgery :)

Well.. I've made the appointment and I'm booked in for 11.20. I really hope she signs the form, I'm going to tell her I'll still be eating as I'm going a higher plan, and hopefully she will sign it and that will be fine and then in 2 weeks when I go for my Xenical prescription she just does it...

I just want the form signed though, with or without the Xenical,I need tfr right now, and if I don't get the Xenical, I'll just go back in 2 months and say I want the Xenical again, she'd already have signed the form (hopefully) by then.. I think re feeding with Xenical would be better...

here I go.... :)

It just sounds way too complicated to me. Have you seen the pics of Pauline quirk ? ! She looks amazing. She's lost over 6 stone on lighter life

Right, I went to Dr Misery, and I went through the form and explained it, she said I will have to put the form into the reception for her to do as she couldn't possibly sign it there and then!

I can't do the Xenical and cd (which I knew)if it wasn't conradicted on the form I would've got away with it..she said if I come off the Xenical for cd then I wouldn't be able to go back to cd for like 6 months..hmmmm not sure what to do...

I haven't given the form in the reception yet, just in case I choose not to do cd. I could do Exante and still get the Xenical and the doc wouldn't know any difference.. with Exante though I have to think about the discipline, I know I'll get checked weekly with cd, will that make a difference if I choose Exante?

Plus it will mean changing my bank account if I do Exante as, I have a savings account HSBC in my town (thats doesn't allow paypal or debit) , my other account Barclays (that does allow paypal and debit, the local branch shut so I'd have to go all the way to that branch to put money into it for paypal every week)

So I'm not sure what I'm going to do now, Exante or cd  I'm going to pop into town in the morning to my bank and see what I can do with my account, I don't particulary want to open another account, so if I have to do that I won't be doing Exante, I'll go for cd and put the form in, hopefully the doc will sort it before my cdc appointment next wednesday

I think i may sign back back up with facebook, keep in touch with you guys from here.. I was on facebook ages ago, but it got hacked and all my friends and family were furious about it, they'd put private things on my wall etc so I closed my facebook and haven't used it since.. so If I sign back up I may just add you guys and that's it... all go today! be glad when it's time for bed! zzzzzzzzzzzz

I may be asking stupid questions but I don't know about tfr stuff. What is so wonderful about cd that you'd go to all that hassle over exante v cd? I don't know either of them. If they are so good why do docs not sign the papers? What about lighter life?

With cd, you have more choice of shakes, soups, bars and they do a porridge too. Exante have only soups, shakes and bars.

With cd you do have the support of a cdc, she visits weekly and weighs and measures you, and will support you, answer any questions etc.. that's a real incentive, as you know someone is coming to weigh you weekly, so does make you want to not cave as much.

With Exante, you have no consultant or weekly checks, it's just you and the shakes etc. Exante doesn't require any doctors checks, forms etc and its cheaper than cd if you buy the bumper packs of food, per meal they're around £1.30 on cd per meal £2.00

There's not a lot of difference, I would prefer the Exante as then I can keep weighing in at the docs monthly and i can get my Xenical and Dr Misery doesn't have to know. To do Exante though I would need to change my bank account (my current account isn't local as they closed the branch and I'd have to go every week to put in that bank, if I can change my account in my town then I won't have to) Exante is done online via debit/credit card and paypal.

cd is paid weekly to your cdc.

I did lighterlife and I didn't get on with it at all. tfr are brilliant diets if they're for the right people.

Hi

I hope you can work out what to do for the best. How about instead of changing accounts open another new account somewhere else and tranfer the funds to that account by internet banking, would that be possible?
K

Well, I've been into town this morning and took back a pack of school tops, they're too long but great around the chest, so I got a different size for my eldest to try later!

Then I popped to the bank to see if I could change my account, they coudn't see me, so I've got an appointment tomorrow now.

So if I can change my account I will be doing Exante, if not I'll be cd.

Had a few funny days food wise, just seem to be plodding along, not really taking much interest in what I'm eating (I'm not eating anything too bad either) plus I'm sure totm is approaching soon I expect a gain or a sts this week.

Would like to get the tfr sorted soon, ideally have a week on it before my docs check, can guarantee a better loss then...

gawd, life was sooooo much simpler when i wasn't dieting lol!

The best solution is supermarket food. It's got great variety, is colourful, and comes in packets if you want it too . Best of all you can pay as you collect or have it delivered . No need to change bank accounts :)
No dilemmas needed :)

Must admit though I like the advisor coming to me rather than me going to then to be weighed. Nice personal service.

So your decide tomorrow what plan your gonna do then?! So are you having a last meal so to speak?! Xx

Tfr isn't for everyone, but they work and for certain people it's the right choice for them :)

Yeah, I like that too :)

Yep, tomorrow I'll know exactly what I'm doing...thankfully...no last meal yet, it will be a good one though, and a piece of carrot cake I think for pud ;)
