This Little Piggy Goes to Atkins

Hurrah, happy Thursday! I've supplemented my Exante packs today with vitamin D, and psyllium tablets. I have been taking the D for months, but hadn't for the past 2 days so will see if that may have had an effect on my mood. So far so good.
After work I'm meeting my cousin for coffee which will be nice. Off tomorrow, morning with the husband and maybe a nice walk in the forest, then afternoon coffee with a friend. Have a good day all.

Morning :) sorry I havnt read through all ur diary, I will try to at some point lol so are u on exante now? What made u switch from Atkins?

Hi Stef,

I started in June on Exante and lost roughly 2 stone. Then I went to Atkins and managed to maintain more than lose (too much cream I suspect!). Now I'm doing a final month on Exante to shift as much as I can. I'm hoping it'll be enough so that I can do Atkins for life and maintain from there.

Good afternoon Smiley. Hope you're having a fab day, and feeling much better. xx

Hi Smiles, how is it going today? Iv had a hectic few days, not been around much, lordy its hard catching up on diaries when u get lost behind!

Hello girls, I'm a bit upset tonight. A little while ago I was asked by a firm in our business centre whether I would consider working for them. It's a fab job, I love the people in there and I'm qualified in their line of work. In fact, it's my dream job. Unfortunately because I work for the business centre, there is a clause in the tenancy agreement of the businesses that they can't employ a member of centre staff for 6 months after they leave. So in view of that I approached the centre manager, was open & honest, and asked if there was a way around it as my probationary 6 months is not up til Dec. She said she'd ask her manager at a meeting which was held yesterday. I asked her to text and let me know, but heard nothing. Saw her today, asked if she managed to ask him and she curtly told me she was too hung over to deal with it today and would speak to me on Monday with a clear head. Made me feel so small and silly. I'm upset about it because she could have said the answer is yes/no, but I'll go into details on Monday. Sounds like a no really, but I've got all weekend to stew on it.
The new job would be so good for me, more hours, more pay and would get the constant moaning of needing to pay off the credit card off my back!

Maybe she really was just in a terrible mood due to the hangover or it had been a bad meeting for other reasons - although that's still no way to be treating a gentle enquiry. And what an unprofessional sounding thing to say. I'm not surprised you were blindsided by it,

Honestly, would you believe it? She's been perfectly fine with me for the past 5 months. It probably was down to the hangover, but have a heart!

10 days down, 25 to go! My black work trousers felt very baggy today. The waist is still ok, so these ones shouldn't fall down just yet!
Aside from my earlier disappointment, it's not been too bad a day. I had a bar for lunch today as I'd met my cousin for lunch instead of coming home. I did find I wanted my next shake earlier than usual though.
Onwards and downwards I say!

Silly woman!! Shouldn't of been drinkin on a school night anyway!!! ;)

Have a lovely day today xxx

It's so true stef. I wouldn't dream of being at work, but unable to do my work. Have a good day yourself.

Just caught up on your diary properly, well done on sticking with exante you are doing so well.
And as for the woman at work! How ridiculous and unprofessional!
Have a great weekend and try not to let that play on your mind :)

Thanks slaj, really appreciate that. I'm meeting diem in London tomorrow, and that's way too exciting to let the work thing get me down!
