Stay away from the scales missy lol you have had a good day food wise and as kel says it could be water. There is only 1 set of scales that count.

Your little one learns quick lol mummy is at his beck and call. Did they give him any pain relief hun?
 
I know I need to stop weighing but it really is an addiction lol.

He's got antibiotics to make sure a the infection had gone and just Calpol and Ibuprofen at intervals until the pain stops.

Apparently, although he can't get it wet for 6 months, the pain should start subsiding in a few weeks. So lovely few weeks ahead until that happens lol x
 
Awww bless him i dont envy you. Hopefully the antibiotics and the calpol will help quickly.

Your right it is an addiction - i do it every day lol sometimes 3 or 4 times then other times only once

I've tried only weighing in work as I don't have scales at home anymore but now I'm helping to care for Dad the scales are in my parents bathroom as it's so tempting to jump on every time I have a pee! Lol x
 
Lol yeh I would too. I would feel like id have my legs chopped off if I couldnt use mine every day ( Id weigh lighter though with no legs lol)

OMG! Feel asleep last night at 9! Must be getting old!

In a way, I think the serial weighing also helps to keep me on track as if I see a gain, I try to use less syns and eat more superfree x
 
Manic day! Not had time to stop. Unfortunately Dad has an infection in his wounds so had to go back to the hospital to get strong antibiotics, few days to give them a chance to work or it's back to theatre to re-open the wound and clean it. Fingers crossed the tablets work!

On another note, kids say the cutest things! My lil boy told me I'm his bestest friend today. So cute and made me smile all day :)

So food:
HExA = Nothing
HExB = 2 slices of wholemeal bread from a 400g loaf

BREAKFAST:
HExB with chopped banana and honey (3 syns)

LUNCH:
Leftover rice with peas and sweetcorn from last night

DINNER:
Spicy SW wedges

SNACKS:
Tangerine
Strawberries and Mullerlight

SYNS:
2x Fisherman Friends (0.5 syns)

TOTAL SYNS = 3.5 SYNS

EXERCISE = 30 min Curves workout

Bit of a carb heavy day today but TOTM is due and I always crave carbs then. And going to the gym is making me starving! Lol

Here's hoping for a good loss to get my 3 and a half stone award on Thursday. Scales still showing a 1lb gain :-(. I know I shouldn't weigh but it's devils advocate really as now I have weighed and seen a gain, I want to keep weighing to check the gain has gone! Lol x
 
Im the same with the scales then I can gauge how im doing and pull back a little if i have to. Sorry to hear about ya dad hun I hope the tablets work. Despite that you have still had a good day with your food and Thurs will be a good WI.

OMG! I know TOTM is due and I've been going to the gym and my instructor said I may hold water for a few day to repair the muscles, but the bloating I have is unbelievable!

I look and feel huge! Have been and bought some water tablets hoping to flush me out a little. I just don't know what is going on!

Food:
HExA = 175ml Whole Mill
HExB = 2x Wholemeal bread

BREAKFAST:
HExB toasted and topped with banana and honey (3 syns)

LUNCH:
2 eggs, mushrooms and brown sauce (1 syn)
SW Rice Pudding made with HExA - a recipe I have to thank Texty for! :)

DINNER:
Stir fry - cabbage, broccoli, carrots, red and white onion, sweet pepper, spring onion, mushrooms, garlic, ginger and a little cajun spice for seasoning.

SYNS:
Oak cake (2 syns) with Marmite

TOTAL SYNS = 6 SYNS

EXERCISE = 30 min Curves workout

Foods that help flush out water are grapefruit juice, lemon water, asparagus, papaya, pineapple, parsley and ginger. Avoid high sodium foods. Excess sodium causes the cells to hold on to water like a sponge. Limit processed foods, gravies, salted meats, soy sauce.

Drink plenty of water if you are aware that your fluid retention is due to premenstrual syndrome, too much salt in your diet or another minor cause. You may feel that you have enough water in your body already, but being well hydrated will help you flush out excess water instead of storing it in your body.



I hope your rice pudd turned out ok lol xx

Thanks hun. I do love salt as well which isn't great but had lots of ginger in my stir fry so hopefully it'll counteract it! The water tablets seem to be working as well - back and forth the loo! Lol

Rice pud was a tad dry - think I put too much rice in too little milk so I added a vanilla mullerlight when it was cooked. V.yummy! Not quite like Mam's but definitely hits the spot! Thank you!

I never thought I'd be able to wear a pair of jeans all day and be comfortable. I normally only wear jeans to the pub or something and spend all night tugging them up. BUT... I've worn a pair of size 14 skinny jeans all day today, pottering around the house AND they're a tad big! The front by the pockets actually sags cos they are big :). Small victories but am really pleased, shows me how far I've come in a small way. :)

Drinks - have a friend coming over tonight so will be using the rest of my syns in Vodka. Have allocated myself 4x 25ml measures of vodka which would be 10 syns. I intend to stick to this as it's WI day tomorrow...

No exercise today, having a rest day as arms are v.sore! :)

Argh just weighed as it's official WI tonight and I'm showing a STS!

I've stuck to plan 100% and have even joined the gym and been 5 times this week!

And I 'feel' slimmer - how can that be?!

So annoyed :-(
 
2lb off for me this week and I had my 3 and a half stone award! So pleased :)

Takes me to 12stone dead - into the 11's next week :).
