Just back from taking Hugo to his last doggy school lesson. Bless him, he really is very obedient (when it suits him), he is just scared and lashes out. We've decided not to take him again as, although I'm sure the guy knows what he is on about, it isn't the right place really. He is already obedient, so taking him to obedience lessons is kinda pointless. Yes, it got him around other dogs, but in a church hall, not allowed off the lead. Not exactly an every day situation, is it?
I think him and his behaviour is something we are just going to have to live with. When he has his ball, he is totally focused on the ball, and is fine. If we take him out without the ball, he isn't allowed off the lead. Simples. Yes he barks at the postman. So what? When people come round he makes a fuss, but he is no danger to them (unless they are burglars!).
Him and dude were on the sofa together earlier. Granted, I was on the sofa too, but is was progress. Hugo means no harm to Dude, he just wants to chase him and play! Alas, Dude doesn't want to play, so bats him on the nose!
Much better mood today. But hungry, so making SW chips in a mo with leeks, then cake baking, dog walking, picking him indoors up, then having a nice relaxing evening in.
