Oh yes I'm on my way :D. Your table will be heaving with lovely food!

I'm going non Christmassy - cheese twists and antipasto, then fish cakes with spinach, and chocolate brownie pud. And wine, don't forget the wine! :)

Well wine goes without saying.

Have a great Christmas everyone

Hand waving in the air...me me me me..I want a spare seat please :D Have a wonderful Christmas Tippy XX

Good morning everyone. Possibly a long post.
I've read back over my past few pages and I seem to have been moaning a lot as well as not making any effort to lose weight and today is preparation day for day one which starts tomorrow.

Back is still sore but will give it another few days and then go to doctor or acupuncture or osteopath. I'm not sure anything can really be done about it other than rest it.

I have had a mountain of food and drink over the past three days and now feel hugely bloated. Want to sort out the kitchen and leftovers today and I will weigh and measure tomorrow and start afresh with great intentions, there may be a new years eve or day break but a break only.

Still haven't heard back from the pre Xmas interview but am assuming its not mine and moving on. I have an IT test for another job in two weeks and need to brush up on MS Access. I told you about our garden project, well I posted on the Wwoof site and have volunteers sorted for mid January to end of May. So our garden will get sorted and become productive again. Hopefully that will also help both with fitness and fresh food too.

We had a nice family Christmas, food, wine and boardgames. All seemed happy with their presents. I got Jamie Olivers super foods, two CDs, tickets for a musical and a leaf blower (I asked for one after the last storm). I managed to finish mermaid blanket and daughter 2 loves it. But daughter 1 gave us the best present, baby Oscar gave us a Christmas card with "love from Oscar and bump".... Yep....we are having a new grand baby. Not until August and I've ordered a pink one with blond hair. I've also told them all that someone else will have to cook next Christmas as I will be busy with baby cuddles. I had been thinking about making a mermaid blanket for daughter one as well and then announced its a good job I didn't as it is a whale she would need now rather than a mermaid.

That's about it from me today, I still can't drive or sit for any amount of time but hoping to go for a walk soon. Its sunny out so i might take Oscar and the dog and let us all have a dose of happy sunshine

Oh many congratulations on your new grandchild, Tipp, what a lovely surprise :).

Sounds like a really nice Christmas all in all, apart from your back. Good luck with the job test!

Well ate a decent amount of good food today but no over indulging in bad things. Have had a lot of bread over the lsdt four days and am very bloated and full of wind, lots of which got "released" today. I've had some herbal tea which hopefully will help things along.
No alcohol today at all, lots of water and herbal tea and then alcohol for weekends or very special meals.
No walk after all today as ended up trying to clear out more of the stream with husband, the fresh air was good though.

Morning its 7:30am, I'm awake but not up yet. Planning my food day. I think a smoothie with all my extras while the porridge is cooking. We have lots of veg left so maybe a veg and skinny noodle stir fry with a teeny bit of seasame oil and some cashew nuts. I think I will go vegan again but weekdays only, eggs allowed at the weekend and maybe some chicken every now and then (such as other peoples houses or eating out neither of which I do very much). I also need to make sure I always have some soup made as this stops me reaching for crackers and other nibbles.
Will go through the superfoods book again today, I think it has a recipe for porridge bars which would be handy to have.
Talk to you all on the other side of the scales.

Good luck on going vegan again. I can't do it as I can't eat beans or too much veg. I also love white meat and fish.:)

3 more days before I face the scales so going to try and be good for those days.

Thanks all, weigh in wasn't good but not quite as bad as it could have been, 2kg up...I'm glad I started today and not waited until 1st January. Though this week will be more a get ready phase as there will be some celebrations for new year

So the scales said 75.2kg which is a BMI if 32.98. Not good numbers but not hugely frightening.
Was very very cold this morning so did start with porridge rather than smoothie.
Watching TV and knitting...ITV 3, so old but comfortable viewing.

Will update ticker later and set new goals and timelines. As usual this will be my daily rant and actual food diary in the members diary section Tipperary is shrinking.

Hi tipperary, sounds like you had a lovely Christmas and congratulations on the baby news! I am also back on track now, no point in waiting until January stuffing my face as I go. Best of luck with everything, 2018 is going to be a good year :)

Thanks Clareel, you too

Setting goals
Goal one to be under 68 kg which is over weight instead of obese.
Trying to get here by Easter

Goal two to be under 58 kg which is normal weight
Trying to get here by December

My ticker has been updated and so has the info in my profile which means I have lost my red crown again and need to try to get it back.

I've also got a new hardback diary for 2018 and put my weight goals into it and drawn up pages to keep track of weight change, food and exercise so all set to go...almost, I still haven't cleaned the kitchen so no space yet to prepare food and cook.

Morning, happy here this morning as a chunk of weight dropped.
I did have a mince pie last night and then a mini galaxy bar going to bed. I have myself convinced that a piece of chocolate at bedtime helps me sleep....OK I need tobtalk myself out of that but I did sleep 11pm to 7:30am.
