To the top of the mountain.. and beyond!!

Went to the gym after work... soon as i walked in my foot hurt, tried the treadmill but it hurt too much so came off after 18 mins... did a lil bit on the rower but was hurting so im home feeling really frustrated!!

Yeah think i overdid it yesterday!

Plan tomorrow is to walk to the next village and back again, about 4 miles each way.. although im not really sure never done it before!! Fingers crossed the weather is dry

Sound fun I actually love going for walks xx
 
Day 6 :)

Just had my porridge, gonna set off about 10 for my walk. No idea how long its gonna take... 3 hours perhaps?

Gonna have a lil cooking afternoon then, make a batch of curry and chilli

Need to get my floors mopped as well and depending how my foot is may do my DVD - although i think that was the cause of the pain!

My first graze box has arrived too.. exciting :)
 
Gotta do it today as its my day off.. really struggle to exercise on days i work as i do 10 hr shifts, plus travelling time... i either have to get up and be in the gym when it opens or its closed when i finish, or im too shattered to go after an early start! nightmare! make the most of it when i can xx

Worked out i walked 15 km, been looking through my guide and on average I will be walking 8-10km a day.. so distance wise i know where im at.. its just the altitude and twice as slow, plus inclines to contend with

I guess walking on the treadmill at the gym on a high incline is going to help however the altitude part....

What's the total distance you will be walking when you get to Mount Kilimanjaro? x
 
Yep just a small "just" lol

im terrified about the altitude cos thats the one thing that could stop me from getting to the top! It would actually break my heart.
