To whom it may concern

Yesterday I was soooo lazy, I read a book, I nibbled on meat, I cooked nothing, ate a bit of cheese, had some chicken, phoned some friends, and had a good cry!! It was strange its not like I am even feeling down at the minute, in fact I feel very positive. Mind I did start my totm yesterday, and it will be my second this year, so could be that!!! Well today I am being more pro active, I took jack for a walk, only 2 miles and it was more a stroll with lots of stops while he admired other dogs!! But it got us out. X

Only two miles?! Sounds pretty good going to me - not everything has to be done at Olympic pace :D Sorry you felt a bit down yesterday, i did a bit too, blooming grim weather.

LOL on Jack admiring his doggy pals :D

Last night I found I actually love sprouts!! Not the mussy ones my mothers always cooks on Christmas Day, but the ones thrown in boiling water for 10 mins and then thrown in a frying pan with butter and sea salt and black pepper!! Yum is all I can say x

I bought a sewing machine yesterday, I have always wanted have no clue to use but I am going to learn!!

Food had a good day yesterday.

Bt
Breakfast scrambled eggs and bacon with 1/2 tomato roasted and some mushrooms in butter

Lunch was out getting a sewing machine so a few slices of roast chicken from a butchers

Dinner salmon with cauliflower and sprouts (the most amazing sprouts) x

Lots of water

Oooooo I'd forgotten about sprouts.

I hate them boiled but I love them fried up in butter - thank you for reminding me of this!

I'm always on my sewing machine. I are curtains and cushion covers and all sorts. Take it slow and you will be amazed how quick you get the hang of it.

Gosh I haven't had sprouts for years - but Meg your method sounds fab, will try this week!

I've wanted a sewing machine for ages, must ask on Freecycle :) Like Jonsgirl says, just take it slow - and look on You Tube for How To guides.

Well they have finally accepted the offer on the house I love!!! So hopefully soon I will be the proud owner of my own place. I drove there today and sat in the car looking at it. There is no chain on either side so hopefully it will go smoothly x

I hope susie will keep all fingers crossed x

I just tried fried mim!! Has what I thought was a genius idea to fry some in the bacon fat to make fried bread. It was nothing like bread but yummy in its own right! X had scrambled eggs on top x full and feel great x

Really hope it all goes through xxx fingers crossed!

That is a brainwave re frying the mim - I never thought of doing that! I used to love fried bread when I was a kid, so here's a low carb way :D

Excellent news! X

Well today me and soon to be ex husband sat Down to discuss practical things, I informed him my offer on the house was accepted, he seemed shocked!! So I suggested we put home on the market ASAP. He then got upset and accused me of rushing things!!!! He told me he is confused over feelings he still has for me. I again was firm, I told him I disliked him a lot at present for all he has put us through, and there was no way other than divorce. I am really angry at him, it's like he wants to keep me on the side in case this new relationship he has does not work out. I brought up the thorny subject of maintenance. At present he pays all the bills so have not expected anything, but when house sells I feel he should contribute. X

Food really good.

B- bacon, scrambled eggs and a fried mim.

L-5 thick slices of cold ham (rushed as ex was due to arrive)

D- tuna and mayo in iceberg lettuce leaves, wrapped.

Lots of water x

Really fancy chicken fajita!! I would make my own guacamole, with avocado, love sour cream and cheese, all I need is someone to tell me how to make low carb!! X

Your ex sounds like a real douchebag Meg!

I make my own guacamole. Half an avocado (with allowance) - mashed with a fork, add one clove of crushed garlic, squeeze of lime juice, extra virgin olive oil and salt. Mix well and dig in x

Oh Meg you are amazing, to have seen right through your ex's ploy like that!

I agree with Kell, what a complete douche he is. How dare he put you through all this pain and upheaval and think he can keep you dangling - obviously he doesn't know the new Meg at all! :D

And the new Meg is eating well, exercising, keeping happy and motivated, with a new home to look forward to and loads of new Mini friends to cheer you on! :D

Brilliant I am going shopping tomorrow so it will be my Friday night treat x it sounds amazing and I bet much better tasting than out of a jar!! X

You are both right he is a douche!!!! And he is not even that aware I am so different, he def does not see me the person! X

I love the support I get from mins, I have not told any off my friends or family about Atkins, I want them to notice and ask how I lost it to tell them x I have never eaten this healthy in my life. Neither has my son, he keeps checking labels for carbs when shopping. X thank you you all

Well done to you for seeing through your ex. You are moving on and making a new life for you and your son, new home , new job, new body, new outlook, new everything. He must feel sick as a dog that he let you go.

You should be so proud of yourself for what you've achieved.
