Thanks we've done the initial questionnaire . The Medicals etc. So now we wait for them to come and do the in depth visits, contact our referred and do the training course. We may have problems with that bit though as they are all on fri/sat and hubby can't change his Fridays as he teaches and there's no one to cover for him.
Do you know if you have to do the course before you start fostering or if it can be done once you start ?

We did our initial training before, there is a small amount of training b4 we did 4 full day's. This was to see what kind of people you are and to see if you have what it takes to foster, the work is not too taxing and Im sure the agency would be able to work around your hubby's work. There is then allot of work you do yourself at home, thread trough the needle of everything you have ever thought, said and done!! This builds up a profile of you and your family to give to panel. They are crying out for good foster carers so Im sure they could maybe do the initial training with you at home?? :D

I'm excited but also dreading the dredging up of info you thought you'd forgotten about. Hopefully we'll get through it. I'm sure I'll be yelling for some advice though

ok its the 3rd January 2012. Ive jsut updated my 2012 start weights on the goal thread.
I weight 14 stone 10 lbs.
Im a 16/18 in clothes depending on what type of outfit it is.
Ive been going for a walk each day but not sure I'll go today, its blowing a gale and throwing it down out there. Im not that brave. so I think I'll get the mini trampoline out today then I'll start 30 day shred tomorrow after kids go back to school and hubby goes to work.

Its not that bad, I guess when you are so determined to do it it is just part of the journey! and well worth it!! Think im a bit late for catching the band wagon but will let you know when i'm gonna get on!! lol

After my dilemma with the scales I lost 2 1/2 lb st sw tonight. :) so very happy. It makes my scales only 1 1/2 lb off by sw scales. However, as we weigh about 2-3 lb heavier at night than morning .....,, what would I have weighed on the sw ones if I'd got weighed on them this morning ??
Ridiculous really, still I'm not going to be controlled by them. I'm sticking to my resolution of using mine .

Well done thats amazing!! Think if you are doing too many things at once it could be confusing :confused: You have done amazing over christmas and new year, you need a pat on the back!! :patback:Well me i just need a kick up the backside :asskick:im on it tomorrow cant put this off anymore count me in!!
 
I really can't decide whether it's the end or not st sw . I can go next week but then I can't go for at least 3 weeks so maybe those weeks will tell

Well done on your loss, I think as you say the 3 weeks you can't go will show you whether you can go it alone or whether you need to go to group. I'll make sure I support you while you can't go xx

I feel sick tonight ! :( I'm sat on my tod in a slightly scruffy travelodge. I've had to eat a burger king for tea :( they're not my favourite at the best of times but there was absolutely nothing else apart from crisp etc in whsmith or costa coffee pastries :( I ended up eating the veggie bean burger :( I've no idea how many calories or fat ive eaten but I feel very guilty even though I didn't have any choice.

Can anybody find out for me please

Omg!! 20g of fat!!! That's hideous! I still took xen but I think I'll be ok overall, I had ham salad , 1/2 baguette and muller light for lunch. And breakfast I had my shake before I left home.
I've got the same lunch and breakfast tomorrow . Tea though will be at frankie and bennies when I get home for my daughters 18th birthday. At least I know I can have a lighter bites salad there otherwise I'm doomed

I think there are a few healthier options so should be ok.
I'm working. It's a good job. One day per week at home, 5 weekends over the year. £29 per hour :) :)
