Thanks hun! Bit late for that :) ive had a woeful day. I plan to do calorie counting tomorrow and thursday just to see how I get on. Friday will be off plan as will the weekend. But I am SO excited to get back on plan when we get back as it will only be 8 weeks till my holiday! Excited :) x

Thanks hun! I'm still here, we fly home
at 8pm tonight. I'm having a great time. It's OH's birthday today so we have a fun day planned - going on a huge ferris wheel, cinema and then a lovely lunch in a famous BBQ place in Leeds which we can't wait for. Having such a lovely time but I honestly cannot wait to get home ans get back to Slimming World and finally start losing weight again! :)

Thanks girls! I thought you would all appreciate the food porn. We went to an amazing Brazilian steakhouse, the weighter comes around with unlimited meat. Cool experience! Then we went to an amazing BBQ place yesterday and it was proper man vs food stuff. I had a sandwhich with pulled pork, beef brisket and slaw, a side of sweer potato fries and a side of 'pit beans' which were amaaaazing and spicy with bits of peppers, onions and pulled porks. It was incredible!! Anyone go to Leeds please go here. It's called redstruebarbaque. So tasty! Kind of mind-blowing really :)

Thanks for your kind comments, it was a lovely weekend. Very chilled out actually. Lovely meals, a few drinks but no wild nights out, and wandering around the amazing Leeds markets. Very relaxed which was lovely. We also done the tour of Leeds United Football Club and went on a massive ferris wheel for OH's bday where I sang happy birthday to him at the top of it and gave him a little birthday cupcake. It was hilarious because I was absolutely terrified up there but a plan is a plan.

All in all a wonderful weekend and I got home SO ready to properly comit myself to Slimming World :)
 
Today's Food Diary...

Breakfast - ready brek (hexb) with hex a milk and mixed berries.

Lunch - weight watcher medditeranean vegetable soup (5 syns) and sweet and sour mugshot. It seems crazy that I had to give that soup 5 syns but when we got back from Leeds we had bear minimum food in the apartment so I grabbed what I could for lunch in work today. Thankfully we've been shopping today.
a kiwi, fat free rasberry yoghurt

Dinner - Slimmer's choice curry (1.5) with turkey, peppers, butternut squash, onion, mushrooms and green beans served with basmati rice (1)

Snack - little bag of grapes, little fruit pot. Both from m&s. half of a purple snack bar (3).

HexA - milk in tea.
HexB - ready brek.

Syns - 10.5

I am so amazingly proud of myself for having a proper 100% day. So so happy!! I am finally back :)

Off to read my book in bed x
 
Morning Everyone!


I'm so happy it's Wednesday already. I love short weeks (it was a bank holiday here on Monday). I'm feeling happy and prepared today and there is nothing that's going to stand in my way! Funny little thought, for ages I would always just have two HexB and sort of convince myself it was OK to have ready brek and bread later. So now I'm accustomed to that. Yesterday I found it difficult not having bread having already had my ready brek for breakfast but I resisted temptation and actually... followed the plan.

Today I know that I'm having a wholemeal pitta with dinner and that'll be my HexB today so I had to sacrifice for breakfast. I ended up having fruit with yoghurt and it was lovely! I have a nice filling lunch for today too so if I get hungry sooner I'll be nice and full up before I know it.

Having chicken 'burgers' today using Smash coated 'kfc' style chicken on a pita with salad and HexB cheese. Excited! :) I also plan to do a nice walk after work. I know I'll be tired after work but I could potentially be finished work, finished my walk and sitting down to dinner at 7pm which is a lovely thought. Relaxing evenings rock my world.

I've had a great day again. I've went over my syns by a few which was not planned but I think I handled it very well. I'll reel it in a little bit tomorrow and all will be well with the world. I had bought a curly wurly to have in the evening with my mug of tea and then my cousins showed up with mini brownies and ice-cream and I decide to have a little of that instead of the curly wurly. I was a bit tempted to still have the bar when they left but I knew that would be very stupid.

Anyway, here is today's food diary.

Breakfast - fat free natural yoghurt with grapes and grapefruit.

Lunch - pasta with peppers, broccoli, rocket, sweercorn, ham, pesto (2) and hexA cheese. Popcorn (5) fat free yoghurt and a pear.

Dinner - turkey breast with smash 'breadcrumbs', light mayo (1) bbq sauce (1) wholemeal pitta bread (hexB), lettuce, tomato, bit of cheese (2) and gherkins. 2 roast potatoes (2) and ketchup (1).

Dessert - 2 mini thorntons brownies (6) with a little scoop of ice-cream (2)

HexA - milk in tea x 2
HexB - wholemeal pitta bread
Syns - 22

I went over by 7 syns, whoopsie. I don't feel too bad about it though because for the syns it cost me the dessert was absolutely minute!

I also went for a 45 minute walk today which felt very good. Hooray! X

Plan for tomorrow - well I know I'm having the m&s take-away meal for dinner which is 8 syns so realistically I need to not really have any syns tomorrow. That's the plan and I'll be sticking to it. Tomorrow will be a syn-free day until I get home and devour the yummy meal.

You'll be able to claw those syns back no problem :D Plus, I bet it's an improvement from what you were eating whilst off plan! Which day do you weigh in now? xx
 
Oh it's a MAJOR difference. I'm like a different person now. It feels great!

I weighed in yesterday morning so i think I'll stick to that for the next few weeks and see how it goes. I want to lose a stone before I return to my SW group because then I know I'm making progress. Can't handle seeing the same number again, and paying to see it!
