Extra Easy Days Trefoil's Trip To Target!

Couple of pictures... Still filling in my diary I bought as a present to myself for my 1/2 stone loss. This is what it said on this week's page. Love it.

Love my diaries! This one is a 26 week one and then I have my SW journal that I got for buying my countdown so definitely keeping me going...
Also, I had one dress in my wardrobe that I couldn't get into, well I am in it!

Love the dress Ruth- you're looking fab ;) so satisfying as your wardrobe contents get more accessible!
I remember when I first started SW and as well as the usual 'I want to be healthier' and 'I want to feel more confident' reasons we often have for losing weight, a major one for me was 'I want to walk to my wardrobe and pick anything to wear, without worrying or excluding stuff that doesn't fit'.
I will get there again!
Your greek salad looks lush- I forget about feta, and you can have so much for a hexa!

Thank you! It is such a lovely dress- it's taken a while to fit as it relies on the front fitting properly to do up, and that's where I have the issues haha! I'm sure you will get there again no problem at all!
Oooh it was very nice indeed and so tasty! It tasted so fresh!! Might actually make it again tomorrow as a bit of a treat!

I hope that you've had a lovely day!

Right- been invited out for dinner tomorrow with friends, to a Chinese restaurant.
Chicken in oyster sauce (I love that!) sounds like a safe bet with boiled rice or something similar. I'm going with a vegetarian and someone that is a confectioner (parties at her house are always gluttonous!) but I will control it properly :) it is normally an all you can eat but I'm not a fan of that anyway so if that's all they're doing I'm sure I can speak to them for something else!
Going to scan my eating out section in the back of my book...

Have been a bit crippled by period pain today... I hate to moan about things like this! I normally take mefanamic acid as I have an IUD Copper Coil (sorry if too much tmi!) but I appear to have run out. I'm actually having it changed on 23rd so next Thursday so they won't give me any more painkillers! Booo

Anyway therefore, my dinner ended up being like this
image.jpeg
5x Mini Kievs (7.5)
Beans with Spices
Homemade Chips with Smoked Paprika
Mixed Veg
Hot Sauce (1.5)

These are the only things I keep in the freezer for emergencies. Om nom nom. 1.5 Syns. Best. Things. Ever.

Hmmmm.
Bit of a funny evening....
One of the ladies that I go to group with posted that she is selling her Fitbit so I asked to buy it off her. She asked to meet me at Harrogate Parkrun (a 5k Saturday morning run on a large patch of grass surrounding Harrogate called the Stray) so I agreed, and then asked if I would run it...
Haven't run since pre accident and since I stopped smoking! Not even sure I can do it. I declined it. However it's something to think about! I feel quite bad and would love to give it a go, but I know I can't do it so I feel a bit rubbish :/

Oh your tea looks good.. proper comfort food! Don't feel bad about complaining, period pain is horrid!
I tried mefenamic acid and it made me feel so sick- good that you can take it but rubbish that you're run out. If there's a boots/chemist near you grab some paracetamol with codeine (good for period pain, rubbish for headaches).
Jealous of your fitbit!! Do you think you might like to take running up again? Start off slowly if you haven't done it for a while. C25k is brill for easing in. Some say their losses slow a bit when they start exercising but I think if you take it steady it should be ok- something to do with water retention in your (overworked) muscles. So if you stretch etc and go carefully it shouldn't affect.
*Off to google fitbits*
Have a good day! X

It was very nice food indeed!! Yummy!!
I nipped and got myself some paracetamol with codeine today before work- thanks for the tip!
Yes I think I would love to take up running again, with the key word being slowly! I couldn't sort my breathing out at all before- which I attributed to smoking and having quite a large front. (Haha!) not sure if the second one is true.... I do go to the gym and walk on really high inclines but can only manage high bursts of 1 min and 20 minutes overall before I have to stop because my knees hurt! I was thinking of getting closer to target before I started, sort of more to tone up really :) will see how it goes though!
I hope that you've had a good day! I'm so excited about getting my Fitbit! There's so many to choose from :)

Had a really good day and went out to the Chinese restaurant. I was late because my train was late, so when I got there it turned out my friend had brought her partner and child too (my other friend had got the wrong Thursday and didn't show), and her child was acting up (as 5 year olds do) so the atmosphere was really tense and frosty!!
They questioned why I didn't have a starter... So I told them. Then I ordered boiled rice, chicken, beansprouts and mixed veg in oyster sauce (it's an all you can eat) and they said I had ordered too much. Obviously can't win haha!
Anyway I carried on. But what a strange evening. Bit put off to be honest but the food was still nice! Lots of broccoli, veggies and ginger :)

Can't wait to sleep now, really tired!

Sounds like you made a really wise choice at the Chinese- well done!
And as for not being able to win, I can definitely relate to that. When people don't understand SW, they can't see how you can eat so much when you're 'dieting'- my OH was exactly the same, to the point we *almost* had a row once  he was saying I was eating more than I did pre-SW! When he saw the weight dropping off, he was dying to know the secret lol. He went on SW to lose weight for his stag do in Ibiza & the wedding, and actually loved it.
He's unhappy in his current job and is a classic comfort eater, so I'm leaving him to it til he starts his new job in August- when I hope he will jump back on the wagon ;)
Could it be the salt causing the indigestion? Sounds like you need some Rennie to go with your codeine lol you poor thing.

Thanks very much for the kind comment regarding the food choice! To be honest it was the only thing not deep fried and fairly light! I was still hungry afterwards though which was rubbish :/
My OH is only just starting to understand SW and pushes me to eat all my meals and questions me if I don't eat enough haha! Bless him I'm sure your OH will get back on it in August, good luck to him on his new job!
I got my wheatbag out and it went off but yes I think it was salt, it was horrid. It reminded me of when I used to overeat and binge :(
I hope that you've had a wonderful day! I have been so busy, I need to check everyone's diaries!!
