Hey went well Shanny :) altho the twins are ill, vomiting temp u name it! They went to a friends bday party on Saturday and it seems a lot of people who went have got the same. I'm off today with them poor things. Been up all night so pretty grumpy.

Well I'm 2lbs down but 1lb overall, still better than sts. Anyway decided not to sulk about it and assume my first week loss was 8lbs cos it was lol and week 2 started yesterday. Can't be bothered with mid week weigh ins.
UP day today so have to try not to go too mad!

Thanks Ruth :) they are a bit better now. I dunno about great losses was down to 227 then 230 and now 228! Wanna get lower than 227 cos haven't been able to for a while.

Thank you lovely ladies! :) ur support means a lot to me as I don't really like talking about it to my friends and family. My family are very critical about my weight and always have been so I don't like telling them anything as I know their response will always be 'well you'll only put it back on again!'.
Anyway slight dilemma, firstly I have my best mate's bday on Sunday which will involve quite a lot of food and drink as she's a big girl and although I wanted to tell her about my plan I think she feels as if we would break our friendship if I lost weight. Sounds weird but think she wants me to stay fat and get as big as her and panics if I mention I'm trying to lose weight.
So Sunday is a DD. Im considering doing two down days until Sunday so I can enjoy myself as I really don't wanna do a ID again.
Secondly my sister and her babies are coming all the way from Australia to stay for a few months. She's staying with my mum but again I dunno how to adapt the plan and not make them think something is up if I refuse to eat one day and then do the next. I will be with her everyday when the kids break up for summer hols so dunno how to deal with that. Can't risk another binge.

The good part for today is its Friday! Woo! Lol and I'm only 0.8 up from my indulgent UP day yesterday. :)
 
Firstly I would do the 2 DDs if it makes you feel better about having an UP UP day on Sun x About the other issue, I would get as much info on alternate day dieting as you can and print it off or store it as favourites on your PC , when your sister arrives you should have lost more weight, so when questions arise you can casually say you have adopted a new way of eating, how much you have lost and how it works etc. I honestly think spilling the beans will be your best bet otherwise all your good work is at jeopardy ;)
 
Thanks for the advice Jo. Trouble is I dunno if I can last another DD. Will try not to go mad tho and have a good go at making tomorrow a DD or just 1000 cals maybe.
I don't think my sis or the others will get this plan, they aren't open to new things as it is lol. They all just say eat less and don't understand it's a bit more complicated than that! I'm actually quite worried cos like you said it will ruin all my hard work so might have to let them know. I just know I'm doing this for me this time and I've gotta look to the future which means JUDDD and nothing I can control will sabotage this now! :)

Lost the 0.8lb gain after DD so till 227. Bit down about it all now, trying for another DD but in a foul mood already :(
Think it's all slowing down.

Obviously you know them best and I feel for you as you need to have them onside, this diet does seem a bit whacky to most I suppose but its just the way we used to eat and how wild animals eat its natural and it works. Really don't know how else you are going to get away with eating so little every other day without them noticing??? Hope you work it out hun. Hope you have a good day x

I really feel for you hun, and the only thing I can suggest is sticking to veg - salads and soups - and just saying to people that you're trying to eat more healthily? And having a little, but often, so people see you eating something regularly?
