Re bars, had a look online and don't think my tesco do BL bars anyway (just shakes) so shall try both raspberry and choc Tesco ones! Really hope they work for me cos they're soooo much cheaper than LP. And they somehow feel more 'acceptable' if eating in company - how daft is that! But I know you's'll understand how folk are too quick to go on about being obsessed! Obsessed I may be - but with maintaining, not with losing (I wish lol, I'm still at top of BMI healthy anyway).

We all understand your obsessivenes with maintaining - i think we all have a bit of it, if we didn't we'd be right back at the start before TFR!

Are the bars 2 for £3.50 at your tesco?
Here they have been on that offer for months and as far as I can see are going to be on that offer for a while which is good news isnt it! :D x
 
Sorry to hear you had such pain. You have such a good humour despite it all.
I always carry a couple of Nakd bars in my bag. The 68g bars are very wholesome and filling. They easily substitute for lunch or breakfast. Tesco do them. They come in various flavours. I get apple, mixed berry or the coco loco ones. They have about 220 cals but no nasty ingredients to leave you hungrier than before you started.

Molly I'll def look out for them and try them! That's my main concern really, fulfilling and not hunger inducing meal alternatives! I'm really struggling just now with carbs, I end up hungrier after a meal than when I started...

Really need to look more into this GI/GL - I have got a book but couldnt get my head round it - plus the good ingredients I wud struggle to cook with, seeing as I have to minimise both standing over cooker or moving as much as possible and find it very difficult to prepare meals - hence simply bunging sweet potatoes in the oven so often lol. Time to research again tho - I do admit when I have brown rice, the difference in after-hunger is noticeable but that and sweet rather than normal potato is the extent of my knowledge! Lol I can't keep avoiding carbs in 2 meals a day every weekday for ever, in order to compensate for weekend carbs in more meals. Getting a bit worried I'm heading back to a starve/binge cycle again - just cos it works on scales doesn't mean it works for my body health! Need to form better longterm habits...

Of course from the security of TFR I think 'if I can do this I can just have a little bit/drop of what I want' but I ended up what I call 'stuffing or starving' not literally obviously but you know what I mean, last time so who's to say this time'll be any different?

I am full of admiration for Molly who really seems to have it sorted - in the head department too! :sigh: what are we like!! xx

Spot The Fud - DOH Bird forgot to take stuff out freezer AGAIN ... Hence reason for menu plan not being ideal today:-

D: ham, chicken salad wm sandwich, WW tomato soup, fromage frais
D: maint whip
S: snack a jacks, hot choc, pear

and probly an ice lolly or two - it's sooo hot here today!

Will drop a maint product and be back to breakfast porridge/berries 2moro!

Hungry starving ravenous!

Damn carbs - i wasn't even hungry before my sammich'es but since then, i cud eat my way thru fridge door and all the Tupperware and silver foil on foody woody yummi'ness inside (screw the electric shocks on tooth fillings). Just had to trough snack a jacks and cos of using carbs to feed carb hunger am now even hungrier (if that is even possible) DOH!

This can't be right surely ... I can't (and won't) have a carb free diet but god, I'm struggling so much with them!

haha your carbage thing is too true! I am the exact same - its strange isnt it. I know if I have bread it sets off a trigger for me to want to eat everything else in sight - not sure why as im not hungry, really I should avoid it but its too damn nice isnt it!! :giggle:

How about changing the carbs you have? How about getting them from things like wm rice/pasta and beans? x
 
It's just not fair is it? How are we ever supposed to establish a healthy balanced diet if one of the main food groups sets off this kind of thing? :( As Tan says maybe the answer lies in the type of carbs, though I for one wouldn't like to think I'd never be able to have bread again ... try spelt bread, it's very nice and maybe different for you? I've only found it in Asda up to now but they must stock it elsewhere ... just a thought. Hope things are easier for you soon :eek: xx
 
There is definitely a link with bread! I do tend to try avoid bread as much as poss during weekdays (she says after posting 2 days menus in a row with wm bread lol) - and crisps - even if they r snack a jacks! Aaaarrrrggggghhhh lol Maybe should stock up on wm pitta again - still bread but not usually as bad for me! As for pasta, it does the same to me - albeit wg rice seems ok, but I couldn't eat that often cos I don't often do sauces and couldn't eat it dry!

Need to rethink tho, and as I said yesterday, need to do more GI/GL research! Till then, sweet potatoes... Lol. Except I lie cos hubby now off till Tuesday (huge excitement cos he usually works 6 days a week; and spends huge amounts of evenings on rehearsals/gigs) so we're going to garden centre for plants and lunch 2moro (which has to mean Brie and bacon panini). Then it'll be Friday and that means weekend lol.

Anyway, glugged a ton of water and smoked about a hunnerd fags to suppress binge desire! Can't wait till about 8pm when I'll get my chic whip - that'll deal with hunger sating I'm sure - wonderful stuff that! Lol

S: 3 orange ice lollies, snack a jacks, bit of The ConChild's beans of toast (not much, just a forkful cos he 'selfish' lol); part of a Lindor egg (don't ask!)
D: waiting on hubby txt'g to say he nearly home (with his post-rehearsal take away) so I can ram a maintenance bar down me before he arrives, in the hopes i dont steal too much of said take away)

Cals - scooby - a'int got one! But don't think it too bad really! Guess around 1200!

It soooooo was delish! Oozing melted brie and Cranberry tho annoyingly light on the bacon front! Hmphh lol

Giving up waiting now.. Gonna have cuppa and maint bar b4 it's gets even later!
 
WI day today - havent done it on WII but my scales are usually 0.5lb heavier than WII so with that scientific theorem, Easter weekend gain gone and I'm back down to 11st 8 - thank god! Just as well, cos another holiday weekend starts now... lol
