So... its the big 30 tomoz and its actually quite a big deal. Not the getting old part of it but because I made a bit of a deal with myself on my 29th birthday, and I'm so happy to stay i've stuck to my side
I made a decision to not spend my 30th birthday overweight or unhappy in my body. Don't get me wrong I was never miserable being larger, just not exactly happy, too hot out here to be carrying 3 stone extra. So I set myself a 52 week SW style plan, lose 1lb a week and that target will be easy. Aiming to be back down to my wedding weight of 11st 11lbs.
Anyway 3 months later, still hadn't lost a lb, so gave myself a talking to and wrote myself a letter. Why I should lose weight and by when...
So its day 1! I want to be happy with my body in time for my 30th birthday so that’s 277 Days -- or -- 39 Weeks and 4 Days… I had better get cracking!
On that day I weighed in at 15 stone, with the following measurements:
Chest - 43
Waist - 40
Hips - 47
So anyway, I really meant it, I really really wanted to lose weight. Whip forward 3 months, and oh whoops I've lost about 3lbs
So, I had 10 weeks left before my 30th birthday, there was only 1 solution. A VLCD, did some research and chose CWP. Started on the 7th of August and the rest, as they say is history
I weighed myself this morning and weighed 11st 11bs, I kid you not
And here are my measurements as of just a second ago:
Chest: 38
Waist: 33
Hips:38
I'm so happy to have done this for myself, I'm not at the end yet, still have a little way to go and then the mission of working back up the steps (properly) and eventually maintaining this weight, but so far, so good.
Oh and I got my haircut today too... I should have smiled, I am really happy with it
