It might do you good making food a no go area for a while, it's so easy picking at the leftovers isn't it. That's what I struggle with too. Throwing that last half of the White chocolate magnum in the bin nearly killed me....

I'm day 4 of ss. Having a hard day today, between the magnums and the breakfast sandwiches everyone had at work... It's all psychological though eh? Early night will help I think x

So day 1 ss nearly over :) The kids had take out pizza and I had a sparkling water and was fine with it. No I don't want just a slice, yes it will make a difference, thanks mummy friends. One of my besties is also on a rather extreme diet so no issue from her which makes life easy. This defo feels like the right thing to do to get my head back in the right place.

I can really see how people can fall off the wagon, ok so I 'just' had half a peach and some veggies not on the ss list but already that became normal, next step would have been even more relaxed and so on and do forth until just one slice of pizza wouldn't hurt, know what I mean? I'm so glad I nipped it in the bud basically :)
Hope I don't sound too much like a crazy lady obsessing here? Thing is this diet is too expensive to not do properly.

Ok rant over, going to have my bedtime bat. Ttfn x
 
All good today, day one was fine, was v hungry in the eve but just necked a tonne of water and went to bed! Day 2 today, all good so far, had a strawb shake for brekkie and just had a choc bar for lunch, bloody yummy. I'll miss my choc fix when I leave cambridge!
 
Ok so ss didn't last but my mindset has been changed. Its still 35ish here and I bike everywhere with my 2 yar old on the back. Yesterday I stick to it and didn't feel hungry but I felt ill. Had a major dizzy spell on the bike and just felt like sh1t all day so decided to go straight back to ss+ but actually stick to it properly. Had grilled chicken and courgettes and slept at 9pm zzzzz. So anyway, all good this morning (my official WI) have lost another 3lbs :) so have lost half a stone since being back in the largest sand pit in the world, and less than a stone till target! Onwards and upwards it is then! Taraaaaa x
 
Another top notch ss+ day :) are out AGAIN but just hd grilled chicken breast and cucumber. Weighed in today and have lost 3lbswhich is grand. Starting to think I may have to lower my target though, well wait til I get ro it and re evaluate! X
 
Just been having a think about life after cambs, I've only got 5 weeks full supply left then that's it, nothing left except the real world and the lessons I've learnt. And I know not to come straight off of course so should I stay working my way back up plan soon? Honestly I don't want to yet as its all fine like this, but I have no choice. I'm on ss+ now but have skimmed milk in 3 or 4 coffees a day and have done since end of week one. So I'm probably close enough to step 2 already, but I don't want to cut a cd product out yet though :( also I'm only 12lbs from my original target but I would actually like to lose more now, so whatever eating plan I chose after cambs needs to be a weight loss plan rather than maintenance. Booo why isn't there just a cdc here! X
 
Hey Vi how you doing toots? I know what you mean about not being sure when to start coming up the steps. I've been thinking about it a lot lately as well, obv I won't need to for a couple months yet, but I am wondering how easy it's going to be to start introducing "real" food again. Why not chat to your CDC about it? xxx
 
Hello love how are ya? All good here ta, I've decided to finish this week on ss+ and start step 3 next week which is nice timing as have friends from uk coming so can be a bit more lenient (within cd limits) I haven't really got a cdc you see, had one in uk but just brought loads of cd stuff back with me. No cdcs in egypt :( not yet, maybe I should become one! So anyway, yay to fruit next week, can't wait! What day do u weigh in? X
 
Just ate my last bar eeeeeek! Friends arriving on 11th with supplies, until then I shall be feeling sorry for myself :boohoo:

So today made the decision to move into step 3!
Ran it if bars last night and never up for a shake in eve so took it as an opportunity. So far so good, went for the fruit throughout the day option instead of breakfast so had my shake, the obligatory 2 coffees and a plum! Bloody gorgeous it was too :) just having a cup of tea now, think this should be ok although I'll miss my bar in the eve.

I'm going to save the rest of my fruit allowance for bedtime so I can swap bar for fruit. I'm gonna go pick me a juicy mango, I'm definitely far too excited about this. Ahem.... YUM x

Breaky - Choc Mint shake & 2 plums ooooooo Yum!
Luncheon - Strawb shake and 2 cucumbers
Din Dins - Tuna Salad & a Mango

Had a lovely day with mummy friends, 5 Mummas and 9 kids all but 1 under 4 eeeeeeeek, a most definite early night for me. Little boy already fell asleep on the back of the bike on way home from dinner and just got plopped into bed :)

So I don't think I've done step3 quite right, but I've really enjoyed the addition of fruit! I should have had some carbs at dinner but i'm too scared lol and anyways we ate out and didn't want to ask for 40gs of rice lol. I'll cook tomoz I promise myself... hmmmm might make sweet potato with something ♥

Just incase anyone actually reads this, cucumbers here are only about 10cms long and really tasty, I didn't eat 2 english cucumbers lol
