What are we eating today?

today i have planned ahead so...

B: MIM (poss cheese or cinnamon with cream)
L: Cornedd beef, cheese, salad leaves cucumber and mayo
D: ****This is a first and it may be minging so this could in turn be an omlette instead***
Courgette pasta, pork meatballs and green pesto.

S: pork crunch
water water water (i now have a pint glass at work ;) )
1 glass of wine as thats all i have in the fridge lol
 
I am looking forward to trying Flax porridge when my flax arrives. I am thinking of getting sugarfree penutbutter or sugerfree Jam and putting it in if you can even get them?:rolleyes:

What does Flax porridge taste like? do you just put water in it? or could you put a bit of double cream in it aswell?

It is actually really nice and filling, tastes a bit more earthy than cereal, similar consistency to semolina, but nice. I really miss my muesli and porridge for breakkie so it's a nice change. I have gotten sugar free jam (diabetic hubby), still has carbs but not too much.

I make mine cereal by the recipe that says use water, but then add a tsp of butter and a splash of cream and even blueberries when I have them in the house

Good point, thanks for the reminder x - I have been ignoring the bag of spinach in the fridge for three days, guess it would go well with the fishermans pie tonight!!!
 
B - Oopsie with lil bit reduced sugar ketchup
S - Handful of scratchings
L - 2 slices ham from market shop, 3 small kabanos, loads of salad leaves, celery and mayo
S - Mushrooms cooked in butter and garlic (think I'm getting addicted to these!!!)
D - Doner meat and chicken (grilled breast not on turn) from kebab shop as late home

W - 4 litres and counting
E - not had time as only got in at 9pm
 
Where do you get these from sound amazing!! how many carbs in each bar?

At the moment they're 25% off at Boots (they're quite expensive!) and I think the brownie one is 3.1g carbs so quite high but there is a choc orange one thats only 1.9g and its gorgeous!

Can't find a recipe for porridge on my pack, what are the instructions on yours please? :wave_cry:

courgettes arent bad! i like them with pesto found asdas are really low car 4.2 per 100g, 190g per jar and used 2 tps :D

had mozarella too...might have to rethink the courgettes for a past sub though, it breaks too easily and my meatballs, were overcooked when i made them a few weeks ago, frozen the reheated....were like frikkin cardboard!!!

SO, more planning BUT i will get the recipe right one day lol
 
B- A very over priced sausage (yes just the one!!!!) and scrambled egg from a tea shop in Edenbridge.
L- The last of the meat loaf with spinach (thanks Vicky:))
D- Probly a plain MiM with the rest of the Brussels pate.

I bought a packet of flax from sainsbury £2.75ish for 170 grams. The carb content is 1g per 100g so less than 2g of carbs in the bag.
To make my MiM I use two heaped dessert spoons of the flax, with an egg, baking powder and a knob of butter. So far I have made 4 MiMs and have used about a quarter of the bag - so even if I round the bag up to 2g of carbs, that makes about .25g of flax carb in each MiM:D
Does that sound right??

Thanks for the heads up! unfortunately we don't have an asian shop locally, so would probly spend the extra on petrol finding one!! - but will def look farther a field when I can.
 
I've just put a cheeseburger pie in the oven and just realised I forgot the mayo! Will it make a difference or will it just taste like mince with a cheese omlette on top?!
 
B - 2 Slices Bacon and some fried Mushrooms
L - 8oz Sirloin Steak (Rare) with salad and mayo in Wetherspoons
S - 1 Stick of Rhubarb roasted with tsp splenda and cream - yum!
D - Cheeseburger pie, may have it on its own as I've had plenty of greens today and I'm not exactly ravenous.
 
before ANYONE starts....im appalled by my diary today..this is what it would be likse most weekends but for the last 6 weeks i have attempted to be good....i have been too busy today so.....

B: nothing
L: Nothing
D: Mim, clised thinly, toasted and eaten with butter and paté and a pepperami

S: half a bag of hit and spicy pork crunch
water a pint, if that.
1 glass of redbull
1 bottle of rosé

:(

Im SERIOUSLY not hungry though!!!!
 
Don't worry about it Missy, best thing is to draw a line under today and get back in the swing of it tomorrow x
