Ach, we can all sin once in a while Bren. You'll be back on the straight and narrow tomorrow! That's the glory of Atkins!

forgive me, i have sinned......

well, turned out neither of us was that hungry, so we had some alcohol.....then a dish of nachós between us, then coffee.....then wine...
my goodness, the covers were hard to keep onj the bed last night!

the menu was difficult at snack level, if we had had a meal it would have been fine, trouble is, she is doing scottish slimmers, not easy partners for lunch!
ho hum, back on track today.

Yesterday...

B: bacon + eggs
L: Brocolli + Stilton soup with a frankenfurter...ahem.
D: Sheesh...4 vodka tonics, 2 milky/creamy cocktails, 2 pints of coors light (low-ish carb lager/wee)
W: A fair amount
E: None

I've been out the last couple of Saturdays...Atkins has turned me into the most lightweight drinker ever. A couple of months ago that amount of drink would have been no probs...now though...well lets just say both nights ended up with my head down the toilet!...On one hand I don't mind - I like the clean feeling of not drinking much. On the other hand though I don't know how easily I'll adapt to drinking less on a night out - you know, getting into the spirit of things. A bit like turning up to a party naked.

Hi Michael, I always have a pint of soda with whatever I am drinking and make sure I match them drink for drink, that seems to help it not to go down too fast!

Afternoon all, currently defrosting the freezer ready for crimbo, cooking a pork joint (half price at Morrisons) and contemplating putting up some more tiles in the kitchen. Am also having a hungry day, must be last nights wine to blame.
B - flaxmeal porridge with cream
L - 2 slices roast beef with some left over greek salad
S - 0% greek yog, just cos I fancied it for a change from ff, have to say I prefer the full fat lol
D - roast pork in oven at the mo

W - not enough so far, coffees too
E - maybe a walk later, maybe some tiling
A - more than likely then need to knock it on the head till next weekend, getting back into the daily habit which is very bad for me.

Hey Quak, good thinking. I normally try and get a pint of water in at some point...just it's a bit difficult when you're in rounds with other guys! Tend to get laughed outta the shop! haha.

Hey Water,

I wish! Think I underestimated the amount I needed to lose - torso is being stubborn. First on Last off I guess! :( It's crazy how fundamental your diet is to your general homeostasis isn't it. Obvious I guess but I didn't realise how much until I changed my habits, started drinking less etc! Good for the wallet tho!

Nice menu btw... Melted brie on veg sounds lush! Also reminded me I need to get some corned beef in!
