What are we eating today?

I know, I often get lost in reading on Wiki. :)

It's great. Not looking at the cheeses cos there must be thousands and I'm on a schedule. Do they mention that maggotty Italian one (you eat maggots and all!) I would love to try it.

B - fried egg (they chorused)
L - tin of sardines, lettuce and caesar dressing, whole packet of corned beef
D - huge bowl green veg with cheese melted over (sorry, boring cheddar)
S - absolutely CRAVING choc, and there's a Thorntons bar in the cupboard, but even after three weeks I can remember what they do to me, so probably not. :p 8 brazils, and will have MiM and pate for supper.

B: Cheese + a pepperamil
L: Salad with cheese
D: M&S Soup with some mackerel fillets (yummy)
W: Lots
E: None (too cold)
A: Bleurgh (at the mo)

I bought the soup from M&S - it was Indian style chicken and lentil soup. Had 13g carbs per half a pot. I thought pretty good considering the lentils. They've got them on 2 for £3.50 - I really recommend them - they also do broccoli and stilton.

Can anyone think of any high fat, low effort food? I think I'm getting too much protein and too little fat lately - weight loss has really slowed down this week.

Mackerel fillets - 18g per fillet (Average)
Corned beef - 13g per 100g
Cheese, oily meats
Any other ideas spring to mind?? For salads, nibbling etc...

Thanks!

Ah Pork scratchings, yes! I never seem to see them about though, unless I'm in a dodgy old booooozaaaaa!

Ah good thinking! Plenty of those round my way. Isn't there two types of scratchings? I recall there being blue bags and red bags when I last had them?

I've seen two lots, they both come in packs of 12 (small individual bags), one with a white foil and one in gold. Both are the ones with fat on them, rather than the dry type, and the small bag usually hits the snack spot for me.

I usually find them in the crisps section. Good luck :)

Oh Bren - feel you on that port - it's my nemesis, and probably the most carborific drink in the history of the universe!

Brilliant weekend away with my friends. One of them is low-carbing with me, so that made it easier to stick to the plan. Went slightly wonky Friday night in the Thai place, as even the most Atkins-friendly things came coated in batter, but after that did pretty well!

B - bacon egg and mushrooms
L - smoked salmon and cheese omelette
D - loads of green veg with cheese sauce (heat cream, add paprika, mustard, pepper, salt, loads of grated cheese. Totally yum, if a little grainy. Might start with philly as base next time) plus two drumsticks :D
S - 6 brazils
W - loads
E - arrrrrrrrgh! None , due to sore back!
A - 0 even though off work tomorrow

Sun - 28/11 - been in this house 2 years today! - Maint
B - flaxmeal porridge and cream
L - 2 slices bacon, 2 fried eggs and a lump of mattesons, grilled
D - chicken n leek thingy from asda, cabbage, butter
S - 2 slices ham, slices cucumber with cream cheese, half a dozen olives with jalapenos in them

W - nowhere near enough
E - none
A - bottle of white wine, which led me to trying to eat a cherry bakewell - was faaaaaaaaaaar to sweet so dog got over half of it and I am now hungry and craving a cheese and tomato sarnie :(

Morning all.

B: Fried lamb chops and leeks.
L: Something legal from the carby cafe.
D: I got some pork mince out, I'm going to try the cheeseburger pie with it. I've not done it with pork before.
