What surprised me today is that I really had to stop myself from going for a third choc - like a stern voice in my head going NO - STOP! Perhaps like a parent would do to a disobedient toddler...

Might have to check those Atkins Bars out :)

Funny about the voice in the head - it does kick in, and it becomes easier (for me, anyway) to actually listen to it and follow through, the longer I do this way of eating. I was surrounded by tray after tray of Susie food on Xmas Eve - pastries, samosas, little yummy vol au vents - and I said speak to the hand.

Shame I didn't do that with the wine - but you can't have everything :)

Really wish I could get my head round all this diet stuff once and for all.
Need to loose 2 stone before i get my hip done and so far its not going so great.
I know the basics but get bored so easily.
oh what to do.
I wish I didnt like food so much, but I do and need to get over it.

I think everyone on here are so inspirational and great support to each other, it a pleasure to read all your posts.

S - um, um, 'some' sugar-free caramels, cheese, salami, will have MiM for supper
W - loads plus diet ginger beer

A - 0 although I could if I wanted - no work tomorrow :D
 
Morning all, my head hurts and I'm up 3lbs on posted weight, so how did that happen. :D, Back on induction for me.

B: Sausage and egg with bacon and mushrooms.
L: A salad I suppose :sigh:
D: It's Friday. :D, any normal person would have a quiet night at home after last night., but not me. :D

L - mortadella with pistachios in (yum) rocket and red leicester salad and a little mayo
D - 2 fat duck legs and 200g celeriac chippies might have some cabbage too (onto owl today)
ex - up early doing cleaning - will finish off when i get in. 20-30 min dog walk.
s - probably some tomatoes and cheese oooooo exciting ;)

I keep reading that 210 pounds for my height will make me look 'normal' which I just couldn't get my head round it because it seems so near now

That's 2 stone heavier than me and I'm 6' 1" mate.
