What are we eating today?

Was lovely, ended up having it for 2 meals runing instead of stickinh to my original menu plan. Very yummy!

B: 2 x fried sausage and scrambled egg.
L: Jenny's I suspect.
D: I've got a couple of rump steaks marinading, I hope it'll be nice enough to BBQ them tonight. If not then I'll grill them and have a nice salad.

Windy day here today in, Dunstable. Home with pooly youngest son, been up all nite and I feel like poo!!!!

B. Coffee and BIG handfull of nuts.
L. Coffee and what ever I can eat so my bubba doesnt see
D. Coffee. Too tired to think that far ahead.....

B: Frying steak with pak choi, drizzled with a bit of sesame oil, soy sauce. A green tea
L: Just a snack as at uni today for practical labs, think small tub of tuna mayo.
D: More frying steak, stir fried lettuce with chilli.

Feel free - just me, the dog and pasta freak (makes his own) husband.

Got to the local market yesterday and bought

6 big pork chops
2lbs of chicken breasts
1 slab square sausage
2lbs of bacon mis shapes
2lbs of frying steak
6 sirloins
1 roll brisket beef
1lb steak mince

all for £23! home, freezer, sorted for at least the next week and a bit, not counting all the fish I have in. Theres plenty for visitors!
 
Can I come too! It does sound super yummy. Woofy and I can bring our pups!

Is stir fried lettuce good? Do you use a specific type of lettuce? Might give that a go.
 
Honestly, I use iceberg because its still quite crunchy. I think its similar to chinese leaf (to me anyway) I get bored having cold lettuce, cold salad, and thought why bother? Works well.

Stirfried cucumber is AMAZING. You have to peel it, and strip out the seeds in the middle. Best way to do this is peel it, cut in half lengthways and run a spoon down the middle to deseed. Cut into 1cm slices, and then stir fry with ginger, garlic, salt and a bit of powdered sweetner. Throw in a tablespoon of water to moisten it up a bit. beautiful. From the "Beyond baked beans green" cookbook. She serves it with rice but I suppose you could use cauli.
 
Hmm, will have to give the lettuce thing a go. I do stir fry cucumber, as my local chinese do that and I LOVE it.

Have you tried Kale stir fried? I got that one on here. Boil the kale for 5 mins then stir fry with whatevery you fancy. I do garlic, ginger and chilli. It's LUSH!!!! I throw in some giant prawns with it.

brekkie; minute muffin with sugar free peanut butter on some and cream cheese and raspeberries on other bits, coffee yummmmm:D

lunch;big spinach salad with tin tuna and boiled eggs on top, sugar free jelly.

dinner ; roast chicken , tenderstem broccoli with babycorn.

snacks; slice corn beef and small handfull of macadamias.
 
Three protein shakes and not much else as I have had the tummy from wummy again (terrible urge to blow off and sit on the toilet all day today and it began this morning just before I had to take the tykes to school ach!)
 
Oh God - I think I've just died and entered curry heaven!

Followed Jims basic curry recipe (minus tomatoes) and fried the cheese, removed the cheese and set aside. Then I added big bunch of chopped indian spinach, wilted it all down and blended it with stick blender, Threw cheese back in and mixed together.

*drools*

I added spinach and melted cheese to my Lamb curry... Ur so rite, ITS LUSH!!
Would have payed big money for that. Sagg lamb curry. MMmmmm

Im off to eat some more that was meant to be for 2m... Not now ; o )

Seriously get a block pf paneer, you can fry it. Its goes brown on the outside and remains solid!
 
Just popped paneer on my Tesco`s delievery for 2m. Saag paneer MMMmmm I so cant wait!!

I feel sick, Im not used to eating so much after having a whirly tummy for the past week. Probably will gain tomorrow after losing 0.5lb a day by sitting on the loo :(

Morning!

B: 3 egg omlette with mushrooms, and a bit o cheddar, coffee with 1tbsp cream
L: Tuna mayo salad, might grab something else from shops, so not really sure yet
D: Spicy steak mince burgers with caraway seeded cabbage.
