What are we eating today?

very probably Claire. ;)

ah well, at least lunch was nice, and I've rung Colleen and told her we are having a takeaway tonight.

mm, takeaway!

I had an omelette for brekky,
peperami and hard boiled egg for snack (I know, too many eggs)
probably cold meats for lunch
roast lamb and cauli mash for dinner

I had a lamb steak for dinner today Jar and really enjoyed it. I don't often have lamb as it seems so much more expensive but it was on offer in tesco's. Yum! Enjoy your tea!

Jim, get you being all authorititive!! What you having then? Enjoy whatever it is.. will be better than my boring egg n bacon salad outta tupperwear tub at work :(

I love lamb so much I dont mind the expense! plus if you get a half or whole leg and roast it, you have your roast dinner, and you can make casserole or stew from the leftovers, or you can mince it to make chili/bolognese/shepherds pie.

Hmm, that's an idea.. may have to do that sometime soon (seeing as though it's payday at last today!).. However most of it will be taken up by my overdraft lol

Get down your butchers and see if they have mutton instead of lamb - I believe it's richer but it might be cheaper - Jim's more likely to be able to help out there! X

Mutton is cheaper here, the secret is to cook it slower and longer.

Morning.

B: Left over tandoori Lamb
L: I'm fancying the 3 cheese spinach melt from the veggie cafe.
D: TFIF! first the pub and then a donner and onion salad in a tray. :D

b - bacon & eggies
l - chicken mayo salad, smoked cheddar stick
d - something out of the freezer so either salmon burgers or beefburgers with mozerella, depending how carniverous I feel.

sn - cheese & ham oopsie

ODIF (Oh Dear, It's Friday) - I really MUST stay off the voddie tonight. So lots of thumb twiddling. Gah.

I shall be down the pub with a bottle of dry red LM. :)

:giggle: Sorry LM. I drank during induction love, every friday night I'd have a bottle of red, just counted it into my carbs. BAD!

Feeling a bit disheartened food wise at the moment as we've got lots going on, lots to worry about and it's making me want to slip in to old habbits of ordering takes aways and crap. I shall be strong though!

Not easy when you are stressed is it love.

This diet is easy enough to do when you have a steady routine and have control of your meal times and food supplies, but it gets *very* hard to do when your schedule is all over the place! You have my sympathies, Laura - try to hang in there because later you can feel doubly proud of yourself for doing so under difficult circumstances.

And it's okay to order a takeaway, just keep it legal!

Aww Laura, i totally sympathise with you hun and well done for being strong! You're doing fantastically and deserve a medal for sticking to it all through everything. Good luck on the interview too - i hope you knock em dead! x

Morning all,

B: Left over pork loin steak.
L: That'll be the Cafe as usual.
D: Meat loaf and loads of steamed green veggies. I have the choice of Pak Choi, choi Sum, conical cabbage, spinach, celery and aubergine. :)
