Got home from work and did C25K week 5 day 2.
2x 8 minute runs!!!!! :D *chufty* :giggle:

Thought i'd do it this morning as its set to be heavy rain showers all day today and when i got home from work it was just a light drizzle ;)

Off to bed now but after my run i munched 2 slices of sliced beef (the sandwich pack stuff) and a pint of water.

Menu for today:

Thursday 22nd July

B- all bran & s.s milk.

L- apple, banana with lf yog over the top. 1 wholegrain crackerbread with peanut butter.

D- baked turkey breast, lettuce, cucumber, tomato, 3 tbsp of mixture of sweetcorn & chickpeas. sweet chilli sauce. (taking to work)

*raspberries

*500ml water
*2 black coffee & sweetener

Well done on the run hun. I must say, I really enjoyed mine yesterday and looking forward to the next one.

Lunch is looking a little light - I would be inclined to add a little protein, maybe an egg, or some chicken, just for your metabolism to have a little boost.
 
Got up really late today though mary, 5pm! :eek: :eek: I hate getting up that late so have only just had breakkie.

I'll see how i feel later on and if so i will have the chickpeas before work too then just the salady stuff in work :) orrrrrrrrrr maybe a crackerbread with peanut butter :drool: Now you have got me thinking Mary! hahahaa

Just watching the Hotel Inspector in Plymouth .... it looks lovely there!!! I HAVE been but it's so long ago I can't remember it. I love the sea - couldn't live too far away from it .. xx

I must admit Plymouth is a pretty place, if you go to the right places :giggle: I didn't watch the hotel programme but will try catch up with it at the weekend :)

Have to catch up in yer diaries in the morning ladies (don't chat too much haha) as my phone is almost dead and I need the batt for me run after work.

C25k week 5 complete!!!!!!! :D

The programme said for wk5 d3 to run 20mins or 2miles so i mapped out 2 miles last night on walk jog run and set my stopwatch today when i started running. Im pleased with my time: 23:34.1 :)

Can't believe i ran 2 miles in 23:34.1!!! Thats just under 12mins a mile! *chufty* :giggle: Not once did i want to give up and i didnt feel out of breathe either! :)

So im off to bed now.
Menu for when i get up is:

Friday 23rd July

B- all bran & s.s milk. raspberries.

*2 wholegrain crackerbreads with brussels pate.

L- baked salmon, lettuce, cucumber, tomato. sweet chilli sauce. Lf yog.

D- 2 wholegrain crackerbreads with peanut butter. 30g cheddar cheese. Lf hummous and cucumber sticks. apple.

*6 slices of chicken
*1 square of darrrrrk chocolate (85% cocoa)
*clemintine in work

*1 litre water
*2 black coffee & sweetener

I was in bed early-ish, morning shift today.
Hope your run went well after work Tan.

My only criticism is protein again, what about a slither of cheese with those crackers and pickle?

Ive just put in a poached egg with my salmon .. thats protein right?! xxx
 
can i have cheese & eggs?! Egg with lunch and a slice of cheese with dinner?! :giggle:
