♥ ~*~ Tanya's Diary No 3 ~*~ ♥

You can buy locally produced honey in nearly every shop in Icmeler, but I dont know about other parts of Turkey.

I love honey in cereal, mixed with lemon and hot water for a sore throat, on bread, on pancakes, crumpets etc, I glaze ham joints with honey and mustard before oven baking. I use it for loads - Fan of honey you might say, but I used to love it as a kid, then hated it until the last few years.

They had loads in Olu Deniz and Hisoranu as well .... I know you know Mary but perhaps we should tell Tan that it's actually illegal to bring it - or any foodstuffs, back from Turkey ... just in case ;):D (ya l'il criminal ya :p) xx

:rotflmao: hahaha yer i knew it was illegal, just like its illegal to bring back over the allowance of duty free ;) doesnt stop people though does it! :giggle:

I think you get it somewhere where you give up beating yourself up and accept the swings and roundabouts - but I'm not sure, I'll let you know if I find one ;)

Have a lovely day tomorrow xx

Jan i'd love it if i was like you!!! You just seem to get on with it and always at a perrfect weight etc - share it please!! :rotflmao:

It certainly doesn't feel that way Tan ... if feels like a constant vigilance amd effort. And I'm not getting to where I really want to be - ie around 10st 3lbs .... It takes me all my time to get back down to 10st 7lbs all the time! I don't think I'm any different to you hon ... I eat too much - things I don't WANT to eat half the time and spend the rest of the week trying to play catch up AND I'm too stubborn to drink less!! A couple of weeks of no booze and those few lbs would probably drop off!!

You're doing brilliantly Tan - I know you may not believe it at the moment but look back a year or so and stop beating yourself up!! Ya HEAR??!! ;) xx

Tanya, you just need to look at where you have come from to how you are today, I agree, stop beating yourself up chick.

Okay, you might be a little heavier right now than what you want to be, but look at how fit you are getting with your running, as you progress with your running, I am sure the extra exercise will soon shift those lbs hun.

Have a good day and a nice long lie in bed.

Oh yeah - that reminds me - I read on another thread, can't remember which one now, it might have been a SW one (moseyed around bit last night) but someone mentioned that she has to eat more the days she is running or her body hangs on to everything and she loses LESS weight!! Just thought I'd share. xx

Can always trust you girls to just say it :) Thanks.
I still feel really bad for eating that pizza - it was the topping off of 2 of them and the whole slice of one. Im really annoyed as Stevie gets it every week - pretty much - and i always manage to leave it no matter how many drinks ive had but last night duno why i didnt. Thats what im more upset about - felt like i lost the willpower to the takeaway pizza! :rotflmao:

Anyways today :birthday: to Stevie - today its cinema - Toy story 3 - i CANT WAIT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! with some sweeties and then a meal.

Im going to enjoy it and not feel guilty. Im already set on a gain next week :sigh:

Guna have to look into that thing about exercise and eating more Jan. I feel like i shouldnt eat much cuz ive exercised but yet what you said the thread said does make sense in a way.

Have a nice day ladies :D x

Hope you both have a lovely day and evening out Tanya.

I totally agree with Jan and Mary, you have to look at where you have come from. Your signature pics say it all! You've lost so much weight, you're so much fitter now and you look fantastic!! No more being guilty, time to be proud of how far you've come and who you are now!!

Well done on the 1lb off. Keep up the running and you will get to where you want to be, we all know you will!

Tanya, you can be your own worst critic. Do not be so hard on yourself. This maintaining lark is all about balance. If you want to party a bit then accept that you will have a sts or a gain. But follow any few days or week of excess with an equal period of cutting back to make up for it. It is only in doing this that we can hope to maintain. Here's to a better week for you.

Agree with the others! You look fantastic girl and dont forget that! At the end of the day, we have to live....stop focussing in on the negative and just think positively!! do ya hear :)

You are testament that it isnt all plain sailing BUT, it is achievable and you are making good choices.....eating a few pieces of pizza isnt BAD!! Need to change how you view things...why is it "thin" people dont see it as bad???? So, come on! :)

You are doing amazing well and you should be soooooooo proud of where you are now and all this running, well, you will need a full pizza to keep you sustained ;-)!!

Take care and keep smiling and being positive!! (eh, I am sound more like Jan every day ) :)!!

Thats just it though - i am fed up of having a few days of bad then cutting back. It seems like a never ending cycle and its beginning to p**s me off to no end.

Anyways, yesterday was lovely. Despite a day off food wise only actually had the one proper meal which was out at frankie & bennys and was Bruschetta to start and BBQ chicken wrap with chips & a couple onion rings.

But on the other hand everything else throughout the day was picky - crisps, dips, chocolate and meat (like sandwich stuff with dips). Oh and coffee cake (bf didnt want a birthday one so got him a coffee one :p)

Im setting my heart on a gain this week. Off for lunch with my friend on saturday so will be super good between now and then. Try and cut back on any damage caused on the weight front. I'm tempted to use up the shakes and soups i have left from exante and have one meal and 2 shakes a day untill they are gone. Or maybe 2 meals or maybe protein days (jan ;))... I am all ideas at the moment and no get go :sigh:

Went to bed with all best intentions of getting up and doing w6d1 c25k but woke up and my back is in agony. I think i mightve slept funny. So will either do it tonight after work or wednesday. Trying not to leave it too long as last run was friday morning.

It seems to be ok now thanks Bev. Im guessing i just slept awarkedly.

Still debating whether to run after work today or tomorrow when i get up! :hmm:

Im seriously considering using up my shakes and soups for a few days or so. I feel like im totally losing control here and im getting bored of bran flakes now... :sigh:

Got to add a yorkie biscuit bar to today :sigh:

NOW THEN TANYA-JANE!!!!!

Get yerself out of this negative-down-on-yourself mode!!!!!

You have a few days bad - you have to cut back a few days to make up for it ...you always will!! Get over it!! So do slim people!!

The answer is to find a way to live the 'moderation in all things' lifestyle .... if you find that - bottle it, sell it and you'll be a millionaire!

Sorry of this is a bit harsh ... trying to give you a kick up the @rse ... if you didn't want that I'll be here with the *****hugs***** too  xxxx
