♥ ~*~ Tanya's Diary No 3 ~*~ ♥

Ya reckon? I do kinda think of it as a diet today and i dont like that feeling :( But then again, im wanting to lose weight so i am on a diet!!!!!!!!! yo-yo-yo-yo-yo-yo :sigh:

I guess it will take some getting used to.

It's just a habit Tanya...in a few days you wont even notice, but try and get out of the mentality of thinking you are on a diet as this might just make you rebel ;-)!

Just remember the Lipotrim days and the fact you only had 3 shakes, BUT now, you can have 3 meals and healthy snacks, etc.....maybe remembering that will help you a wee bit.

Have a great day!

Wednesday 18th August

B- 2 egg omelette with ham & red pepper.

S- 2 english plums

L- Mixed bean salad with lf mayo.

S- Strawberries

D- Apple, Peach & mullerlight yogurt.

(I don't have time to fit 3 square meals in as i got up at 5pm today and leave for work at 12:30 - hence the fruit & yog for din dins and the apple i will take to work)

*2.25 litre water
*2 black coffees with sweetener

Got home from work and my dog is being a right nightmare - i was almost in tears from it its just stressing me right out. The next time my parents decide to go on holiday i cant look after him - its just not fair for him to change his routine because im nights. He doesnt know whether he's coming or going and from the moment i leave the house he barks, when i get home he's still barking. Poor thing :( It's just not fair on him.

I also did a 20minute run after work this morning. Killer!!!!!! Never wana go that long between runs again! Although am looking forward to c25k w8 next week :D

menu looks good for today. Iris is spot on, don't focus on this as a diet or it will just be another yo yo. Just give it a few weeks and if you find it too hard then it just may not suit you.
One step at a time. Concentrate on cutting back on heavy carbs and watch portion sizes for now. As the days progress, you will get to know good and bad foods as you go along.
Well done on your run today. You have great focus.

I think i will be ok once i am in the swing of it. It just feels like im following a 'diet' as ive got to keep checking everything etc but once i get my teeth into it i'll be ok :)

Already found a few recipies, one for lentil & mushroom roasted cakes - might give these a whirl the weekend ;)

You sound v stressed hon  ... food great, it's just the change that makes it feel 'strange' not the 'diet' thing. When you realise you're not feeling any hunger and it becomes more natural to you you'll feel much better.

Not good looking after the dog under such circumstances - nights, being poorly etc. ... I would say though - I bet he doesn't bark the whole time you're out ... just when you leave and when he hears/senses you coming back - which will be LONG before you think it can be! xx

I can't help but feel bad for leaving him! Does that make me sad?! lol He's so used to people being in all day with him that i bet he feels a little scared. Although i do leave the kitchen light on for him. Might try a radio for him tonight too?

Ya reckon he knows how to read the time on the cooker and think, ooh tanya will be home in 10mins best get barking! :rotflmao:

I have to say i really enjoyed my bean salad this evening! nom nom nom!!!!

Methinks one is extracting the urine my dear!! ;) ... Tis a well known fact that animals - especially dogs, sense when their owners are on their way up to 20 minutes before they arrive. If you don't believe that you must know that their hearing is incredibly sensitive and he will hear your car - footstep, whatever waaaaay before you can be close enough to hear him!! So THERE!! :D:D:D

What IS funny is - when I started reading your post I thought you were talking about the bf and leaving him for the weekend . It was only when I got to the leaving the radio on bit that I thought EH??? Wassgoinonere!!! :8855: xxx

:rotflmao: What ye like!!!!!!
I do know that as soon as he hears a car pull in the drive his ears are up and he's stood at the front door as he automatically knows its either mum and dad or grandma!

I did know they were senstive but didnt realise it can be up to 20mins before! Thats crazy isnt it! Clever little blighters! :giggle:

Clever yes but I think it can also be a bit of a blight to be so sensitive  ..... They're lovely though xxx

Happy to report that i got home from work this morning to no barking and no toilets in the kitchen from my little doggy! :D I left the bigger light on and the radio. I also took the cone off his head. Very pleased and makes me feel much better about leaving him again tonight :)

My menu's are changing a little bit but i'm sticking roughly to what i planned, well, the food ive planned to eat anyways. Going to my burd's again tonight - she needs her hair washing and a bit of help around the house :giggle:

Looks good Tan :)

2 questions - what's 'elf' mayo? And where did you get the stoneground bread? I haven't seen any except Warburton's rolls which I bought before, to take to work. I've looked in Sainbury's, Tesco's and Aldi xx

OH and well done on the running - I'm dead proud of you :D xx

Elf mayo :rotflmao: elf! hahahhaha Just realised that! :giggle: It means Extra Low Fat :)

LMFAO!!!!!!!! No wonder there's no references to it on Google!!!!!!!! :8855: What am I like???!!!! I thought you'd found some fab new 'good' mayo :D:D

Stoneground wholemeal - i got it from sainsburys m'dear. Its an organic one. My GI book reccomends warburtons but i couldnt find it but i found this one.
