Nah jan it's either cereal bars, crisps, chocolate, cakes, sandwiches! I was ok in the end :) made me drink more water :)

Just got back from doing C25k w8d2 :D 28mins full run no stopping!!!! Chufty badge please! :giggle: :D :D :D :D ~Although, i am a little slower than i should be. I am running 2.35miles but the c25k says i should be at 2.75 miles :sigh: Still, after week9 i will work on 5k in under 30mins then just keep making my runs longer once i crack that :)

Today: Woke up in a good mood. Then i opened my car insurance renewal! How the hell can they up it by £70 when i have 5 years no claims, no accidents nothing in the whole 5 years i have been driving. Gotta say this has p****d me off to no end :cry:

Thursday 26th August

B- banana shake

L- poached chicken salad -lettuce, cucumber, tom, grated carrot, orange pepper, red onion, slice of chese & elf mayo.

D- vegetable soup

*mandarin segments
*apple

*2.75litre water
*2 black coffee & sweetener

:doh: just had 1 chocolate caramel werthers original (wasnt impressed tbh lol)

Food looking good hon! Well done for not getting something 'nawty' out of a machine last night :)

I think there's been a general rise in car insurance rates. They're blaming it on the increase in personal injury claims after accidents but it's not fair that we all have to suffer!! :(

Just realised I didn't comment on your running!! You're doing sooo well! You SHOULD be chuffed!! I don't know how you do it. You'll soon get that speed up - if it even matters! It's surely the time spent on the exercise that matters, not whether you've covered a certain distance! Though I could see that will matter if you plan on becoming competitive about it! Well done you :D xx

Yeah I phoned them and they said there's been a general rise because of claims. I was like so your putting mine up £70 cuz of other idiots, I'm a responsible driver not had any crashes accidents or even prangs the whole 5years I've been driving yet I'm the one suffering!!! His response: we can't do anything about it!

This is precisely one of the reasons I want to be a traffic cop!

It is quiet init :( no Mary, no iris :( just me and you chicken!!!

Apparently Michelle bass and victor are going into the bedsit from a previos series on Friday. I'm intrigued by that but John has got to go this week!!!!!! Xxx
 
Shop round for your insurance though Tan! I was with direct line for a few years then 3 years ago they sent me a renewal for about £405. I went on one of the comparison sites and got Sheila's Wheels for £185!! I couldn't believe it - same cover & everything. I rang direct line to tell them not to renew and when i said how much I'd got it for they said they couldn't compete and to go for it! Which I did and I think this years was about £230 and that's with an extra £25 coz of a speeding ticket I got last year :eek:

Yeah - I'll still watch BB ... Hooked I'm afraid. Really bad news about Josie though. I haven't seen anything yet but I bet it was a combination of not feeling 'good enough' amidst all those 'celebs' when she was the most popular one in there and we havent seen hide nor hair of most of them for like EVER! And those silly people - started by Nadia and Mcstupid filling her head with thoughts of John-James not being sincere! I actually doubt that's a 'real' relationship tbh but it wasn't for them to say anything and make her feel even more insecure.

Anyway! - I'll watch it later, it usually comes on to 4od sometime after about 3-4am. Otherwise it'll be in the morning.
Wish she hadn't gone though :( xx
 
I have shopped around and they're all coming up roughly the same! :( Its not due until 21st september so i will leave it untill after my weekend away next weekend then sort it :sigh:

Couch to 5k Week 8 complete!!!!!! :D
I even have the the injuries to prove it! :(
Toenail came off this morning (sorry if tmi) but thankfully i have a new one growing - its about 1/3rd grown already.

My ribs feel like they have done 10 rounds with Tyson! I need a sports bra asap!

And my ankles are absolutly killing! Feel like they have been 'pulled'. Been told thats through not stretching. So might have to incorporate some next week after my runs.

Looking forward to weigh in tomorrow. I'm aprehensive as a sneaky look doesnt show much gone but i will be happy with 2lbs. Can say that there will be some vodka this weekend - as per usual :eek: and possibly even a visit to the pub on sunday but still going to try and stick to the shakes, atleast 1 anyways :) :fingerscrossed: I have 5 days off work now so it will be a bit of a struggle i reckon but lets hope and pray! :rolleyes:

Friday 27th August

B- Strawberry shake

L- Grilled pork chop, 2 slices ham & steamed veg

*1 beef chilli bite.
*couple bits off a cooked chicken.

*1litre water
*1 black coffee & sweetener

:doh: the beef chilli bite! Now im not too hopefull for weigh in! But oh well what will be will be.

Tempted to have a cheeky drink tonight - will be the last Big Bro eviction that i'm able to sit down with a nice drink and watch :hmm: .... am i just looking to justify a glass of the morgan spice i just bought?! :rotflmao:

I justified the few whiskys tonight ;) .... not opened the morgan spice, will have that tomorrow as a change from vodka :eek: Sorry mr s! :heartpump:

Y'know the thing that is a downfall for me on this? Having to be so organised all the time. Feels like I'm constantly chopping up flaming salad stuff! Do you not get hacked off with all the prep it takes?

PS: I am a cop so doing my level best to catch all the baddy drivers for your insurance premiums lol
 
Oh wow how weird is that! We both have a loved one in 40 commando and you're a cop and i start training for the specials in october (with the hope of becoming a full cop in 2012 when, and a big IF they start recruting again :sigh:)!!!!!!!!!!!! And i want to be a traffic cop! :eek: :giggle:

I love making food, preparing it all etc so i dont get fed up of it. You can always do it in bulk im sure it will all keep in the fridge nicely in seperate tubs for a few days, i suppose that way its all conviently chopped up and ready to go for when you need it, especially if you are busy :)

I like to plan my meals for the week too, so i know what i need when i go shopping and what im having each day so thats a little less hassle.

If you start a diary i'll be sure to get my subscription in! ;)
 
Well done on completing the c25k week :D Slapped wrists for not stretching though!! You'll bugger yourself up for sure if you don't look after yourself and do things properly. My daughter got shin splints because of upping her distances too quickly when she was training for the marathon and now she still feels them from time to time. These things never seem to go away completely so best to do things properly and not get them in the first place!!

AND!! MADAM!! Quit with the picking!! Who do you think you are ... ME!!!!! ;) xx

I will start a diary, and stick to updating it - I'm kinda crap at getting distracted from it tho. With it being just me in the house with the other half away it just seems that things go bad so quickly and I cba to go buy stuff all the time. :rolleyes:

Guess if this is going to work out then I'll have to pull my finger out and just get dedicated to it lol.:sigh:

I just assumed with c25k being a programme all would be ok with the 5minute warm up walk and 5minute warm down walk thats set out! But defo got to look for stretches next week!

And wrists defo slapped! No more! Although, i can't say the slapped wrists will stop the drinkie poos! :eek: xx

Oddly i've really enjoyed not having to worry about breakfast and just having a shake. Breakfast is always my downfall and either makes me or breaks me for the day! :eek:

On a :( got the dreaded totm again :cry: Who knows how long it will last for this time! :sigh:

Saturday 28th August

B- 1/2 vegetable soup (couldnt have any more as i'd just had 1litre of sug free juice!)

L- Turkey & green lentil curry about 1/2 big bowl *& 1/2 slice wholegrain bread.

*1 boiled egg
*1 thorntons paraline chocolate & 1 99calorie toffee crisp
*1 packet chipsticks
*1 chip
*2 bites of bagel with butter & 3 chipstick crisps :S :d'oh:

*1 litre sug free dilutable peach squash
*500ml water
*1 black coffee & sweetener

*cracking open the morgan spice tonight ;) - actually cracked it open at 4:30 :eek: ... well, i am on holiday! :rotflmao:

The bf has almost sunk 2 bottles of rose and its only 7pm! How he does it i will never know! :giggle:
