Far be it from me to undermine a mother's comments ;) but ... whilst being wet can lower your resistance, you can't actually catch that cold unless you're in contact with somebody with the virus!!!!

However - if it had been one of mine I probably would have said something very similar ;) ... it's a Mum thing :D xx

Hey Tan, I got my Exante pack today and I'm loving the choc orange bars and just had the mushroom soup, that's nice too.....I'm liking Exante :D

Is it ok to mix Lipotrim with Exante? I had 2 Exante and 1 Lipotrim today.

Saturday will be the most difficult time cos I like a bottle of Rose wine and a packet of nuts watching X FACTOR!!!!!

Just been and worked out how far i ran today and not including the warm up and warm down 5min walking i actually ran 3.9miles!!!!!!! Im a little shocked that i managed that! So with the warm up and warm down its defo over 4miles! Only that times 3 and theres me half marathon!

The site I use to calculate my run also tells me cals - duno how accurate but i input the time it takes me and my weight and it tells me i burnt 531cals :eek: surely that can't be right?!

Just checked another calorie counter and that says 458 cals burned.

Also adding im having a meal replacement bar for my dinner. Adding up cals and with breakfast and dinner and a 4mile run its just not enough i don't think and i reckon i will probably be hungry later on if i dont have something more substantial than an apple for dinner!

Well done on over 4 miles Tanya, that's fantastic! I bet you did burn off all those calories too, at the gym I ran for about 8 mins in all and burned over 150 calories so it must be right! You'll get through that half marathon no problem!

I'm with you on the slow cooker. We bought one last month and it's great. We bung in meat, herbs, spices, stock, soup (to thicken the sauce, it's lovely) and veggies and later on you have a great meal. We're real converts to the slow cooker.

Cheers ladies. No run today though - i feel like poop. I've hardly slept, waking up god knows how many times today. My nose is bunged up, my throat feels like its been cut with a razor and my body just doesnt want to move and my eyes just want to close. This better bloody pi*s off before the weekend!!!!

So will have to finish off week 2 next week. Feel a little guilty for not running but i know i just wont make it today :(

Last night when home from work i ate a slice of ham, a slice of polony, a slice of mature cheddar and 3 quality streets! :doh: Oh, I also had an options hot chocolate in work as i was soooo cold but it really didnt taste very nice at all. What do i expect for 34calories?! lol

Wednesday 29th September

B- 2egg 1 egg white omelette with 3 slices thin ham and a very small grating of mature cheddar. Squirt of ketchup.

*choc chip shortbread biccie

L- slow cooker chicken dish & steamed brocolli.

*more than 5 quality streets ..... i think it was about 8.
*apple

D- meal replacement bar & packet walkers crisps.

*some cherry soothers

*2litres water

See, maybe your mum's instincts were right about running in the rain, maybe the virus "found" you :p

Take it easy hun, your bod will prob want the extra cals if you aren't well - to fight off whatever is working on you.

Just need to be restrained with it all (says me) xx;)
 
Twas only the one ;) It was cuz they were left open in the cupboard :eek: Had to put them in the biscuit tub all nice and neat and well it just found my gob! :rotflmao:

Gotta take it easy - got a weekend full of booze and cupcakes to come!!!! :drool: So have to be well enough for that!!!! ahaha xxx
