Nope! He is still in Sangin!!! We are fuming. Last we heard from him on saturday and he was still there and still didn't know when he was being picked up to get back to Bastion! :( we are so angry.

He's still saying he will be home on sunday though but I can't see it happening as they have to have 7 days admin at Bastion and then a few days in cyprus don't they. The only way that would happen is if his admin crap is done for him. But omg its so frustrating, just get them home!!! lol I'm glad your bf is enroute ... he will be home soon!!! :) :) :)

It was a brilliant weekend even with my stinking cold. Tis not often all the family are together like that so it was just real nice and i defo enjoyed all of the food! ;) Today though :( Already started bad, me and the bf went to sainsburys to do our weekly shop and went for a breakfast there.

Monday 4th October

B- 2 sausages, 1 bacon, 1 egg, beans, 1 hashbrow, 2 slices toast. hp sauce.

L- slice of bread & butter. Packet mini cheddars.

D- chippy chips & 1/2 fishcake.

*packet sweet chilli sains bgty rice cakes.
*apple & wholegrain crisp breads with a little lf soft cheese with black pepper for work or just before.

Thanks for that post Sian, I'm contemplating the switch too. I've tried the bars and soups and they're a million times better than LT! I'm afraid that I just can't subscribe to the 'LT is medicine so just neck it down'.....I believe that there is quite a bit of fibre in the Exante bars which has got to be a good thing! It's not much fun being bunged up and cold, but that's how I feel almost all the time on LT. You may have made up my mind for me! thx:D

I'm glad I've helped. I can't knock the fact that I lost over 3 stone on LT but if I'd known I could have done it on Exante I would have, the choice is so much better.
I did think that because it's closer to 'food' with the bars and soups that it would give me more hunger pans and I'd want to eat but it didn't at all. Good luck in your choice Sandra.

:hijack: :giggle: Glad you have done ok Taylor :)

Had chippy chips & 1/2 a fish cake for dinner

Can't wait to get out for my next run tomorrow. I've looked into 1/2 marathon training and there is another programme i can follow so once i've completed bridge to 10k i'll move on to that and start upping my distance even further and hopefully :fingerscrossed: will be able to get the 1/2 marathon in under 2 hours.

:)

Ooooo you're gonna be as fit as fiddle :D xx

hahah, Jan I love your random pics ;)

Tan, join the club on bad day today (also fell foul of chippy chips) :(

Whats the programme for the half marathon? I may actually look into that myself. I can do 4 miles without walking at the min, so maybe I could train myself to do more.

I managed to speak to my b/f today. He's in Kandahar. Was waiting for a flight out, they are due in England on Wed sometime. So he wasn't in Cypress as I'd thought. It's so frustrating isn't it? Especially when you are given a time for them landing then the RAF delay it for hours.

Really hope your bro is taken off the ground pronto. They aren't spending any time in Cypress. They clearly don't need any adjustment time after coming home from that hellhole warzone :sigh:

Congrats on registering for the half marathon Tanya. I will defo be able to remember when you are running cos my daughter will be 19 on that day! Has dad registered too?

How's your cold now? Hope it's on the way out. I still can't shift mine from my chest, bit wheezy and struggling every now and then. Just wish it would go now!

Liking your menu for this week Tan, it sounds scrummy.

Iew phlegm *voms* @ cleaning it up Jan!!! But glad you're feeling better, it's best to leave running when you feel like that, it makes breathing hard at the best of times, never mind when you are all "chesty" ;)
Doing great hun x
