♥ ~*~ Tanya's Diary No 3 ~*~ ♥

I know I was only joking about 'spoiling' it ;)

Hope you get some advice from the runner's forum, good idea to do that.

I always used to know when totm was imminent coz I would get 1 spot! HaHa ...

I'm not particularly worried about the chicken - just the feeling of wanting something else .... I hate when I feel that building! I'm wanting my bar now but it's only 12.30 - if I do that I'll prob have the eggs soon after and have HOURS to go till morning. That's when I start looking for something else.

OFGS!! Why can't this be EASY!! :( xx

Oh Jan :( :( Tis certainly hard aint it. I dont think you should beat yourself up about it - you've done fantastic and to only be 2lbs up from your holiday is brill!! :D Afterall, isnt this why we do this so we can fully enjoy ourselves whilst away? - didn't you say something like that to me the other day?! ;)

Hold on for another hour or so then have your bar then try and keep occupied untill a little later on for your eggs. Is there anything for you to do where you work? Glug that water - that'll keep you occupied up and down to the loo! haha

Got to add 2 slices of ham dipped in a little onion & garlic dip just before i went to get changed for work! :giggle:

HaHa - that's just like what I do ... dipping things in things, probably standing at an open fridge!! ;)

Yes I probably DID say something like that to you or someone else ... just coz I can spout it doesn't mean I'm LISTENING!!!!! :D:D:D

I DO know - AND I know it'll be okay in the end ... just 'avin' a moan ;) xxx

BTW - NOTHING to do in work except what I bring to amuse myself with. Last night I spent over 4 hrs doing the Saturday Mail giant crossword (which I LOVE) I saved it specially from Saturday (funnily enough ;)) I used to get through a book a night but I can't do it any more. After 1 page my heads nodding either forward or backward and my neck nearly breaks ... it's funny I know but it doesn't half hurt!! :(
I'm off to watch a few things I missed whilst on holiday on the iplayers .. dunno what I did before they started and before the family got wifi!! xx

:rotflmao: hahahaha yes Jan, i was stood at the fridge door open munching the ham! LOL

Hope work didnt get too boring for you!

Weigh in tomorrow morning - not looking forward to it. I just cant seem to get the right balance between food & running. Its soooooooooooooooooo flippin hard  Why can't i just be a skinny minnie that can eat what i like and never put on weight?!!!

Although actually if i think about it i have maintained at this weight for a fair while now to be fair ..... but still i want to LOSE it dammit!!!!!!! :(

I think its a moan day .......

Friday 8th October

*B210k w2d3 - Week 2 complete :)

B- 2 egg 1 egg white omelette with ham. squirt of hp sauce.

*2 slices ham after my run.

L- 2 small grilled pork loins all fat cut off with steamed broccoli & carrots. 2tbsp salsa and a little applewood cheese melted on top the pork.

*small tin pineapple chunks & the juice
*2 slices ham

D- meal replacement bar

*1.5litre water so far
*250ml pepsi max

Edit: Todays run was fab. I did struggle and did at one point think what an earth am i doing? That was when some bloke came running past me and 2minutes later i couldnt see him anymore i just thought god how slow am i!! But soon picked myself back up when i saw my half way lampost and thought right its on! I walked for 1minute more than i should have today but i think if i didnt my legs would have seized up as the back of my thighs were in agony! Anyhow, week2 complete :D Very happy. Next week i'm going to change it up abit as the runs are 17minutes long so on the days before i run i'm going to have a serving of pasta with dinner and my usual eggs for breakfast. If that doesnt work i'll change my breakfast to porridge. All trial and error but i will get there - i hope!! :fingerscrossed:

Edit: just munched 2 slices ham - wish my dad wouldnt buy this yummy stuff!

WOW!! Well done on completing week 2 .. you're a star!!!!

Never mind those who run past you! There are also those (like me ) who don't run at all! You're doing brilliantly - I really admire you :)

Have you had any replies from the runners forum about food? I'm sure you'll get it right, as you say it's trial and error.

At least your Dad only buys yummy ham - not yummy chocolate or ice cream or something ;) xx

Oh he buys that too jan but I can, majority of the time leave that as it's 'naughty' but the ham, no carbs etc i just can't leave it! Lol xxx

Well good for you for leaving the other things! Pat on back methinks! xx

1 bite of flapjack to add tonight!! Got it as there were a few bits left over from the free cakes tonight in work - brang it home and a bit fell off so naturally i had to have it! :giggle:

Off to bed now :) weigh in when i get up - lets hope that flapjack don't do any harm!

Finger's crossed for your wi - I'm sure the li'l bit of flapjack won't have made any difference xx

Weigh in when i got up - lost 3/4's of a lb. Why it cant be a full lb i duno but glad i got scales that tell me that otherwise my other scales would've shown a sts!!!

So, its in the right direction, not as much as i want but its there. Going to try real hard this weekend not to eat badly. I might even skip the muffin tonight as i've got to make more for my brothers return on monday so think i'll save it for then.

I was going to have a bottle of wine tonight but have decided against it and have been and bought some vodka instead. I'm drinking too much wine lately and at 750cals a bottle its not good  So back to the vodka i go.

Saturday 9th October

B- 1slice wholemeal toast with peanut butter

*couple aero bubbles
*3squares galaxy truffle

L- 1/2 meal replacement bar.

D- few chips, few prawn crackers, 1 chicken ball, couple bits of hong kong chicken & couple tbsps rice. Not good but i guess thats what i get for not eating properly all day and returning home when the family is gettin chinese delivered & im not in bed :sigh:

*500ml water
*v&c's
*1 glass rose wine

Hi Tanya
Just been browsing through your diary and have seen the C25K Training that you have done. Looked it up online and it looks great. I am not a runner but would love to be. Started back at the gym about 4 weeks ago and also been swimming. Still on TFR right now. Thinking about starting this on monday morning for the three days a week as per plan. Do you have any tips? Do you think i'll be ok doing this on tfr? I seem to be ok for 30mins in the gym x 3 pw.
There is a 5K Santa Dash/Fun run in Liverpool in December that I fancy applying for to get me motivated. Did you train by yourself or with a friend? Sorry about 100 questions! lol
Many Thanks Emma x

Well done on the 3/4lb!

I've been sticking to the V&Cs since hols but I must admit I'd love some wine (OH! I did have that 1 glass last night before Sally ) I was planning on having some on monday after wi but now that the wi is going to be a disaster I may have to rethink :( .. but anyway! Well done you :D xx

Jan!!! :whoopass: you're weigh in will not be a diaster!!!! :D

Not really in the frame to comment on anything besides the fact i've had a little chinese tonight; few chips, few prawn crackers, 1 chicken ball, couple bits of hong kong chicken & couple tbsps rice. Not good but i guess thats what i get for not eating properly all day and returning home starvin marvin just as its being dished up!!! Gotta be sensible from tomorrow!!!! :fingerscrossed:

Will reply to your post properly tomorrow tinker :)

Tanya, well done on getting the scales going in the right direction!!!! Remember 3/4 lb down is a whole lot better than 3/4 up!! So be proud. You have had lots of social occasions so temptations are all around and it is hard to be good all the time. Currently, I swear by weighing daily cos when I see the scales creeping up I can row back for a day or so foodwise. You are doing fab, keep it up.

Hi Tanya, very pretty avatar picture of you. Feel like I have been away for a week, what a bunch of gasbags you all are :) fabby news about your weight, Molly I too weigh daily, first thing. My weight has fluctuated between 5 pounds, but I have a magical number 6 (healthy weight) and as long as its below that i'm happy.
Tanya lol at the guy running past you, but honey you have been poorly and you are still building stamina. xx

Well, that bit of chinese i had came out at 6am this morning! There must be something that doesnt agree with me when having chinese and i'm sure its the sauce that comes with the chicken balls.

Today: Brother is home tomorrow!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :party0049:

Sunday 10th October

B- toasted tea cake

L- 6inch turkey breast subway. packet monster munch.

*packet of walkers squares
*skinny lemon & poppyseed muffin in starbucks with a juice. (I reckon the muffin was still a good 350calories even though it was 'skinny' lol)

D- chicken pie, curly fries & garden peas.

I think get running if you can. It might not be advisable to do long distances whilst on TFR but you could certainly do the first few weeks of C25k whilst on tfr.

Tips, get yourself a decent pair of running trainers, some thick socks and tie your trainers up a little loser - i made the mistake of tying them up tight, wearing thin socks and lost my toenail!

I trained by myself. I prefer to to be honest - got no one holding me back or running on ahead, don't feel like i have to talk i can just plug in and go.

Defo download the c25k podcasts though by Robert Ullery he tells you when to walk and when to run.

No need to be sorry about 100 questions! :p

Thanks Tanya. I'll be coming off TFR shortly anyway. Downloaded week one and ready for monday. I'm gonna book myself on a 5K fun run in December so I get myself motivated.
Will take note of your tips! Thanks
