♥ ~*~ Tanya's Diary No 3 ~*~ ♥

Hope you're feeling a bit better today Tanya for your run. I'm the same as you, coughing every few minutes but not shifting anything. Be so glad once this has gone. Take it easy with the running though, I was at the gym on saturday and could only manage 25 mins on the exercise bike and couldn't do much else cos my chest was quite wheezy.

Today I feel alot better - not so 'chesty' which is good. Also had a fab sleep :D Just eaten my brekkie so guna let that go down then get out for my run .... i have a feeling it's guna hurt

How are you after your run?? xx

Im ok now thanks Jan. The run was a struggle, i walked for a few minutes more than i should have though which isnt too bad so i was just short of running the 4miles.

:)

I think that's great Tan .. well done ;) xx

But i've just had a bite of a sausage and a slither of cheese  What for i ask myself!!!

I'm about to have my tea and then make my christmas cake!!!!!!! It's my nan's recipe and its all her handwriting an everything :) :) The little things

Ah isn't that lovely :) xx

I used to make a lovely Christmas cake but after I got an electric oven it just never turned out the same :( Gave up after a few years ... buy one now  xx

This is the first year i have decided to make one Jan. Usually we just munch the xmas pud my auntie makes (another of nan's recipes) and mince pies but this year i thought i'd give it a go! :D

Just had a nectarine. Guna try the ultraslim shakes tonight - did you get any of them Jan?x

No I didn't. Still got a few maintenance shakes but I'm becoming addicted to the choc whip! It's much more filling than the shakes and keeps me full for a long time. I got some more today and some more LT bars. I find the tesco ones nice enough but they don't fill me up, not for very long anyway, especially the raspberry ones. They're a good stand by though.

Let me know what the shakes are like xx

It was ok Jan. It was very very sweet, had the chocolate one.
Much prefer the bars. I quite like them as they are the same texture and the chocolate one same taste as the exante bars. Glad you told me about them as they are so easy to take to work, ain't breaking me bank budget and I'm getting my 3rd 'meal' :) but I do agree the or bars are much more filling but that yogurty coating was just too scrummy on them!!

Did you go back to your chemist for the bars and whip? That whip certainly makes a huge bowl full don't it!!! Xxx

Sure dooooo ;) yum!

I had to go to a 3rd chemist. Can't remember if I said last week but mine didn't have any bars so I went to another one and they served me with them with no trouble but they only had 7 bars so I doubt they'd have got more in that quick. I went to the 3rd one around here that does them. The pharmacist said he couldn't just sell them to me I had to fill in a medical questionaire. This was a bit of a pain but I was congratulating myself on remembering the names of the tabets I'm on and the years of my operations etc when he came back and said ' that was a load of rubbish I just told you. I don't need the forms for maintenance products because you're not in ketosis'. Grrrrrrr!!

Interestingly, the middle chemist was £2 cheaper for the 14 products than either mine or today's!! Also - today's was pushing Celebrity Slim, don't know why , unless they've got a lot of stock to shift! I had a quick look, wondering about their bars but they were £2.25 each!! LT ones are just inder £1.60 and the tesco ones are only about 59p at the mo!!! xx

I'm quite liking the discipline of this to be honest. Again - it's when a lot of choice is taken away the mission becomes so much easier!!

Jaaaaaan!! You was in my dream last night! We were both walking around the Asda supermarket that I go to having a right old mooch around the cake section and stocking our trolly up with loads of cakes that were reduced!!!!! :rotflmao:

Thats a bugger that they are £2 dearer - why do they do that?!!!!
Defo having little choice helps alot. Its why i like to plan so then i don't like to stray from the plan.

Heard from my little brother today. He is FINALLY at Bastion!!!!!!!!! :D :D :D He's having a field day as he's got all the boxes we've sent him that never made it to his fob so he's got vodka, sweets, crisps, magazines galore whilst he's waiting for his flight. He will be home Monday now!!!! :D Cannot flippin wait! :D

Felt a little hungry in work last night - not sure why. But i'm thinking i defo need to have carbs on the days i run. Will factor this in next week for sure. Friday i might have to add something to my lunch after my run - see how i feel.

Thursday 7th October

B- 2 egg 1 egg white omelette with ham & 20g grated cheese. squirt of ketchup

*banana

Tanya thats brill that your brother is now at bastion and enjoying all his treats, he sure deserves them. Hope he is home soon. Extra carbs on run day sounds fine to me, enjoy!
I'm inspired by these maintenance products, I got my freebies the other day so may try the choc whip for lunch tommorrow, its a big bowl you say? Result! x

Yeah, from what i remember the chocoalte whip makes quite a lot!!!! Although i couldnt stomach it! :giggle: x

This I know...I will be able to stomach it lol. My fave tfr shake was the chocolate mousse made really thick, I LOVED it so this new un will be just fine...mind you I was sure I would like the flapjacks...was wrong there.

Ahhh Jan loved making the shakes into mousse's too! :) I just stuck with chocolate shake and the occasional soup my entire time! xx

Then you did more than amazing as the diet was boring enough with the limited choices i had. Just shows how much willpower you have when needed which will help you get into a good routine with your diet and exercise now eh? xx

In theory yeah but in reality it don't work like that lol I wish I still had all the will power I had whilst on tfr but now I'm faced with all the choices it's much much harder! Still, I'm slot better than where I was :D

Oh hope your enjoying your Asti! I used to love that stuff!! :) x

Awwwwww great news about your Bro :D:D:D ... I bet it was like christmas for him with all the boxes :giggle: ... not long now then :)

Good idea about the carbs when you run!

Sorry I spoiled your dream ;) ... well - if I hadn't been there you wouldn't have bought any cakes, so soooooorrrrrreeeeeeee! :D

I'm still being 'good' but I confess I'm feeling a little more 'munchy' than I was  .. I've had a few bits of chicken here and there that weren't 'on plan' but better than what I could have stuffed my face with. xx

Jan it was a good dream! Shame we didnt get to eat them all though as i had a phonecall from blinkin littlewoods that woke me up

Not to worry about your picking, it's hardly worth worrying about just a few bits of meat. I'm feeling rather munchy today too - i reckon i'm getting a totm as i have 2 MASSIVE and i mean MASSIVE spots on my chin and usually im quite lucky when it comes to spots! and my dream about cakes didnt help!

I have just joined a runners forum and posted up my diet what i eat etc on days i run and that so im hoping someone will be able to help me on there :) I defo need some form of carb either the night before or for breakfast as my runs are getting longer and further. xxx
