Jeepers cant believe that about the BMI for you and your brother Tan?? Thats a bit worrying isnt it! Thankfully you see past it and know your not flaming obese but someone could easily get hung up on that and get obsessed!
 
Ridiculous isn't it!

Just munched 2baby carrots with a teaspoon of elf mayo mixed with a bit of sweet chilli sauce.
 
Sounds yummy!! My son robbed my carrot sticks today the little rascal!!!

Yeah he does love carrots! They are his favourite vegetable.....I had to laugh at him today he was on like the last carrot when I walked in and I was like Jack what do you think your doing and he said so seriously........."keeping my eyes good, Alex (his best friend) doesnt like carrots so he cant see"!!! Honestly do not know where he pulls this from!
 
Haha I've always been told carrots are good for your sight, they help you see in the dark! How true it is I duno though lol x
 
ha ha yeah I've been told the same but we never said it to him! Perhaps the girls in creche say it lol Honestly they take everything so literally its very amusing :)
 
I love little kids come out with things like that. My niece is 5 but the youngest and she copies stuff the older ones says and it just sounds so funny coming out of someone that little!
As for the bmi thing totally agree. There are so many other factors that should be thought about as well like % fat etc.
 
Aftnoon ... I woke up thinking it was thursday :( :( :(

Run today - i'm either going to do 60mins or 90mins depending on how I feel when I get out there.

Wednesday 15th June

*Run (1:02:28 5.19miles)

B- porridge, s.smilk, 7.5g ground flaxseed, tsp sugar. 200ml oj.

*banana
*200ml s.smilk

L- grilled pork loin, brocolli, lemon cous cous. lf yog.

D- fresh pineapple. boiled egg.

Got to use the pineapple I bought monday so going to have that in work insead of a meal bar unless I have the pineapple after my lunch with my yogurt and take the meal bar to work after all???

I did that Monday, I really thought it was Thursday!

Your food always looks delish, I must try be more adventurous, maybe after hol I'll give it a go x x
 
Run today was horrid, walked a few times. Within 5mins the sweat was litterally running off of me.
I did 5.19miles in 1:02:28
Pace of 12min miles.
Not good.

I'm thinking this is either down to the really muggy weather the past two days (its been really close temperature wise) or the fact i'm on 2meal replacements and 1 meal.

I think I need to go back to having 2meals if I want to carry on running. Cuz surely I can't of lost my fitness after the 1/2 by only doing 2 runs in 2 weeks?!!! can i?!!
 
I wouldn't have thought so hon but sure the runner's forum will know better. I think it could have something to do with the weather as you say.
When I read your 1st post about doing the run I read it that you'd run 19miles!! :eek: I actually said WHAT!!?? outloud :D xx

Totally agree about the weather Tanya, it's been so close down here lately hasn't it.

Sure the runners forum will offer brill advice but I tend to agree with you, all this exercise surely needs more than 2 meal replacement bars. You'll sort it out though and I bet you'll get your fitness back to the level that you want, easy!
 
Two TFR products plus a meal is probably just about 1000- 1200 cals a day. In my opinion, I think that is scant for someone training not just to finish but for fast times which will burn even more energy. Hopefully the runners forum have a definite view.
 
I agree hun. Your net cals are probably quite low after a run. Could you maybe just add in a bit more protein?
 
I'm still undecided on whether it is the weather (the heat) or the lack of food (energy).

Runnersforum suggest I dont use meal bars instead have proper food.

Today i'm planning on a hill session - I feel this is going to hurrrrrrrrrrrrt!!!!

Thursday 16th June

*hill reps session run:
1.5mile run there
4x hill reps (hill is 140yards)
1.2mile run back

Total mileage: 3.32
Time: 42:51
