Well :fingerscrossed: but got a few things coming up ... Stevies birthday night out next sat, fish & chips on the Sunday then my friends birthday on the 8th probably another night out there then I have a few days off work 12th-16th with my birthday in-between & I'm having a BBQ and more drinks then me & Stevie are off to longleat safari park & hopefully a Jamie Oliver restaurant then coupe weeks after that it's holiday!!!!!!! How am I guna lose weight with all that?! Lol

Edit: having a Morgan spiced & diet coke maybe a couple more ...

Quite enjoying my night on my own tonight. I can't remember the last time I had a Saturday evening to myself!

Yikes, so, just poured myself a morgan spiced & d.coke and on the back on the bottle it tells me its 50cals for 25mls. I thought I had poured 25mls but was curious so went and measured it and actually poured just under 50mls. amazing how we misjudge it at home.... Now sat here with a measuring jug, going to measure them out :rolleyes:

Cals over today :( I dont suspect i'll have much more drinkies tonight though maybe just one or two more.

It's depressing how the calories add up for drinks :( Not sure I can actually give it up on a weekend either - its so nice after a long week to just chill with a couple. Maybe if I can curb the naughtyness of a weekend and limit the carbs I can do this?! :sigh:

Yep, depressing us the word. 25mls is just a mouthful!! Lol. I did the same one night with gin but got rid of the measure very quickly.
In maintenance mode, we can manage a few regular drinks. I don't know if it works when we need to shift a few pounds. I know i have to knock drink on the head when I want to lose weight. The only way to have a few drinks and lose weight is to go very low on cals for food, but is that really healthy? It's not in my opinion and neither is it easy.

It is v.depressing! I think I'd rather go low cal food wise on a weekend rather than lose my alcohol?! That sounds bad lol

Or maybe I could give up the wine? That's 630cals a bottle but then I'd drink that in spirits easy.

Crap this is hard! I want TFR back :( that was so easy!
 
I have a particular glass I use, and if the vodka is poured to a certain pattern, I know its 50mls. I wouldn't pour anything less ;)
 
Lol I've got a certain glass to & thought I was pouring a standard measure but infect it was a double atleast I know now!
 
Just remembered two more commitments; wedding 27th aug booze cruise 28th august !!!!! Jeez!!!!!!! I better work hard at keeping my food in line :sigh:
 
Dieting would be so easy if life did not get in our way!!!!
 
Gosh you are a busy bee aren't you??!! So many lovely social commitments coming up :). You'll just have to be extra specially on the ball in between won't you! Don't forget you've just done an all inclusive holiday without gaining anything to speak of. So you know that you CAN enjoy and indulge yourself without necessarily doing too much damage :) xx
 
True Jan :) got to keep focused!

Sooooo tired. I didn't go to sleep till gone 1am too hooked on Glee then I didn't sleep well as I kept waking as I knew Stevie would be back soon the I woke at 5:30 and had a text from our friend saying he'd crashed on the sofa & she's put a quilt over him hope that was ok lol so tried to get back to sleep but couldn't.

Plan of action today; get this overtime done. Watch more Glee. 8pm bed & stay there till atleast 6am then got to run tomorrow, circuits wed & another run either thur/fri. Back to 3x a week.

Remembered when I got home from overtime that I had to make Stevies birthday cake today, even though its not till tuesday but were working so he wanted it today. Just basic victoria sponge filled with buttercream, chopped up toffee crisp and topped with buttercream & twirl.

I had a taste of the buttercream and a 1cm piece of toffee crisp, put 100cals for it at a guess.
 
I can't just leave one glass of wine in the bottle that's like throwing it away as I won't drink now untill next weekend so Cals today 1,678.

Dont think I've done too bad food wise this weekend odd little pick but nothing major :) I'll be happy if I can keep it like that or one day crack it all together :hmm:

Quite looking forward to it actually. Need to seriously get back to 3x a week even if its only running 2.

Had the best sleep everrrrr last night. Think I fell asleep around 10:30 and I didnt get out of bed untill 13:45 today. Woke up few times but fell straight back. I sooooo needed that!

I'm off for a run around Burrator with my littler brother in a min and going to test out the new heart rate monitor I bought.

Sneaky weighed this morning and i've droped that 0.75lbs i put on .. :fingerscrossed: its not just dehydration from the wine last night!

*might be some changes to the menu as im going shopping so will probably buy something I want today lol

Do you get messages with that running thingy you got then Tanya?.......just going by the facebook thingymajig..........lol. All this modern technology sometimes gets me a little bit lost, and I hasten to add, feeling old.........haha.

Mary, it doesnt tell me what you wrote but if someone writes on the post that says ive just started my run then it comes through my headphones as a big cheer (people clapping and whooping!) which is nice :)

Run today was very very tough. Bad idea to go to Burrator. It was so unbelieveably hot up there. My pace wasnt too bad but it could have been alot better.

Cals burnt according to my hrm was 349 but that doesnt let me input my weight but according to my phone that lets me input my weight and doesnt count my heart rate is 500.

Think I will stick to the hrm and watch that I got :hmm:
