So, lunch has changed. Got out of the freezer what I thought was chicken but was actually a pork loin, the leanest ever not one ounce of fat! So i dry fried it with the pepper and added a tbsp of sweet chilli sauce.

Still under 1,400 cals for the day too :)

Well done on a great loss whilst eating and exercising. Deffo has to give you the leg up to stay on track for that holiday figure. Keep it up!

totm arrived today :cry: now im wondering if the loss was because of this. Have to wait for next week to tell I guess. And to top it I think one of my big toes is becoming ingrown. It's v.sore and from what I remember last time this is how it happened. Not sure what I can do about it though?

Mum bought me 2!!!!!!!!!!!! bags of grab bags wotsits today, I appreciate it an all but I wish she would have given them to me on a monday or something when its much easier to resist. Today is sandwich day and i'm majorly tempted to have a bag tonight with my lunch ....

Run today. Really really not feeling like it, feel tired and my legs are killing me but got to suck it up! :rolleyes:

Totm would have made me heavier not lighter! Maybe you'd have had a bigger gain!

Did you do your run? I hate that 'I really don't want to do this' feeling ... difference is I give into it more often than not - when it comes to exercise that is! xx
 
Hmmm good point Jan. Who knows, im hoping its not a fluke and im hoping and pray that I can atleast curb the picking this weekend considering the amount of alcohol that is going to be consumed! :rolleyes:

Yep, went for my run. Wanted to do 4miles but just couldnt. Did 3.11 miles, pace of 12.01 a mile and 414 cals burnt. Not bad, got a new 5k personal best but I felt really really sluggish.

Im not sure whether its the heat lately or whether its the way im feeling or maybe a combination of both but I have been really struggling with my running. I've kinda lost the buzz. I think I need to have a stern chat with myself and tell myself why I love to run and just get out there and run and stop worrying about time and distance etc. But with the 10k just 9weeks away and with a holiday in between I can't help but worry :mad:
 
Worrying about it can't help. It's probaby because you had the break with the last holiday etc. Can you maybe get some new inspiration from the runners forum you belong to? xx

Im sure i'll be ok Jan. I think its cuz im thinking too much of where I was a couple of months ago, running distances up to 10miles, 15miles over a week. I think I need to focus on the 10k right now. Maybe go at a cooler time of day morning/late evening and then once the 10k is done then I can focus on my next 1/2. Worrying about it all isnt helping.

I will get there, i've done it before I know I can do it i'm just going through a rubbish patch I guess! :rolleyes: x
 
Well done on the personal best on the 5k Tanya, thats super.

I would agree that the TOTM would have given you a gain, so your 2lb loss could possibly have been more, so whooopeee.

Tan, I am sure you can get your head back into your running, sometimes you can go to bed thinking one thing and the complete opposite the next morning - sending you positive vibes hon xxx
 
Yeah - wouldn't it be great (and easier!) if we could feel the same way about things all the time. We could all keep in the right dieting headspace all the time then! ;) These things seem to go in cycles ... hang on in there Tan - the right attitude will come back I'm sure :) xx

Finished off last night with 2 squares of my fave dark chocolate. Just had a craving for it in work so went to the shop after and got a bar. Total cals for yesterday were 1,139.

Im such an idiot. I read the pizza box wrong and its actually 446cals for 1/4!!! not 1/2!! So im going to have 1/3rd before I go out.

Saturday 30th July

B- 2slices b.s.l toast 226
peanut butter 120

*square dark chocolate 41

L/D- 1/3rd pizza 595

Total (without alcohol)= 982

*going to have 1 mixed fruits cider
*morgan spiced
(before I go out!)

Then when out will probably share a bottle of wine with my friend then move onto spirits
 
I've never had Morgan's but if Mary prefers to stick to the voddie I probably would too ;)
