Sounds good though Tanya, and nice to get the cheering and clapping. Well done on the time, I thought it was fabulous.
 
Oh the time was v.bad mary. But I have put that down to the heat. Next run is friday, 4miles and i'm hoping to get around the 48min mark, if not less!
 
Been told to go by the cals burnt on my phone by 2fitness freaks so thats what i'll do for running but for the circuits class i'll use the hrm& watch to work out the cals for that session only :)
 
That gadget is just an app on my phone mary, magic aint it!! :) lol

I initially bought the hrm so I can work out cals burnt at my circuits class so will just keep it for that :)

I do feel 100% more positive today, maybe it was the sleep I needed?!

Although have just munched 2x chocolate milk biscuits & 1x 99calorie areo

It's Stevie's birthday today, no treats though as we both have work so were going out for drinks on saturday and sunday having fish & chips :)

Oh I'm sure I'll make up for the no treats this weekend with alcohol. Going to still try be v.good with food (in particular picking) although we are having 1/2 a Chicago down pizza each before we go out - something like 440cals so not too bad I guess! Xx

Booked in for my gait analysis today. Monday at 11! Stevie is getting this done for me and buying me new runners for my birthday :) Hopefully this might help a bit with the knee issue too.

Circuits today were tough! and I dont just mean tough I mean TOUGH TOUGH!! :giggle:

Working in pairs again with the same 16exercises but this time when youre running you run to a bench do a work out on a bench (step ups, bunny hops, inverted press ups etc) then run to the wall and back. I was knackered half way through and my legs were like jelly.

My flippin watch paused part way through as i my hand mustve pushed against in doing some form of press up or something so in the 45mins it said i was working out I burned 250 calories. so for the full hour I make that about 333, going to round it up to 350cals burnt as im not sure that this thing is dead accurate.

Doing a calculator online inputing my weight it tells me i burnt 616 ... which seems more likely as running for 44mins burns 500cals and this circuit session is alot more intense but still, i'll stick with my bmr and go for 350 burnt.
 
Wow does sound tough hun! Really admire you doing this and running. Tis very confusing with all the cals burnt! Different sites tell you different hings but I guess if you go with the same way of working it out each time it should be ok!
 
OMG Tanya, you make me knackered just reading what you do at the circuit training, but really pleased for you that you are enjoying it so much - it really is half the battle to do something you really like doing.

Duh to the watch stopping, thats disappointing.
 
Once again you and I are on the same page Mary ... I was thinking OMG OMG - reading all that circuit stuff. Just pushing Mum's wheelchair round has me K-nackered!!!

YAY!!! I have lost 2lbs! :) Leaves me 4lbs to lose to take me under 12.7 before my holiday, 4 weeks to go :fingerscrossed:

But, I have a heavy weekend this weekend but I think if I can not pick at food and stick to 2/3meals on sat and sun I might be ok :confused: (sunday is going to be the challenge!!).

I've got sore calfs & thighs (at the back) sore upper arms and a sore belly .... i'm paying for yesterdays circuits!!! but, no pain no gain I guess!
