Morning/Evening whichever lol Got up at 6pm today! Concious decision though for 2reasons; didnt get to sleep till gone 9 and want to run later so its cooler so will be running at 7pm today which hopefully should be alot cooler.

Ended off last night with 2crackers with pickle one with ham one with cheese when I got home from work. Knew I shouldve had a meal before work!

Tuesday 2nd August

Used to love space raiders when I was younger! Didn't know that you could still get them!
 
How did the run go??

I took the 2 older boys to the other son's house to mind the 4 boys while DIL went for a run with DD (they're both doing the Liverpool marathon in October). When DD arrived she looked awful. She'd worked a night and hadn't yet been to bed. DIL said leave it, it's fine & DD said NO I need to run ..... ?????? Maybe you can understand this Tan but not meeeeee ;) (I'm not sure she's really MY DD you know! ;))xx

Jan, totally 100% understand that!!!!!!!!!

The run was ok, 2.95miles 35:06 pace 11:53 399cals burnt.

My app is also telling me i've done 8runs total mileage of 27.17 ... well over a marathon and ive done that in 5hours29mins. That'd be a nice first marathon time ;)

Got the best pace ive had in 4runs so not too bad but I was very concious of the way I was running just becuase I saw for myself yesterday what im doing to my ankles running in these trainers so i've decided run today, circuits tomorrow and 1run next week and circuits then thats it till I get new trainers on the saturday. Although saying that I might get to friday and feel really guilty and decide I need to run :rolleyes:

Oh and I am defo going back to having potatoes. Thinking whilst running today when I was training for the 1/2 I always had baby boiled pots with my main meal of the day in the week and I always felt ok not sluggish or anything so this is now the plan of action. Getting those pots in me - maybe thats what my body likes when running?!!
 
Maybe! It's all about getting to know yourself, your body and what works best for you isn't it hon :)

I knew you'd understand my DD .... not sure I do ;) xxx
 
LOL!!!! Its totally natural Jan, its the guilt you feel if you don't run that eats away at ya!!

I defo think the pots work for me. As far as I can remember I was fine eating them whilst training for the 1/2. I know some people swear by pasta but think i'll stick to potatoes and if no improvement i'll have to try something else.

Still sticking to calorie counting with it though :) x
 
When I get the urge to do some exercise I lie down till it passes ;) :giggle: xx
 
You should definitely listen to you body and if it worked before go with it chick! How many weeks is it to your next big run? You started counting yet?!x

Yeah, I'm with Jan. Very sensible approach.
 
Someone in work has just given me a chocolate filled, layer of choc on top & chocolate curls on top krispy Kreme donut!!!!!!!

I took it to be polite but now it's guna sit there & stare at me for the next 4 hours!!!! :mad: I won't eat it though I won't I won't I won't!!!!

Infact going to text my little brother right now telling him got him a donut then I really can't eat it! :giggle:
 
Happy to report I didn't scoff the donut but my brother did!! :p

Circuits today :) but i've had a rubbish sleep so who knows how i'll get on.

Well done on resisting the donut! Don't think I could have been that strong! They do a lemon meringue pie one which I love nom nom nom.
