Last night was torture. All I thought about was how much I wanted to be back in Turkey :cry:

Anyways, had a nice sleep. Went for run 2 today. Ankle was fine when I woke up so was the knee. Only thing that hurt was my thighs but thats just cuz I havn't run in a while.

Tuesday 13th September

B210k w1d2 :)


B- porridge, s.smilk, sugar, oj

*1/2 banana after run

L- minted lamb hot pot big soup (yum!!)
1 topper of white (oops!) bread with butter
shape lf yog

*skips

D- eat natural bar
apple

(will get back to counting calories next week)
 
It's a real shame when you get back from hols and all you want to be is back there. Know exactly how you feel about that one Tanya.

Sounds as though the running is going well. Must be great to really enjoy an exercise that you can do to suit you (and it's free too!!). You'll be in top-top shape for the next half marathon. Is your dad doing it with you again this time or are you braving this one alone?

Had a dream about holiday last night - woke up sad :( but I have a shift to look forward to so hopefully that'll keep me occupied.

Bev, i'm not entirely sure I want to run next years 1/2 marathon. Although it'd be nice to smash my previous time my focus right now is the 10k then after that i'll make a decision as to whether I want to do 1/2 marathon no2.

If I do then I think i'll be doing it on my own. Which wont bother me. It's even doubtful at the minute whether my dad will run the 10k as he suffers with v.bad knees and at the minute he is in agony with them.

Wednesday 14th September

B- bitesize shredded weat, s.s milk, oj

*slice of banana soreen (was cutting a slice off for stevies lunch and it cut itself and put itself in my mouth :rolleyes:)

L- turkey breast, lettuce, cucumber, tomatoe, spring onion, sweetcorn, dollop lf coleslaw, beetroot.
shape yog.
*1 choc eclair (toffee variety)

D- skips. Apple.

*1 can of redbull (as much as I hate the stuff it was needed & has done the trick)

I know how you feel Tanya, it is horrible returning from holidays, especially to the miserable British weather.

Did you ever find out the song from the guy in the animation team?
 
Yes Mary, he said the animation team said it was called Turkiye but I have looked and still can't find the version that was played there :( nevermind!

Thanks T. I have been feeling really great with food this week for some reason. Despite the white bread & toffee eclairs i've been feeling ok and like i'm doing ok. I'm not too worried about what the scales say tomorrow either, which is weird for me! :giggle: I guess I feel pretty content right now :rolleyes: (i'm even going to have chippy for tea tomorrow - i've been saying this for aaaaages & still havent had it!!)

Today was run number 3 which means week 1 of b210k is complete. I'm undecided whether I want to do week 2 next week or do another day or 2 on week 1 - see how I feel come monday.

Thursday 15th September

*B210k w1d3 .... week 1complete. 12miles ran this week :D :D :D

I have been eating more carbs this week Tanya, bread, pasta, rice etc, but I dont feel bloated like I used to, but I haven't been having a lot of protein with the carbs. I am wondering if its like the Slimming World diet, green days??? My trousers are definitely loose, even though I have not weighed, I feel like I am the same, or even a little less - weird.........lol.

Well done on completing the first week of your runs. 12 miles, good eh!! Sounds as though you're enjoying it again which is the main thing.
 
Great stuff Mary :) and Bev, yes, I have the buzz back at last!!!! :D

Weigh in today and i'm up 0.5lbs. Im ok with that. Im going to enjoy this weekend as we are heading down to Newquay to mum & dad's van - a nice family weekend mum, dad, me, stevie, 2 brothers and brothers gf with plenty of wine & vodka ;) Then its down to buisness to lose a stone. First goal though is to get back into the 11st brackets before November 9th - which if based on today would mean i'd have to lose 10lbs - so ok, maybe as close to the 11st bracket as I can :p

Today is going to be a naughty day be prepared :eek:

Friday 16th September

B- 2slices wm toasted, chocolate spread

L- fish & chips.
hazelnut magnum.

D- skips, apple, banana.

*1/2 can red bull

7weeks 2 sleeps till race day :)

Fish & chips were lovely.
I had the majority of the portion and now having a magnum & I don't feel guilty one bit :D fully expected to but it's nice for a change not to!

Can't wait for my weekend.... Just a rubbish 5 hour shift to get through! X

Saturday 17th September

B- 2slices wm toast, butter, black coffee, choc digestive

*couple handfuls sweet chilli crisps
*1 finger kit kat
*1/2 curly wurly
*3mini cheddars

L/D- thin steak - bbq'd, bacon - bbq'd, pickled egg, slice bread, hp sauce, mixed salad, 10 chips

*rose wine
*vodka & d.c
*probably a berry rattler later at some point ;)

The weather was fine but very very windy!!!!!

Wore v.high heels out last night!! hobbled a bit buuuut the ankle is fine today!!!! :D and after seeing the great north run on tv i'm decided, I wana beat this years 1/2 marathon time so next year, i'm in! ;)

Sunday 18th September

B- 2slices wm, 2sausages, 2crispy bacon, 1 fried egg, hp sauce

*handful doritos

L/D- stopped in route 38 on the way home (like an american diner place, Bev do you know it?) and didn't want a meal but wanted something so me and stevie shared a starter; mexican nachos & a desert; pecan pie with ice-cream & whipped cream.

*2 mixed fruit ciders
*4v&dc's

*1crumpet with cheese & garlic mayo
*salted peanuts

Defo back onto calorie counting tomorrow :D

PECAN PIE - I WANT IT, I WANT IT.............I love pecan nuts with maple syrup.....oh my mouth is watering.

Well done on getting the killer heels back on, and good luck on your decision to do the half marathon again. You can do it chick xxx
 
That was the first time i've had pecan pie and i'm defo a huge fan!!!!
 
Sorry Tanya, never heard of Route 38. Sounds good though, might look it up!!

I love pecans with maple syrup too, lovely!!!

Glad you had a good weekend. It was really windy down here too, yesterday was gale force! Just a practice for winter!

So happy you've decided to do the half marathon next year, you'll easy beat this year's time. Love watching the Great North Run too. Very inspiring.
