So glad you feel appreciated when you do these shifts - I should think so too!!
I don't think you need to worry about 1 haribo & 1 mini flapjack hon!! I bet you more than worked them off!!!
Let's know what the chicken's like. I've wondered about using those bags but wasn't too sure about the way it keeps all the fat in. I suppose it depends which bits of the chicken you use. Be interesting to know if you feel it's no more fatty than any other method. :) xx

Yet again I've failed with the no alcohol (whyyyyyy can't I go a weekend without it?!) sat in the garden with my book & a v.large glass of White ;)

I will let you know Jan. We've got chicken breasts so shouldn't be too fatty. Stevie has gone out to the pub so might not have it tonight might be tomorrow.

X

Awww now come on .... how often are we able to sit outside with a nice glass of vino in October in this country!! That DEFFO needs celebrating!! Don't be so hard on yourself ... :) xxx

Jan, the chicken done in the bag was delish!! It cooked the chicken to perfection. We had the garlic one and it was actually more spicy than garlic so if you don't like spice i wouldnt bother with that one :)

Oooo thanks for telling me - particularly as I don't like spicey!! I'll keep away from them I think.

What's apple pie cheese? xx

Cheese that tastes like apple pie ;) its very cinnamoney!! x

Hmmmmmm .. not sure I'd like that either - methinks you and I have very differing tastes .. just apart from v&dcs!! xxx

Just had 2 squares of milka daim :dog: weigh in Friday is going to be rubbish

I am thinking of going back to a VLCD (exante) after my 10k run just for 4weeks I'm really wanting to get back into the 11s by Xmas and maybe get even lighter - fed up of hovering around this same weight, been hovering around this weight for a good year now :(

Rant over sorry! Lol x

Glad the chicken was so nice, been thinking about trying that too. Might do that this weekend now! I bet your weigh in wont be as bad you think.

If you do decide to do exante now they have different packs. Just shakes and bars or just bars and soups etc. Much better I think especially as I didn't like the soups much!!

I've just started exante for a month - got the shakes and bars and they taste much nicer than last time...

Not long now until ur run :) I don't know how u do it Tanya x

It's an idea im toying with so nothing set in stone yet. I'll see how the weight loss goes between now and then and then make a decision after my run. Its good that theyve done shakes & bars as I didn't go much on the soups either!

Today I woke up v.late 5:30!! then I was groggy and really didn't want to run but mushed my a$$ and got out there. I left my house at 18:45 and not long into it it was dark which was really nice to run in! I havnt ran in the dark in months!!!!! So today, despite the lack of motivation to start the run was actually FAB! first 17mins no stops :D 2nd 17mins 1 extra stop and the 3rd 17mins 1extra stop and a teeny stop to change songs! :D v.pleased with today.

Congrats on todays run ... glad you were so pleased with it - that must be very gratifying :)

Looks like you've got all your plans in place and no reason why they shouldn't work for you .... It was being stuck around the same weight seemingly unable to shift it that sent me back onto TFR a few months ago and I must say I was very pleased with the result.
That didn't stop me putting loads of it back on whilst on holiday of course:eek: but I hope not to have to TFR again to get rid of it ... though I'd never rule it out.

Best of lck with your plans :):)

Incidentally my daughter and daughter-in-law have decided to try for the Liverpool Marathon on Sunday (you may remember me saying DD couldn't run coz of her hip & DIL has an ankle issue!)
Anyhoo they've decided as they've paid their fees they're going to start it anyway and see how they go. They're making out that their ambition is to make it onto the 'sweeper' bus - which picks up anyone doing an average of less than 15 minute miles (even I could probably walk that! ;)) Neither of them expect to finish and Jenna (DD) won't risk her hip in light of being fit and training for London. xxx

Ah, it is annoying that i've been hovering around this weight for a good year now so im leaning more towards the idea of tfr just for 4 weeks to shift it - should easily lose the 15lbs i want to within that time. But, I will see how the next 4 weeks go, and if i'm close enough I might just do 2mrbs and 1 low carb meal. But that'd mean i'd still be able to drink  lol

Awwww good for them Jan. Wish them luck from me, i'm sure they will do fab whatever mileage they do but aslong as they know not to push themselves too much and risk making their injuries worse! (i'm sure theyre wise to that though!:p) xx

It's frustrating when you feel like you've been 'trying' for so long yet at the end of it all are the same weight BUT - if you hadn't been 'trying' you'd have probably been a good stone heavier!!

DD & DIL won't push themselves beyond the sensible - they've both run marathons before - know they're not trained and not fit enough so are resigned to not finishing. This running thing seems to be so addictive though!! xx

Well done on the runs Tanya! Your apple pie cheese did make me laugh!
