Congrats on the pb and the loss Tanya, fantastic! So glad things are going your way, you work so hard it's about time you felt as though things were going in the right direction. Keep up the fantastic work, it's paying off!!
 
Yesterday I was fragile!! Thought i'd be going out for a couple of drinks, 4:30am and I stroll in the door! Have flashbacks of eating cheesy chips & some skewer meat :eek:

Up at 7:30 for work, that was fun! then onto a baby shower for an hour then a meal with the family. I was absolutly knackered come 11pm last night. Have had 12hours sleep and still want more! LOL

Food hasnt been too much but the cals of it all have.

Saturday was a bottle of wine oh and a bag of squares before going out. Then a cider & some coronas & a glass of wine out and then the 'takeaway' food.

Sunday 9th October

B- branston pickle mini cheddars 260
lucozade (can't remember what one I had so can't remember the cals)

L/D - Salad bar: coleslaw, beetroot & sweetcorn 300 (guesstimate)
chicken, bacon & cheese bbq stack with chips 980
shared a toffee waffle sundae for desert 270

*2 budweisers 260
*1 fruit cider 240

*picked at some crisps & cheddars during the evening so probably around another 300

Total = 2,610

Very bad! Now got 10days to lose whatever gain i've done over this weekend and then some! :sigh: Whyyyyyy do I do it to myself?!!!

Apart from the blowout this weekend, you seem to be doing really well Tanya. Running is going well for you and you seem pretty much in control of food with a good varied menu. Keep up the good work.
 
Why do we do it indeed! As you said to me - if we had the answer to that we'd be millionaires!!!

The cals are low today, only 920 but that isnt going to hurt after the weekends antics!
 
Saying that just scoffed a hob nob biccie! I can't help but when I eat one of these think to myself that that's a mile running to burn that :rotflmao: so cals now 1,015

LOL!! Why do any of us do any of it???!!! ;) ... Come on though - we're all as bad as each other BUT we do all rein it in and sort it out eventually. I firmly and truly believe this is because we stick around on here. Otherwise we'd just keep going up and up!! Jmho :eek: xx
 
Yup, you are right Jan. Without this place I have no doubt i'd be alot heavier than I am now!

Today seems like a waste of a day already. I got up really late, 6:15 but I didnt get to sleep untill gone 8:30 which is v.late for me! Then when I did wake up I thought i'd try a run without breakfast. Big mistake. My legs & feet ached (thats not to do with breakfast I don't think) and I felt so drained. Thats probably a combination of no breakfast and no food for well over 12hours and I had just woken up. Won't be doing that again in a hurry.

I was meant to do 3x 18min runs today. Only managed two. Feel guilty but its a lesson learnt.

To top my day off i've had a row with Stevie. Sometimes he really just doesnt understand and it makes me so angry! :mad:

Its now gone 9 and i've still not had anything to eat. I'm not hungry but am going to make myself eat. I can't be slacking on the nutrition this close to a race day and especially after todays appauling run performance.

Tuesday 11th October

It was a trial, it didn't work & I certainly won't be doing it again. No matter how late I get up.

Got a shift tomorrow so going to use that as an opportunity to get up earlier. Want my routine of getting up at 4ish back!!! :( lol x
 
My meal plans up to sunday ... Got to watch thur, fri & sun as i'm under 1,200 calories which isnt good. Couple days like yesterday and today maybe ok after such a rubbish weekend but the rest of the week I doubt its going to do me any good. If I do get hungry then i've got some tinned fruit (in juice) and if needs be I can go and get some more to build up the cals. Could even add in a boiled egg or something if I get hungry so ive got options :)

Very hungry this morning after work. Not surprised really consider cal intake. Munched 3tiny bits of tikka turkey chunks (Bernard Matthews stuff u can buy in the fridge isle) and 2 baby beetroots in vinegar.
 
Great you've got your meals planned out again Tanya, that really seems to work for you. Your snack earlier looked really healthy too.

Hope you sorted things out with Stevie.
 
That won't have done any harm ... I love beetroot! (not so fussy on the tikka flavouring meself but hey ho ;)) Hope you're having a good sleep :) xx

Yup, I do definatley work best from a plan! :)
Bit of a change to the weeks plan as the meal I made today actually has made enough for 3 meals so going to have it friday aswell.
Little bit worried about being around the 1,200 mark. I know the last 10days before weigh in on friday I think the majority of days were around 1,300 and some even 1,400. I hope this isnt going to affect me in anyway :fingerscrossed:

Finished shift earlier than expected, blessing really as i'm sooooo tired and now i've a headache coming on.

I did have a pickled egg whilst waiting for my lunch to re-heat :eek: so total cals for today 1,310.
