Didnt go out for dinner but I've had the 2glasses of wine along with 2 v&d.c's

I hope the 10k will be a doddle but all I care about is getting 1hr10 & under! :fingerscrossed:

Morning!! Bit of news for you ...... I'm going to be an auntie!!!!!!!!!!!
My brother and his girlfriend are having a baby!!! It was planned and we've known for a few weeks but haven't been able to say anything. I'm actually pretty damn excited. I went with her this morning to her first midwife meeting thingy and she is 10weeks&5days approx!

Today I got up ridiculously early 5:30!!! Was going to go for a run but now i'm not. This weeks so hectic trying to fit my runs in - i've got 2 meetings, tuesday & wednesday so i'm going to have to run home from the meeting tomorrow and then run thursday and friday.

Monday 17th October

I've already congratulated you on fb Tan but you can't have too many good wishes! I'd love to have been an auntie .. all of the pleasure without any of the responsibilities .. I had to wait to be a grandma - when you're a bit old to do a lot of the fun things so make the most of it and have a ball!!! xxx

I've known for months and months that they were planning on trying so today really has been a long time coming now that I can finally tell everyone!! LOL

Next year is going to be hectic! I have 3 cousins getting married and leanne is having a baby all within 6months!
The approx due date she was given today is 2 days before one of my cousins weddings :giggle: oops!!

Congrats on the auntie news Tanya, that's lovely. Great that you're so excited about it. Apart from being able to give them back at the end of the day you can also buy them really noisy, pressies to annoy their parents too! Lots of fun to be had!!

Oooh yeah! Noisy presents - didn't think of that one!! My mum has already asked me if she can buy some baby stuff from the catalogue - told her no!!!! Not yet!!!!! lol

Today i've got training this evening and was going to run the 4miles home but I decided before going to bed this morning that i'd get up early and run before training, so thats what I did. V.pleased with it ran 4miles in 44:36 giving me a pace of 11:09p/mile that'd get me my 10k in under 1hr10! :fingerscrossed: only 6/7more running sessions left!!

(will post up my week plan later on, its still in progress!!)

Yeah indeed! And its my littler brothers 18th in January so those 5 occassions are going to take a massive chunk out of the funds - as the 3 weddings, one is in warwick the others in bristol so its travel & hotel stays the lot! I think its inconsiderate of my cousins really to plan them so close, its litterally one every two months, march, may & july

It's not like I go out much anyways I do prefer to have drinks at home than go out every weekend but this whole saving malark is sooooooo boring and its only the second month in! :giggle:

Well done on your run time yesterday. Looks as though you will easiliy beat that target for the 10K. Not long to go now then, bet you can't wait to get it done.
