Headache got worse through the night :( Having to sit at a computer for 5hours really does not help.

Out for lunch this evening with some friends. Think i've made wise choices! I usually opt for sweet potatoe mash but gone for ratatouille today but there is a slight chance I might change my mind ;) lol

My evening was lovely. Laughed so hard my belly hurt. Always have such a lovely time with these guys :D

I did get a free 1/4 of a chicken which looks like the leg. I will take it to work with me, seems a waste otherwise. The website says 217 cals but I doubt I will eat it all as I will only pick off the 'decent' meat and wont touch the skin but still going to count the full 217.

Total cals for today are 1,365

Should have a nice run tomorrow with this fuel in me! ;) lol
 
Todays run was much improved from tuesdays. Only 2 extra stops that totalled about 2mins and one was to tie my lace tighter as my ankle was hurting and thought it was too loose so had no support. It did improve during the run but when I got home I iced my ankle and my knee for 10mins before doing anything else. Think I will do this after every run as I don't want it becoming worse this close to race day. I only have 9 more running sessions before the 10k!! :eek:

Todays run was 4.81 miles, 56mins (3x 18min runs with 2x 1min walks in between) which gave me a pace of 11:38. I need to drop that by 23seconds to get me the 10k in 1:09:59 :fingerscrossed:

Yeah T, my dad should be running it (knees dependent) and so is my littler brother. But we wont run together, they are much faster than me.

Left work last night at 4:30 which was nice, hoped to be well asleep by 7am but come 9am still awake :( I've been having real trouble this week getting to sleep. Its been atleast 8:30/9:00 untill i've managed to doze off and then i'm not sleeping right the way through, waking up countless times etc. I hope next weeks better :fingerscrossed:

Shift tonight :D Still not speaking to Stevie :rolleyes: not too bothered either, it'll be nice to have a weekend on my own. The only thing I have to worry about is whether to open a bottle of wine after my shift this evening to have a glass when crawling into bed?!!!! :hmm:
Although, I don't have the calories spare for it - dammit!!! :( but will this deter me?!!!! :eek: I hope so lol

I always have been the first to cave in the past but this time I know i'm 110% not in the wrong and so i'm not even going to attempt to speak to him. I guess it's easier for me as we don't live together or anything :giggle:
 
See I'm pretty much 99% in the wrong! But you go girl! Are you expecting flowers and the full works?!
 
Awwww sorry you're still not speaking hon ... good for you for standing your ground but it still affects you! Hope you manage to sort it out soon - ooo but hold on ... didn't he comment on your fb status about your shift tonight?? I'm sure he did - maybe he's coming round a bit!

No, don't want the whole works, i'm happy with a simple apology!

Yeah, saw the comment on it Jan then a few hours later I got a text. No apology but asking me since when had I become so stubborn and suggesting a nice evening at the cinema tomorrow. Few replies flinging back and forth and so i'll see him tomorrow at some point. I still want that apology though - he's not getting away with that one!! :giggle:

I've just taken a look back through at the cals I had in the first 10days of counting cals before losing 3.25lbs last week and compared the first 7days to these previous 7 days and theres only 300cals difference in total. I think I am doing ok so i've reasoned with myself that the glass of wine tonight will be ok ;) and i'll still be under 1,400 which was the maximum i'm allowing myself ... even more reason :rolleyes:

Shift was fab as usual, done quite a bit of stuff that I usually wouldnt but its been really good as i've gotten to learn new things :) Got another point signed off too!

Right off to bed, wine in hand :) night x

I have an apology :) all is good - he's offered to take me out for dinner later but not sure if I want to or if I can spare the calories!!! :rolleyes:

Run today was 3.85miles. Went to Burrator with my littler brother. I wanted to run it in 44mins but I ran it in 41:51 - well chuffed! Gives me a pace of 10:52p/mile :D

Lunch has changed a bit as mum is cooking a roast so instead of me cooking my own veg i'll have what shes cooked the only bad thing is she adds salt to it. But I can live with that for one day.

Sunday 16th October

Great time on your run. This next event you're running will be a doddle ;).

Hope you enjoyed the wine - I'm looking forward to mine tomorrow - though I probably won't deserve it after wi :eek: xx
