Ooh I duno Jan!! Still, it's measurement day tomorrow maybe I'll see some results there!

Just munched a pack of hula hoops :doh: still under cals for the day but still wish I could've resisted!!

Having a serious think tonight in work, I'm seriously considering going back to having a set treat day, it might help with the constant cravings I'm having lately just knowing that I can have it once a week. And might also help with keeping my weekends in check as i always fail on weekends! Oh now I'm rambling soz lol
 
Ramble away hon ... it's a thought. We all have to find our own way to manage - and change that way when it no longer does the trick :) xx
 
I just feel totally out if control on weekends! Somethings gotta give :p
 
The way you look at it can deceive your brain too Tanya. Dont look on it as a treat and you wont feel so deprived then if you dont get it.

Life is for living chick, and if you cant let your hair down once a week, then its bound to have an effect. Got to have a little YOU time too.
 
:hmm: but my weekend living head lasts sat, sun & Monday's!!!! Lol

I just need to suck it up and do it. Think I'll have to go back to planning meals on weekends again, sod Stevie if he don't want it tuff! :giggle:
 
I think ur doing great and have found a great balance! U know yourself if ur going a bit too far and think of a way to get it back in control - treat day sounds good idea tho - have u done that before? That's the prob isn't it, we kinda easily get used to frequent'ish wee bit choc or whatever and cravings get stronger etc etc! Especially hard in ur case when ur trying to up cals on run days and it's perfectly acceptable to have treat - but then bodies starts thinking it's normal habit all too quicky ...

Anyway rambling, trust in yourself Tanya - ur in control even if u feel u're not! You prove it again and again so be proud!

I think we have to make regular adjustments to our plans - if for no reason other than stopping our bodies getting into habits! Also remember if we're 'good' all the time, we kinda stagnate weight wise and a slight overeat gives horrific changes on the scales - whereas 80/20 sometimes results in a metabolism boost! Strange but true - da na na ner! (thats meant to be creepy music) Lol

Enjoy your meal out tonight. If you've not seen those girls for 2 years they're in for a shock when they see you aren't they? I wish I could see their faces when you meet. Have a blast!
 
Tanya have a great night with your friends. Help them pick their jaws off the ground when they see you walk in the door!!!
It will also remind you of the great effort you have put in to tackling your weight.

Yes, a couple of the girls havnt seen me in the flesh since ive lost weight but have seen pics from fb.

Measured myself today, last time & todays measurements:
belly 44" ... 43"
waist 36" ... 36"
bust 35.5" ... 36"
thigh 23.5" ... 23.5"
calf 17" ... 17"

So i've lost an inch on the belly and gained 1/2inch on my bust. Still no waist. Still no shape. Still 21lbs to lose before my holiday (15 weeks) Still a 1/2 marathon to train for and get my time to under 2.5hours.

My name for the day is "minnie" as in moaning!

Friday 11th March

*3.5mile run (40:37 493cals burnt)

B- honey nut cereal 199
s.s milk 48

L/D- buffet chinese: 1 lot of special fried rice, sweet & sour pork, honey roast pork, 3 chicken skewers, 5 mini curry samosas, 5mini spring rolls, 3 wontons erm .... some plain chow mein... crispy smoky chicken strips, a bit of chicken curry .... i think thats about it oh and some ice cream and grapes for desert.

*will take some fruit or something to work with me for my lunch break as im on full time hours today.

TOTM? or any other possible cause? is that in a week Tan? gotta be some explanation.......can I ask a question and I don't want to be rude or anything....but have you ever thought that you might have some kind of food intolerance? It's just that you seem to carry ALL your weight in just one place......you've got VERY small hips so you can't be particularly big-boned. The reason I mention this is one of my friends is shaped exactly the same and she's have tests at the moment cos her doctor thought that it was very strange......

In any event, you still look brilliant in your photos:D

My last totm was 3weeks ago. I have no regularity with mine so I never know when i'm due. I didnt have an official WI last week but i did hop on the scales and it certainly was nowhere near a 4.25lb gain. I think, it was just 1lb maybe not even that.

The only thing ive done real different this week is potatoe.

I just don't care right now. Seems like a complete waste of my time worrying about it constantly. I'm just so fed up with it, my life revolves around watching what I eat its so frustrating.

Again, just call me minnie!! ;)

Remember just how well you have done, the effort you are putting into running and your achievement of getting into the police force.

Had such a lovely evening. Havnt laughed so much in ages. Haha so if you've read foo's diary you'll know I've been measuring my waist & classing it as my hips :giggle: just changed it. Next measurement day I will include a hip measurement!!
