Shares are a dirty word this side of the Irish sea!! Too many people have been burnt by the fall in bank shares!!! Due to the property bubble collapse.
 
Yup, end of 2012 we arent able to cash them in. Although they might go up by that time we've been told not to expect it. x
 
Oh I'm battling with myself tonight over a bag of yummy scrummy delicious mini cookies :doh: :sigh: I want them but know I shouldn't!!

Edit: I caved. Had 1/2 the pack 98cals so ending the day on 1,254

Isn't it horrible when we get something into our heads, and no amount of rational thoughts can make that craving go away!

Well done on just having half the packet though - good on ya!
 
Well done on your food hun- looked great. I don't get the whole shares thing even. You just reminded me that I have got some with the company I used to work for- better sort that out! Maybe we should get Sandra to give us some lesson! I watched limitless last night and he made millions! Can't be that hard can it?!!!
 
Not hard, just risky! Never invest more than you can afford to lose.....or just keep doing the Lottery!
 
Oh to top that off we found out last night that people who have left the company within the last 6weeks have been paid their shares!!! The poo is going to hit the fan over this!! :hitthefan:

Am off to the running club today!! I'm so nervous! What if I can't keep up with them? What if I look like a complete idiot cuz I can't run hills?! It says online they run 3-5miles which is ideal as i've scheduled in a 5miler for today and a 3miler for tomorrow so whatever we do tonight i'll make up the difference tomorrow so I get to 17/18miles this week.

Good luck with the running club tonight ... Really hope u enjoy it and hopefully find both some running buddy's and folks that cud help advise u with the food stuff too cc
 
You'll be fine and if you can't keep up yet you soon will! I'm convinced that running with other people will increase your speed no end........honest!
 
Fear not! Basically there are 2 running groups going from sainsburys on a thursday, one a slower one a faster. The slower today was doing between 3&4 miles and the faster 4&5. I opted for the slower group as i've never run with a group before and all throughout I was the front runner, did far too many loop backs, got myself to the front again for a bit then had to loop back and felt really like I was being a bit too showy offy. The ladies were lovely though. One of them even said to me at the end you found that too easy didnt you, i replied yeah im guna give the faster group a go next time. She then said i think you have found your fortay (sp?) in running :giggle:

The group i was in today did 3.7miles in 55minutes. I must have done atleast 4miles with my loop backs. I feel like it was a bit of a waste to be honest. But atleast it got some mileage in my legs and got me running a couple of hills.

(i dont want this to sound big headed, im sure you ladies on here know im not meaning to sound that way :giggle:)

Oh, i have totalled up the cals on mfp but im not going to pay that much attention to them today.
 
Go Tanya!! Leader of the pack and all that! That's fantastic. It made me laugh reading they were too slow for my liking. I'm just imagining you saying that when you first started LT, never!! Keep up the good work and good luck with the faster group, sounds as though that will suit you much better.
 
The faster group are "fast!!!!!" is what one lady said so I might struggle with it but i'll see how next week goes!

Not weighing for 2weeks now as next friday i'll have very little sleep and i think that affects the scales. But the following friday it'll be a weigh in and measurements. I want atleast 2-3lbs off by next friday, if I don't I think I might go mad :mad: I only have 13weeks untill my first holiday and have to get rid of 18lbs!!! :sigh:

Edit: brilliant run today. I hit the 2mile mark in 21:50 just short of 11mins a mile!! :eek: Couldnt keep that pace up though but I still cracked 4miles today in under 11:30 a mile :D :D

Wow look at you go girl - they were too slow for you, what an achievement Tanya, you are and have done fantastic at this running malarky.

Give the fast group a go next week and I am sure you will surprise yourself.

Sorry about the small gain, but it could just be with all the exercise and some water retention. Will be interesting to see how the measurements show next week.
 
Am not surprised considering I had a 3.75lb loss last week. I just dont think my body knows how to take it all right now. My running days calories, especially tuesdays are always so low that might be a problem but who knows.

:eek: Just scoffed 2x 2finger kit kats!!!!!!! PIG! I will skip the melon tonight now and i'll take that to work with me tomorrow evening.

Well done on your run hun. Fab time! Stop being so hard on yourself about the kitkats! It is not like you had 6! Is there anyone at the running club you can talk to about food?

Good luck with the fast running group Tanya. I bet that will suit you better and also bring on your running times (what you want). Shame about the gain, but could it be you're building more muscle at the moment?
 
I was more annoyed at the fact I can't seem to break the weigh in day habit of having a little something 'naughty' not the fact i ate 2 kit kats and some squares as i was still under cals for the day :sigh: maybe one day i wont feel the need to scoff!! :giggle:

Bev, could very well be but i know muscle doesnt weigh more etc. I expected a loss this week cuz my body is looking a bit better especially side on in the mirror. My curves are looking more defined too! :D

Today!!! Well, decided on getting up and going for lunch, well my breakfast with my friend then i've a shift this evening so busy bee and popped into the co-op and what was reduced- whoopies! 85p for 4 so had to buy them and try one. Theyre ok, but would have prefered a chocolate bar for the same/less calories!!
