How did your shift go last night hun?x
 
Last night was busier - as expected. Again, I loved my shift, very eventful :D

Woke up today and my shoulders are in agony :( and im soooo tired as I had 5hours sleep so I could go to sleep early tonight for my run tomorrow morning.

Monday 25th April

B- 2slices wm granary toast, 2 poached eggs hp sauce.

*bag of dairy milk buttons that came with my egg

L- 2 burgers, 1 hot dog (they were only tiny ones - like value size burgers & sausages) & 1 sausage on its own. plenty of salad (lettuce, cucumber, tomatoe, onion, peppers) erm, red sauce, chilli mayo, doritos hmmm think that was it.

*4pints of cider. 1 33ml bottle of corona

Sounds like u had a great weekend, tho definitely not what you'd call a restful holiday! Lol

Hope BBQ was good and good luck with your run 2moro! Hopefully your doubting demons will be well and truly vanquished by lunchtime 2moro x

Edited as above. Didn't quite stick to plan - ended up popping to the shop to get two more bottles of bulmers. The rest of them were on shots (jagerbombs) and i resisted - not that i like them anyways! and i came home at 9 and left them all there as i'm so commited to doing this run tomorrow. So, off for an early night and I will catch up on threads tomorrow :) xxx

Rubbish sleep - Stevie came home drunk, rang me to let him in as he didnt have his key and then got into bed, conked out on his back snoring his head off :rolleyes: I was awake for just over an hour in the middle of the night finally got back to sleep around 3 when I took the quilt out of the cover - just toooo hot!!!

Checked the temp here this morning looks ok. Think I might take 2 bottles of water running with me though. Don't want to be caught short again.

Back to work tonight too :( So will be having a nap later - looking forward to that! lol

Tuesday 26th April

B- porridge, s.s milk, spoon sugar

L-tuna &cheese toastie (2slices wm granary bread, 1/2 tin tuna, elf Mayo, 20g grated cheddar) wotsits.

D- peppered beef grill steak, lettuce, cucumber, fried chips.

meringue & muller light

*banana after run
*energy gels
*apple for work

Sorry to hear about Stevie's drunkeness again! Hubby was away last night and got the bed to myself- bliss!
 
Girls, i'm soooooooooooo HAPPY!!!!
Finally broke that dreaded 10mile barrier!

I ran 10.73 miles in 2:04:33 and burnt 1450cals (few walking stops to take gels, answer a phonecall and get up the hills). I cannot believe I ran that in that time. Thats a mile pace time of 11:36m p/mile.

I took 2 bottles of water with me. Took an energy gel 20mins before setting off. Another after 40mins of running and another after 1:20hr of running.

Defo a huge improvement taking them & water instead of sports drinks.

Most importantly, I set of feeling good and told myself "I can do this. Don't focus on time. Just run and enjoy it" and today I did just that - I enjoyed it!!! Even though I didn't quite hit the 11mile mark as I wanted to do a different route I feel fab that I did 10.73miles :D :D :D :D

Fabulous job on the run Tanya. It's a great achievement for you. Time is fab despite you having a broken sleep. Good on ya!!
