10st10lbs' Diary - been away for far too long!

I normally have a baked potatoe with Baked Beans from the Trafford Centre or Lowry Outlet from the Spuds place and that way I can choose something healthy, while my friends can have anything else.

Thanks hun, makes so much sense! Jacket potatoes slipped my mind entirely :) They ended up cancelling on me anyway so off I went for fruit... xxx
 
Tuesday 14/09 - Green

Breakfast
- Water
- Fry(light) up - egg, mushrooms, onions, baked beans in tomato sauce

Had a long walk around town, no idea of distance but I'd guess about 3km? Walked up and down and in and out of here and there, was nice having some time to myself.

Snack
- Melon and grapes

Lunch
- Tagliatelle with 35g chicken (1/2 HExB1), green beans, baked beans in tomato sauce and 21g RF cheese (1/2 HExA1)
- Banana
- Coffee with 50ml skimmed milk (1/7 HExA2)
- Kellogg's Fibre Plus bar (HExB2)
- 1 Mikado (0.5 syn)

Dinner
- Lentil soup (1 syn) with 10g croutons (1 syn)
- Cucumber, lettuce, carrot and green bean salad
- 1 Morning Coffee (1 syn)
- Chocolate and apricot brownie (1.5 syns)

Snack
- Tea with 50ml skimmed milk (1/7 HExA2)
- 250ml skimmed milk (5/7 HExA2)
- CocoPops bar (4 syns)

Total syns: 0.5 + 1 + 1 + 1 + 1.5 + 4 = 9 syns

No abs workout done, as predicted, but jumped in the shower this morning and while the water was cold, I did lots of stand up tilt-tuck-tighten crunches which are the basis of the DVD workout, so got a few minutes in there... And ttt-ing right now aswell, much harder sitting down! Starting to burn, letting go... ahhhhh! Was doing it while waxing my legs aswell, lol, only got half of one done during EastEnders though! I'm thinking the other half during Neighbours tomorrow, then get started on my left leg during some other programme... And if worst comes to worst, the final half of my left leg during Thursday's EastEnders - determined to be hair-free by Friday! Although I can NEVER be bothered doing my arms! :eek:

A few repeats of ttt whenever I'm sitting down should have the same effect, ya? xxx

Wednesday 15/09 - Green

Breakfast
- Water
- Hashbrown made from grated potato, onion and egg, with salt, basil, paprika and 21g RF cheese (1/2 HExA2)
- Baked beans in tomato sauce
- EL mayo (0.5 syn)
- Activia FF peach yoghurt

Snack
- 1 Mikado (0.5 syn)

That was my treat for effectively waxing the bottom half of my left leg during My Wife And Kids! Got excited during Neighbours and got started on the top of my right leg, not so sure if I can handle the pain right now but will give it another go... See how much I can get done before the end of the day and then call the salon first thing in the morning to help me do the rest :eek:

Lunch
- 1/2 sachet Ainsley Harriot's World Kitchen Mexican Style rice with green and red peppers, baked beans in tomato sauce, and 7g Total yoghurt (0.5 syn) <- this was absolutely lovely and I regretted eating half the sachet earlier on in the week!

Snack
- Diet Coke

Dinner
- Cauliflower and 70g chicken (HExB1) in onion and tomato sauce (2 syns) with a dash of lemon juice and chapatti (3 syns)
- Cucumber, lettuce, carrot, sweetcorn and boiled egg salad
- Water
- Tea with 50ml skimmed milk (1/7 HExA2)

Snack
- Kellogg's Fibre Plus Bar (HExB2)
- 300ml skimmed milk (6/7 HExA2)
- Melon and grapes

Total syns: 0.5 + 0.5 + 0.5 + 2 + 3 = 6.5 syns

I think dinner was a bit heavy but hoping to get it all out of my system before WI, I think my bowels are finally back to normal, thank God! Fingers crossed I haven't just cursed it all again, I can't have another week of no number twos!

Really really really want to have a nice loss this week... I have (in my honest opinion) had a really sensible 5 days since Eid and deserve (in my honest opinion again!) a bigger loss than 0.5lbs! However, I will not knock it if that is all I get, as every little helps :)

Hey Hannah :) Just peel and grate some potato, squeeze as much water out as possible, grate some onion into it too, and then add a beaten egg (I only added half of it one day as otherwise it got too gooey and wouldn't stay in shape), which will help it all to gel together. I'm not sure if you should add milk or not, but I don't and it turns out OK :) Put in a bit of salt and pepper if you want, definitely the salt though as otherwise it's a bit boring... then plop it all in a Frylighted non-stick pan on medium-ish heat! Medium-low is better... makes it hot all the way through! Cover it with a lid and leave for about two minutes, before flipping it over for another minute or so, then press down on it every thirty seconds with a spatula, keeping it covered in between presses so all the potato cooks. You'll be able to tell when it's all done, doesn't take any longer than 7-8 mins :)

- Pasta with chicken stirred into homemade tomato sauce (tinned tomatoes, onion, salt, paprika, stock cube, Total yoghurt) (2 syns) topped with 30g RF cheese (4 syns)

- Robinson's NAS orange & pineapple squash

Snack
- Coffee with 5g Cadbury's Highlights (1 syn) and 50ml skimmed milk (1/7 HExA)

Dinner
- 60g Aldi Northern Catch breaded haddock (2 syns)
- Baked beans in tomato sauce
- Cucumber, lettuce, and homemade potato salad (1.5 syns)

Snack
- Alpen Light bar (1/2 HExB)
- Coffee with 50ml skimmed milk (1/7 HExA)
- Penguin (5.5 syns)

Have found today really really difficult, have been opening the fridge every ten minutes or so wanting to eat everything in sight while my brain is shouting 'SU-PER-FREE! SU-PER-FREE! SU-PER-FREE!'. I know breakfast and lunch superfree was practically non-existant, had to make it up during dinner. I will really try tomorrow, I want to give Extra Easy a proper go all week as maybe Green just isn't for me, well atleast not for the whole week.

And then it all went horrible :( (and kind of funny after the banana)

Got out of bed to raid the fridge, it was quite funny as I had a bit of the mince, then two spoons of salad, forcing myself to get 2/3 superfree in, just because it was a midnight binge. After about three minutes, I was either full, or just couldn't work out if I had actually been hungry in the first place. It was probably the silliest and most pointless binge ever, but atleast I didn't take any food back up to bed with me, HUGE ACHIEVEMENT!

Total syns: 2 + 0.5 + 1 + 1 + 0.5 + 3 + 3 + 5 + 2.5 + 0.5 + 0.5 = 19.5 syns

Took my measurements again a few days ago, keep forgetting to post. Nice drop in the thighs - my size 10 trousers are finally loose around my trunks! So updated numbers:

Halfway measurements as at 12/08/2010:

Current measurements as at 17/08/2010:
9st3.5lbs
Bust - 33"
Under bust/Waist - 28"

Total inch loss to date = 17.5"!

Oh and if I have an off plan night tomorrow (there will be pizza, chana chaat (which is v low syn the way my aunty makes it) and maybe pakore?) do you reckon I should count it (it being the pizza with the cheese and the meat and the oil and the mmmmm... :eek:) into my syns allowance or just let it go? I think even if I don't count it, I'll feel guilty enough to want to reduce my syns for the rest of the week... :( xxx

Thank you! You guys have to keep me motivated like this - last night at 3.30am I was all about ready to give up. I woke up at 3ish with a really bad pain in my left side and felt like saying 'F(_)CK THE WORLD!', even came on here on my mobile wanting to post that I just didn't care anymore and byebye SW, byebye MM, but I didn't and I really didn't know why I didn't until reading through the first few pages of my diary again, until looking back at my starting measurements and then especially when I was able to get into my trousers this morning without sucking in my stomach and then sit down cross-legged without being afraid of the seams splitting... :rolleyes: too deep for a Friday night, this.

Whats the secret to getting it off thighs? Mine are getting there very slowly lol. Last place off no doubt lol

Hehe, it's definitely been the last place for the inches to start falling off for me aswell! I don't really do any exercise apart from walk as much as is absolutely possible :) so I think perseverance has led to it for me. I don't think I'll lose very much more off there, apparently I have inherited chunky legs off my dad :( x
