10st10lbs' Diary - been away for far too long!

Good luck Ali:) You deserve it with your determination! SE sounds really hard to do to me. Also, hope you can find a better class for you as that really does make a difference.

You will be good today, tomorrow and Thursday for that Shiny sticker!!! You know you can do it, so just plan in advance for those dinners.
PS- come to my group :)

I hope I will be good! I am really counting on anyone who reads my diary to help me this week - you guys are wonderful at being so motivational and I love it!

Haha, I really should! It'd be much better than mine... I probably will have to as it looks like my Thursday mornings are gone :( I will refer back to that PM from ages ago to find out when your group is and see if I can make it :) xxx

Thank you! I need all the luck I can get!

SE does sound difficult - it was explained wrongly to me and so to be thinking you're doing something right but then finding out you've wasted a much-needed day on the wrong plan...! Not happy, as you know, lol. I just realised, I can count that day as EE, but add 6 extra syns for the HExB2... I guess that makes me feel a little better :)

Fingers crossed I can find a better class too, I think I really need it... I have made a really good friend at the group I'm in now and would feel bad leaving her on her own as we both feel the same way about the other members...! But I may just have to do what's best for me and keep in contact with her some other way :) Now to find a class with a time I can get there! xxx

How's today going?

Quite well so far! LOTS of walking done, giving my legs a rest for a couple of hours now, then another 40 min jog before bed :)

My earphones broke this morning :( So was going to walk around town and find a decent cheap-ish pair, even though I have a spare pair at home. Talked myself out of it, and it was nice to have a walk with a fresh brain! Visited Tesco to pick up a small wholemeal loaf, and that is the sole item that I came out with :D Spent a bit of time pondering over the reduced price salad before seeing CHEESE in the title, then a bit of time trying to find some Quorn (you'd think Tesco Express would stock it!) and then a bit more time searching for Mikado, just incase I needed a treat... Oh and then a bit more time eyeing up the Ryvita, wondering about the syns... DOH, I had my SW book in my bag aswell, I should have just checked! Then walked past the cheeses to get to the self-checkout, so had a quick look for some Primula but nope, nothing! While I was there, had a quick peek for some VLF yoghurt, they didn't have any! Just LF, which really isn't good enough! So yeah, mucho exercising of self-control, go me! Might have a slice of toast as a snack, as I was told snacks on SE are allowed to be superfree, healthy extras, or syns, otherwise must be synned...!

Well done :D boo for crappy shops!

Boo indeed! However, I know if I had gone to Asda that was also on my route home, I would have ended up spending lots, which I can't afford to do right now, on things I didn't even want.

Just caught a really good film on ITV2 so switched over to +1 to watch it, Scarlett Johansson is pukka! As is Ewan McGregor, lol, and they kept me well entertained during a 40 min jog - absolutely knackered now so come up to bed to sleepily watch the rest, wonder if I'll drift off before it finishes...

Thank you to everyone who has commented today and given me the drive and motivation I needed :) As I have covered 21km today, and I know that is just over 13 miles, I can work out based on the fact that I burn 120 calories per mile, that I have burnt atLEAST 1560 calories today! And based on the fact that 20 calories = 1 syn, I'm looking at a lovely 78 syns burnt :D Too tired right now to work out what I burnt yesterday, but I did 11161m on the Wii so that's atleast another 35 syns?

It's looking goooooddd!! Thank you all, I absolutely love you to pieces for being the best motivational class ever!!! :D xxx

78 syns can go a long way ;) well done!!

1 more day to go until WI :) Keep it up and you're doing great on that body magic!!! My WII is just sitting there as a decoration piece at the moment. Maybe when my little one starts full time next week I'll get on and do something. Do you just do the jogging?
Good luck today!

:D! Was hoping to repeat yesterday's performance today but I am 110% shattered, think I'll just stick to the 40 min jog tonight :) xxx

Your doing great, keep it up :D

:) Thanks hun, not long to go now...! xxx

One more day to sort myself out! I really hope SE and extra exercise has made a difference - after 21km yesterday I snoozed my alarm for 2 hours today and am already trying to work out which route I would have to walk the least on, the 192 from Stockport Rd or the 50 from about 50m away! 192 would take me right outside my building, even though I'd have to walk to the stop first which involves me going up a hill :( but if I got the 50, I'd have to either get off at Spring Gardens and walk on the cobbles down Market St while avoiding people handing out flyers and trying to ambush me for donations, or walk down Whitworth St, where I almost always very nearly get run down! :sigh: New route needed!

Ours is also a decoration piece for most of the year! Yeah I only jog because you can do it with the channel changed over, so it's easier to get through the minutes as you can't see them on the screen... I like doing it at night when everyone else has gone to bed and I've found a nice film or something to keep me occupied :)

Morning Hunni

You are doing well this week - just goes to show that you can do it when you put your mind to it... and well done on the lack of pointless shopping... you don't need anything extra and like you said, you can't afford it at the moment either

Have another great day today - can't wait for WI - everything crossed for you mate

T
xx

Hiya :) Putting my mind to it has really really really helped, just very tired today from all the body magic yesterday... Walked 2.5km and absolutely knackered all over again, I could do with a full body massage!

I can't wait for WI either - really hope my bowels stay sorted out until tomorrow morning(!) and also that I'm not bloated from these tablets I'm taking to delay my period... Crossing everything possible - fingers, toes, even eyes!

xxx

fingers crossed for tomorrow :)

Walked 1km.

Gained 0.5lb.

Walked 1km.

Thursday 23/09 - Don't know...

Came home for breakfast after WI as I felt horrible, banana just wasn't cutting it.

Breakfast
- Banana
- 2 slices of wholemeal toast (HExB) with 21g RF cheese (1/2 HExA) and frylighted egg
- EL mayo (0.5 syn) and tomato ketchup (1 syn)

Walked 1km.

Walked into H&M, picked up a gorgeous plain black maxi in size 6 and size 8, two lovely pairs of jeans in size 28 and 29, a khaki green lace dress in 8 and an amazing black racer strap zip up bodycon dress in size 10... Straight into the dressing room, tried them all on and had a really good long think, appreciated each item one by one... Only tried the maxi on in size 8 but it was beautiful, very reasonable price too... Everything looked in proportion, I looked and felt taller and a million dollars. Both pairs of jeans fit, the 29 was definitely more comfortable but the 28 was OK too. The green lace dress, it was so lovely, wide neck, short sleeves, perfect length, perfect fit. And the bodycon dress - wow oh wow oh wow! It was a squeeze but it was beautiful, I could see a shape and I liked it! Came out feeling very positive :) Went to the toilets, came out and felt like putting some make up on, full self-appreciation happening...

Snack
- Strawberry & Cream Sula (0.5 syn)

Got a phone call from my best friend about a minute after I left the toilets, she said she was at Nando's with a few friends and if I wasn't doing anything, to come along, so I went and I'm not one bit sad that I did :)

Also nipped back into H&M again to get something for my niece - didn't know what to get but I knew I wanted to get her something because I love her millions so I came out with two little black flower clips with silver sewn on sequins and a matching headband... I wanted to keep one for myself!

Lunch
- Nando's Chicken Breast Fillet Pitta with salad and mayo, garlic bread as side
- Diet Coke
- Black coffee with 1 tsp sugar (1 syn)

No idea how many syns lunch was, but was VERY close to having a Choc-A-Lot cake for dessert as one of my friends stayed back to have dessert, but then we got talking about Slimming World (haven't seen her since... OK, the last time I remember seeing her was Feb, but it can't have been that long!) and she said I looked like I'd lost loads of weight! :D So we both ended up saying no to dessert and even though I felt myself trying to push her to have something, I was glad when she said no! Ordered our teas and coffees and I was a bit sad there wasn't any sweetener :( so went for the brown sugar instead. Then I walked home! 4km :) I was racing this BMW (rush hour...) and ALMOST beat it, it got ahead of me about 500m from my house as it slipped into the bus lane - I'm sure he knew what I was up to and didn't want a little girl beating his beastly car!

Happy that I walked it at a fast pace, sure I have burnt atleast half of my lunch off :) Don't know if I'll be doing my 40 mins tonight though... Ramble over! I promise xxx

Dinner
- Mini cheese and onion rolls, grilled chips, chicken donner, lamb donner, and a little bit of lamb curry with EL ketchup and mayo

On track 100% from now.

Think all that body magic had something to do with that little gain. Don't go by what the scales say, but measure yourself again after a few weeks and I'm sure you're bound to see a difference. Stay determined :)

Maybe, I dunnoooo... Felt quite dejected and left before Image Therapy, didn't even stop to say hi to anyone. Was going to ask C if she could access my losses from the beginning for me but I just didn't want to stay. Trudged home, had brekkie, a nice long chat with my cousin, some changing-room-retail-therapy (see above!) and then felt miles better :)

I will be hoping so much next week that I get a loss - last time I did this much body magic I lost 2.5lbs... maybe I was too presumptuous in thinking that the same would happen :( but the deflation after seeing the scales go up half a pound... :sigh:...

Thank you hun, I will stay determined :) xxx

I bet it shows next week x

Won't start crossing my fingers just yet... maybe I need to have a period and then I'll be sorted... Anyone reckon that's why I'm not losing very much? x
