20 somethings

Sammy, I'm delighted that you liked my scarf so much that you did the same to yours xx

Fran, I only had fruit and yogurt because I had a bigger breakfast than usual.. I usually have the fruit and yogurt, or fruit and hi-fi bar for breakfast. Plus I was up later than usual, had breakfast at half eleven, lunch at three, and dinner at half six lol Which is why I'm feeling a bit peckish now!
I know what you mean about getting disheartened. I'm feeling that way too. Sometimes wonder why I bother, but I know that even if I'm not losing at the moment, I'm not gaining either! (much...half a pound is nothing!)
It will all pay off eventually for us all xx

Hi ladies,
Hope everyone's Monday is going well. I'm only working Tuesday of this week woop :D

Quick question to pick your brains, I haven't had rice or pasta in weeks, I don't know the last time for definite as the idea of reading back through my food diary is a tad tedious (I will have a look at some point today). I'd say a fortnight at least. The thing is, due to my hi fi bar obsession I've made today a green day so was considering making philadelphia pasta tonight but I'm genuinely terrified that because I haven't had pasta in ages that it will bloat me/make me gain.

I know that it's daft and if I keep going like that I'll end up cutting out every damn food group but has anyone else had this? Cut out carbs like rice and pasta and then went back to them? Opinions? Experiences?

Edit: Last time I had pasta was the 12th Sept.

That's true... I know if i wasn't doing sw I would still be piling on weight.

Still sticking to it 100%.

B: fruit and yogurt.

L: 2 ww sausages (1 syn), 1tsp brown sauce (0.5 syn) sw chips and baked beans, had an Apple and some grapes just before too.

D: will be stew, and I will syn a slice of white bread (it has to be white bread dipped in stew) which'll be 4.5 syns I think, I will double check.

how is everyone else's day going?

Rice generally is fine. Some people get bloating with pasta & bread and blame gluten, you only need to be weary if you have ibs or have a tested, confirmed intolerance. My best advice is suck it and see. A lot of bloating is down to fruit, beans and pulses and veg like broccoli & cabbage. I had the same problem of accidentally cutting out bread and I had a lot of it one week and felt so bloated, but now I can have it fine again. Sorry not overly helpful

Hey girls. Feeling very blah today. Scales still not moving at all. Feeling like I'm going to STS tomorrow at WI. Feel like I'm working my azz off for nothing.
I had another Green day today.

Breakfast -- omellette with cheese (hea) and banana for breakfast

Lunch -- Fruit and cuppa (hea)

Dinner -- chunky SW chips with oxo and herbs sprinkled on, with two LM rosemary and red onion sausages, with peas and carrots.

On the plus side, I do still have all my syns and two B choices lol. So I'm planning on toast with flora light (4 syns) and two hi-fi light bars later. Might even splash out and have all my syns tonight, using the remaining 11 syns for a picnic bar...hmmm might cheer me up a bit.

Still need to "go". Laxative didn't do me any good at all... wondering where all the food is going...do I have hollow legs?

Omg was it duloclax you took? You must have bowels of steel if that didn't get you moving lol! Chin up, you may be surprised at weigh in :) Your tea sounds amazing <3

Green days are just so good with the HE's....though they make me feel that I can have about a million hi fi bars haha! Only 3 left though...they're nearly all gone, YAY!

I go hifi mad on green days too, so i have to be extra good to not have 4 rocky roads! I think it is wise not to test your digestive system when you have work the next day. Maybe try tomorrow.

Mandy, try swapping bananas for oranges and a few egg free days, that might work. And lentil soup... It cleared me through. Remember the advice you just gave me? I Think it applies to you too. :) also YUM picnic bars! Still on a no chocolate week.... It isn't too bad actually.

I was so good, I had HALF a slice of white bread with my stew (yet more lentils, lol) it was 2.5 syns for the bread. So I have 6 syns left, my a and b choices too! I only go up to 10 a day when doing 100%

We now own 20 quails (the owner went to uni yesterday) and they are so cute and really stupid. We got 14 eggs this morning. :) I'm working on getting them used to being handled too. One was pretty keen after a few goes

At this stage I'm wondering if I'm actually sleep-pooing haha. Cos if I'm going, I don't remember!
I might leave off the hi-fi bars next week, go back to having toast for breakfast every day, a SW fry-up for lunch and a proper dinner in the evenings. I did that for months at the start and the weight fell off.

Fran, I had to think about that advice that was haha but you're right. I had two bananas all week, so it's definitely not them, but I suppose I am having a lot of eggs.

I've never really been a big eater. I've just always eaten the wrong things lol. I actually increased what I ate last week, by having an apple before every meal, regardless of whether or not I had my 1/3 superfree...and I gained lol

Oh no! Whenever I am good it doesn't show on the scales. I had a look this evening and it is 2.5lbs lighter than last weeks weigh in, but I weigh in on mornings so who knows. Last week I thought i had done well and I had sts. Red days are quite good for weight loss maybe do a couple of red days before weigh in next week?

Left over stew for lunch tomorrow and cottage pie for tea. I love autumn meals.... Just wondering about breakfast... Smoked salmon and scrambled egg maybe? On wm toast.

3lbs off!!) brings me to 2 stone 5lbs lost in 14 weeks on SW and 3 stone 12lbs lost since I had Jack! So pleased! :) xx

Thanks hunny! 1 stone 10 lbs to go to my initial target of 11 stone 7lbs but then going to drop target to 10 stone 7lbs which will bring me comfortably into my healthy BMI range :) so only 2 stone 10lbs in total left to lose! :) xx

So exciting. My first interim Target is 4st1lb, second Target is 7st5lbs and then a couple of stone after that will be Target so other people's are so much closer, it is exciting.

It is hunny and you're doing so well! You'll get there in no time! :) xx

That's so great! Is doing a hot water bottle cover hard? my friend sent me a hat pattern that i'd like to try for jack, it's a cute little monkey head with ears lol but i think i need more experience first xx

God that sounds cute. No, it isn't hard. It has an intricate pattern though so constantly changing between knit and purl. My son will not wear a hat, drives me mad. I have a christmas pudding hat pattern, so cute, but it'd have been pointless making it. He has lots of jumpers though... I might have to knit a Christmas one if I find a nice pattern. You are going to become an addict. Haha.
