Nearly forgot about swimming this afternoon but got there okay just a bit late.
Had a lovely swim and a real good laugh with some of the women there.
Back pain really bad by the time I got home so resorted to a ready meal which is horrendously high in cals and carbs. Think I have it under control as long as I don't get stricken with the heebeejeebies!! :D


Breakfast - Bacon 60g + Eggs poached 2 (very late)
Snack - Digestive Biscuits 2
Evening - Spaghetti Bolognese
Extra - Milk 200ml

Cals 1265 Carbs 78 Fat 63 Protein 74 Sugars 18 Fibre 7

Well done for the swim Emm, just hope it's not making your pain worse. At least the women ate great laugh!! I'm going to dip my toes in later.

Such a lovely sunny day again.. just makes me feel better to see the sun streaming into my room when I wake up. Also found that my weight has gone down another pound... Yay!!
Sold another item on Ebay .. each time it has me thinking..what is there that they might complain about..seeing as I am always such a negative type of person.. :hmm:

The item was a little camera and am wondering whether they are likely to expect it to have a sim card in it but as I only asked for a very minimal sum surely they wouldn't..would they?! :D

So off to post office and then on to Tesco as I had bought a non stick pan in July which has now started to lose the non stick coating. Thankfully I still had the receipt so no problem getting my money back.
Then into city and managed to get a very close parking bay just near the theatre as I went in and booked to see A Christmas Carol by a ballet company in October.

Diet gone really well again..

Breakfast - Bacon 62g + Eggs scrambled 2
Lunch - Nil..(breakfast was really late)
Snack - Digestive Biscuits 2
Evening - Lamb loin chop 154g + R.Beans 75g + Carrot 65g + Gravy
Supper - L.C.Cheese 1 + Finn Crisp 2

Felt a bit off this morning. Dentist for check up in afternoon ..always seems really peculiar that he goes round my mouth tapping my teeth about ten times before announcing the result!? Anyway.. all okay for the next six months.

Could hardly keep my eyes open when I got back and felt so groggy so I went to bed and slept really well for a couple of hours.

Not a good day nutritionally but otherwise okay.

Breakfast - Bacon 67g + Eggs scrambled 2
Lunch - NIL
Snack - Digestive Biscuits 2
Evening -Cheese 37g + Bread 1 slice
Supper - *Peaches in juice 100g + Crème Fraiche 60ml*(not had)
Extra - Milk 200ml

Not a very good night but rather oddly I have felt really quite good today especially as it has been another warm sunny one.

Very pleased that window cleaner came as I was beginning to wonder whether to try and get someone else. He used to call at least every 6-8 weeks but since he hurt his back it's been about twice a year! Living upstairs it's not as if I can just do them myself from time to time.

Had my massage this afternoon plus the ear candling or Hopei as it's called...so now I'm really feeling full of the joys of spring (so to speak!)

Bought a manicure set from a charity shop awhile back because it was a dryer..then realised that there were a set if "drill" bits and sanders of various kinds attached in the lid so set to and filed as much of the gel I had put on last time and was delighted to find that I was able to get enough off so I could cut my nails shorter and then smooth them off nicely afterwards. After applying some more varnish... not usually any good at doing a manicure but after watching a You-Tube demo am very pleased with the final result.

Breakfast - Oats 35g + Honey 1 Tablspn
Lunch - NIL
Snack - Bread 1 slice + Butter + Cheese 27g
Evening - Lamb loin chop 100g + Veg mix frozen 150g + Mash 20g + Gravy
Supper - Brazil Nuts 40g
Extra - Milk 200ml

Cals 1151 Carbs 79 Fat 57 Protein 67 Sugars 35 Fibre 13

I agree.. makes me feel just a wee bit younger..(ahem!).. wouldn't say I'm that good Bubbly...Emms Gems does have a nice ring to it tho'!?! .. :giggle:

I have this "routine" of putting my bacon for breakfast in the oven to bake in the morning as I then don't have to stand and watch it...however..that's the downfall as I then come on here and 9 times out 10 proceed to forget! So back to find rather crispy bacon.. put s/pan on hob to do scrambled eggs and whilst they get started get my scales out to weigh said crispy bacon only to find the batteries are low so find other scales and in the meantime eggs have developed into a somewhat peculiar type of omelette substance which means that both are so dry that I could only eat half!... Yummy brek..I don't think!!

Another bad night with my painful shoulder.. but I got up quite early and enjoyed the C&W music on the radio.
Had a really busy day except I don't feel I've accomplished much. Spent most of the time researching various things. Thought I would go without the Co-Codamol 'cos I'm so fed up with the side effects but by 5pm decided I just had to take one.. :sigh: ... just have to keep hoping things won't get any worse.

Allowed for some fruit and custard made with soya milk for supper but whether I get round to making it is another story...(as expected..substituted)

Breakfast - Bacon 50g + Eggs scrambled 2 (only ate about 3/4 of what I cooked as it was rather over done!)
Lunch - NIL
Snack - Brazil Nuts 40g
Evening - Ham 75g + Salad + Carrot 62g + S.Cream 22g
Supper - Damsons stewed 100g + Crème Fraiche 60ml
Extra - Milk 200ml
