2015 and It's Now or Never!

....

Oh god I totally get you with the age and weight loss thing I have been telling myself that for the last five years, and it's probably helped me put on three stone :D, I am 43! But like you I have decided not to listen to that voice anymore!!! As we can still be fit and fabulous over 40! :D

Although health, and well being, mentally as well as physically is just as important isn't it, so I know I must be careful with that and not be miserable because of diets, is that an oxymoron !?! :D:eek::D

You're a mere babe Igg..43 is nothing..I'm almost twice your age...you should be able to get that weight off in no time at all.. go to it!!

Cover your ears Emm! X...............

Ears well and truly covered Bubbly!

Re: Plodding on!!

Thank you Emmaline, I will keep trying :D
Good luck too, your food today sounds yummy. X

It must be catching as I've gained too.

We must deffo not listen to the demons telling us we're too old to loose weight.
They lie!

Just a laugh!

A pheasant says to a bull, "I would love to get on top of that tree, but I haven't the energy."

"Well," says the bull, "why don't you eat some of my dung ? It's packed with nutrients."

So the pheasant eats some dung and finds that it gives him enough energy to get to the first branch.
The next day, he eats some more and gets to the next branch. This cycle continues for a week. Finally, the pheasant is at the top of the tree, where he is spotted by the farmer, who shoots him with a shotgun.

Moral of the Story : bullsh*t might take you to the top, but it won't keep you there.

:D

Re: Plodding on!!

Haha, true that! :D

Yayyyyy to the scales being nice and going back down.
I sometimes get big readings one day and down the next due to carb bloat. Maybe this was the cause.
But whatever caused it that's great news!

Thursday 19th September 2013

Lovely sunny day... and doesn't that make for feeling much better straight off!
Ebay sales proving to give me some dilemmas... sold another item and then realised it had to go to Italy!! ..Immediately sends me into a panic as I am never quite sure what's what when having to post abroad..so asked for an increase in the postage which was paid and then found that it really didn't cost much more anyway...Then on trying to find out where to acknowledge that it has been posted I noticed that I sent the wrong item to another person..
 .. I advertised two sets of scarf and gloves, one pink and one blue.. someone bought the blue but I sent the pink one!!.. I haven't heard anything from them so it seems they have accepted it .. time will tell..

Phoned my D..Sandra and had a nice chat. She's not been at all well with her arthritis and fibromyalgia and they keep insisting on putting her on these drugs that destroy her immune system which then leaves her feeling even worse. Doctors...!?! sometimes it's hard to understand what they are up to.

Called in to Tesco for some ingredients to make tomato chutney with all these toms that are not going to ripen now... mind you I really don't need any more chutney and hope I can find somewhere to donate it.

Diet went very well... did have the thought of chocolate cross my mind when in Tesco but reminded myself that I want to look somewhat more trim when I go on my cruise at Xmas...

Breakfast - NIL (up too late)
Lunch - Bacon 74g + Egg poached 1
Snack - Digestive Biscuits 2
Evening - Potato baked in jacket 200g + Salad + Tuna 124g + S.Cream 30g
Extra - Milk 200ml

Cals 1225 Carbs 70 Fat 58 Protein 81 Sugars 22 Fibre 5

Hola Chica - sorry I've been awol, and will be for anoth couple of days.
Hope the shoulder is feeling better - i occasionally get sleepless nights if my back's playing up.
:rotflmao: at you sending the wrong goods to people. I bet they had a bit of a chuckle at the other end!
See you on Sunday again when I get back.

Plodding on!!

Well done Emm! 10/10 for bypassing the chocolate in Tesco :) I'm impressed with your ensuing skills, even though your sending the wrong items!!! X
