Anyone in the 9s want to be in the 8's ??

You did brilliantly, Donna. Well done :D Those fireworks must have lasted ages.

Deb, I completely agree mini mars bars don't taste the same...the big ones taste the best, ain't that the way.

Kim, sit yourself down and watch some tele. Rest yourself :) The sooner you do, the sooner you'll be back on it :D

You girls are officially reading the post of the luckiest girl in the UK right now, by some miracle I managed a STS. Undeserved (annoying to read, I know) but I am SO glad of it. I've never been so happy to see the same number flash up on the scales two weeks in a row lol. Next week...I will be 8st 12!

Morning all

sounds like your night went with a bang donna lol

well i weighed in today - i am now showing 8st 9.25lb which is 2.5lb up from weigh in day? my maths with scales isnt the best - i was 8st 6.75lb on friday lol

so even though i know this isnt an accurate figure and that i had wine til late last night plus a choc bar and a lot of it may be water etc etc it does just make me want to be extra good today so at least some good has came out of the daily weighing. I have been pretty bad last week and this weekend, being slack when having some crisps etc so i aim to be better - one day at a time ha

OMG Nikki that is AMAZING..I can't bake at all so I'm very jealous! I'm also imagining how many bowls of cake mix it must have taken and how much restraint you must have not to be in a sugar induced coma now (as I would be) from licking the bowl lol

Thanks hun :)

The poor lady that bough it out singing happy birthday must have practically broke her arms!

It had 25 eggs, 1kg flour, 1kg sugar, 2kg butter, 1.5kg icing sugar and 2.5kg of royal icing!! Took ages!

It's for the best, you'll only want to lick your computer/phone screen haha!

Omg I can only imagine how heavy it was with all that goodness locked inside hehe!

I must admit I'm gutted that that I didn't get a slice!

My boyfriend worked out we probably had about two and a half hours worth, they set off 3 at a time. They were amazing, better then a lot of displays you'd get in a pub. He always goes all out, but I haven't been there for bon fire night since I was younger.

Well done on the STS Jenna, I managed to STS the past couple of weeks with complete blow outs at the weekend and don't know how I got away with it, but I suppose if we're very good most of the time its amazing what we can get away with.

The cake looks great Nikki, I'm very jealous, don't think I could ever make something like that.

Taking little one to his dads and then we're off to pick up the gotham city jail as a favour to Santa haha. We still need to order the batcave as well and then I think all we need for little one is a CD player and a few stocking fillers. Oh plus we'll probably buy him the avengers on DVD as well... possibly from us that one as it'll fit nicely under the tree

Another half a pound off!!!

Friday: 9st 4.5lbs

You might be dehydrated Deb after the wine.....but dont forget its an experiment, so the weight cant be trusted!
Yay well done on the STS Jenna, goes to show one blowout wont hurt!
Loving the cake Nikki, very talented lady

Back from shopping and have loads more crossed off the list, other then little one I think all we have to sort now is people who we're buying tins of biscuits for. I can't wait to start wrapping but I'm going to, I'll wait until we have the decorations up and then I can snuggle up and do it while eating a mince pie with a baileys coffee haha... get that proper Christmas feeling.

Omy, I'm jealous Donna, what time do the shops near you open on a Sunday? Proper shopping shops over here don't open til 1pm and close at 6!

What? That's crazy, they open around 10 here in town and shut at 4... but the outlet places tend to open about 11 and shut at around 5. We went to town today but when we go to the shopping centres or outlet places we always forget its 11 they open and end up walking around for an hour waiting for things to open, luckily its nice to have a chat and I suppose we're getting extra body magic haha and some of the shops open for browsing so its not the end of the world.

I'm starving now though but wanted a jacket for lunch so waiting for it to cook, doing it in the microwave rather then oven so it'll be done quicker lol.

Yep, stupid Sunday laws over here! The only place that opens early is Tesco...they open at 12.30 to let you start getting your shopping but you can't buy until 1 which is horrific as everyone rushes in at 12.30 and then waits in a queue at the checkout for ages! Nightmare when you're only popping in for one or two essentials.

I always cook my baked potato in the micro and then just pop in the oven for a few mins to crisp it up...I don't have the patience. I'm very much a chicken DING kind of girl...the sound of the micro is music to my ears haha!

Oh for chuffs sake :( just got it out and its been murdered :( rock solid. I put it in for 20 minutes which I thought would be fine as usually when I do it in the microwave I put it in for 10 or 15 and it needs longer! This is why I just do them in the oven!!

Boyfriend thinks its funny but I could punch him in the face, its okay for him when he's just had his two ham rolls but I'm hungry and need food now but now I need to try and cook another one without killing it, tempted to just take it out and eat it even if its raw after ten minutes.... as long as its warmed through lol

It's almost done now, but thanks I'll try that next time :)

Haha I'm useless with a microwave, should probably start using mine a little more often.

Hate it when that happens to baked potatoes but i also do mine in micro then crisp up in oven with spray of fry light and salt n pepper.

So did day three of shred yet then ate two slices toast and pack quavers. Easy over 300 cals just on nothing substantial....what's going on? Greedy mare
