Hi just popping by to subscribe! Food looks really good and ur losses have been great! I do green days too so will def be stealing a few ideas.

Hope the potty training is going well, it is hard work but you get there in the end!

Hi Riahummingbird, I'm really enjoying SW so far :) not enjoying the potty training so much, my carpet will never be the same again and the potty is still sparkly clean. But I shall persevere.
I hope I can give you some inspiration but I wouldn't hold your breath!
Ali x

Sunday 21st July

Today looks quite similar to yesterday but that's ok, I'm trying to put off doing a food shop.

Breakfast: sweet couscous with fat free fromage frais and mixed fruit chunks from the freezer

Lunch: lentil bake (1/2 HEXA, half HEXB), melon, orange

Dinner: Mexican chilli innocent veg pot (4.5) with carrots, beetroot, cabbage and two hard boiled eggs. Quite a feast and so yummy :)

Snacks: grapes and strawberries

I managed to resist temptation at the birthday party this afternoon, very pleased with myself. I've got another child's party this week so I'm hoping to remain just as strong then!

Monday 22nd July

Only half a plan for today. My mother in law is coming on a picnic with my son and I. I suggested this thinking I would have some control, but no she has insisted on bringing the entire picnic for all of us (we don't always see eye to eye). My only saving grace is I know she only eats brown bread, so I can have that as my HEXB, and undoubtably there will be cheese so that will be my HEXA. However I know there will also be cake, and she won't take no for an answer. So I will have a little bit and make up for it later on in the week. I've put some fruit down as my initial lunch plan as we aren't meeting till 3, so I will have that at normal lunch time before we go. Phew.

Breakfast: sweet couscous with fat free fromage frais and mixed fruit chunks from the freezer

Lunch: banana, orange, apple, sweet Thai chilli low fat supernoodles (I knew I wouldn't last until 3 for lunch)

Picnic: two egg mayo sandwiches (2HEXB plus syns), two cheese and cucumber sandwiches (2HEXA plus syns), salad, strawberries, grapes, co-op individual cherry bakewell (no idea on syns)

Dinner: leftover salad and some low fat quorn sausages

You are doing great. Childrens birthday parties are hard to resist with all that cake and sweets!

Mushy pea curry is yummy lol. It is a bit random but does taste like chip shop curry and is lovely with chips. I usually make it when im in a hurry as it is quick to throw together and it tastes good the next day too.

Thanks hummingbird :) children's parties are like torture. But most of my mum friends snapped back to their pre-baby figures and I didn't so kind of using that as motivation to keep me going. I want to wear pretty summery dresses like they do but instead I stand there in jeans and an unflattering top so hopefully by next summer that will have changed!

I made the mushy pea curry. Haven't had it yet but my son had it for his dinner and ate it all :) can't believe how easy and cheap it was to make, mushy peas are 16p in lidl, don't know why I haven't bought them before!

Thank you :) really happy with it!

Haha I was the youngest in the garden centre by about 50 years! It was nice though, no hustle and bustle!

I haven't made tonight's dinner for ages, but I really fancied BNS, but I won't make it a regular as they are so expensive out of season. I'm hoping one will make me 2 if not three meals though, we'll see!

Saturday 27th July

Breakfast: banana, strawberries, fat free fromage frais

Lunch: Simply Pasta at the Harvester with rocket and sweetcorn, beetroot, lettuce, peppers and 1syn dressing from the salad bar. My pasta came with garlic bread but I gave it to my son :) HEXB's for oil. Pepsi max

Dinner: couscous, salad, carrots, tomato, hummus and boiled eggs

I'm really pleased I overcame two obstacles today: Harvester; I never thought I would be able to go there and order something without chips, and only eat 'salad' from the salad bar, not pasta/coleslaw/bread/dressing soaked food. Also this evening I stuck to my plan while OH got a takeaway and ate it in front of me AND he bought himself profiteroles for pudding and ate them really slowly with a grin on his face, but I DID resist - go me :) and I feel sooo good for it.
